The VoIP communication system at OMNI Hospital Alam Sutera uses the Elastix 2.5 server with the Centos 5.11 operating system. Elastix 2.5 by the developer has been declared End of Life. The server security system is a serious concern considering that VoIP servers can be accessed from the internet. Iptables and fail2ban applications are applications that are used to limit and counteract those who try to attack the VoIP server. One application that can be used as an open source VoIP server is the Issabel Application version 4.0. The migration process from Elastix 2.5 application to Issabel 4.0 by backing up all configurations in the Elastix 2.5 application through a web browser including the configuration of endpoints, fax, e-mail, asterisk. After the backup file is downloaded then upload the backup file to the Issabel 4.0 application then run the migration process. Adding a backup path as a failover connection is needed because the VoIP communication protocol between the OMNI Hospitals Group still uses one path so that when there is a problem in the connection path, the communication protocol will stop. The tunnel EoIP is a protocol used as a backup path between the OMNI Hospitals Group site.

Building VoIP technology requires a server called Elastix. Singleboard circuit device can be an alternative to cover the shortcomings of a PC as a VoIP server, to support practicum activities. The specifications for the quad-core processor and 1GB LPDDR2 memory are expected to be able to provide access to the latest version of the operating system to be able to produce better communication quality as I PPBX. This study designed a VoIP IP PBX server communication system at the Polinema Telecommunication Laboratory using the Elastix Linux operating system, to determine the quality of VoIP communication services and the performance of a single board circuit as an IPPBX server. The results of the research are 64 kbps bandwidth capacity capable of serving a customer capacity of 181 subscribers through 8 number of channels. QoS measurement obtained a delay value of 4.87091 ms; jitter of 18,265ms; packet loss of 0.71%; throughput of 0.2747 Mbit / sec. The singleboard circuit server is capable of serving VoIP communications for as many as 20 users and 10 calls simultaneously on the same server with a cpu usage percentage of 17.7% and 17.2% cpu usage, when communicating with other servers.

Recent years, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) has gained great attention and importance both in civil and military applications all over the world. Ground Monitoring and Control System (GMCS) is an important part of the entire unmanned helicopter system. As UAV develops rapidly, the functions and tasks are becoming increasingly complex, and the ground control station needs to collect more data. In addition, establishing a real-time and reliable communication system has become an important part of the control system of UAVs. The μC/OS-II operating system has the characteristics of modular application which can be used for multiple task operations, and can satisfy the requirement of real time system very well. And the system was successfully applicable to practical UAV fighter and the setting up of The Ground Monitoring Station.

The data acquisition equipment is very useful and popular equipment in agriculture and the other fields. This paper introduces the design of a portable data acquisition and communication system used in cropland. It collect signals of various analog and digital sensors, GPS space and time data, saving data by USB interface and transmission through WCDMA or Bluetooth. The key technology of the system is the use of embedded microprocessor (ARM), Linux Operating system and WCDMA wireless communication. This paper mainly analyzed the basic principle, hardware interface and software flow chart of this system.

CAN bus was widely used in embedded system development, but most embedded processors without CAN bus controller, need to extend external CAN bus interface through external bus. In order to send and receive the CAN bus data by S3C2440 chip, interface function of S3C2440 was extended by MCP2515 chip in the paper, which was used the SPI interface to extend CAN bus interface. The design of CAN bus hardware interface was described in the paper. The design of CAN device drive program on the embedded Linux operating system was specified in detail.

In today’s world, communication is very important and keeping this communication in real time is important as our lives become faster. Internet communication is becoming more and more important these days. Online communication allows users to communicate with other people in a fast and easy way. Keeping this in mind, the communication app should be able to transfer files and messages instantly without or with little delay, depending on the broadcast field. For such a system to work there must be a database that will update in real time to store all the data transferred.Google Firebase is a service that provides real-time data server, as well as many other features and Firebase enables us to develop applications that are easy to connect to. In this paper, we propose a system that will be able to send text and text-based files such as photos, audio, video, text online between two users on the network in real time.We use the Android and Google Firebase operating system to manage contact back functionality, highlighting various features of the application and service.

WhatsApp (WA) is one of the Instant Messaging (IM) applications used by many people. WA and mobile devices cannot be separated from the possibility of misuse such as for criminal purposes. To handle a crime case involving a mobile device, the investigator needs to use suitable forensic tools and mobile forensic methodology so that the results can be approved and accepted by the law. This research conducted a forensic analysis of WA on unrooted Samsung C9 Pro devices using Belkasoft Evidence, Oxygen Forensic, Magnet AXIOM, and WA Key/DB Extractor. This research gives suggestion about forensic tools for conducting forensic analysis related to WA.  From the research can be seen that there is no tool that can be used to obtain all the WA artifact parameters used in the research. The combination of the Magnet AXIOM and WA Key/DB Extractor is known to get the best results and meets the WA artifact parameters.

With the rise of mobile devices and the high number of instant messaging applications available in the stores, it is necessary to evaluate the usability of such applications to provide a more satisfying user experience. To this end, this paper presents a methodical usability evaluation of instant messaging applications both in iOS and Android platforms. A predefined evaluation was used, which was created to detect the main usability issues of mobile applications, regardless of the device used and the evaluated applications. Consequently, two methods were used: the keystroke level model and the mobile heuristic evaluation. Also, the results suggest that the main problems of this type of applications are difficulties in performing tasks (some of them were not agile nor easy to complete), lack of element cohesion (some icons and buttons did not follow the style of the operating system, bad translations, and too much information on the screen), problems with the user interface (pop-ups overlapping the status bar, clipped elements, sometimes the interface did not rotate, and, in other cases, the interface changed considerably when the device was rotated), and lack of information about privacy and security features. Finally, based on the results, we propose a set of recommendations that will be helpful for developers of this kind of applications.
