In this paper, according to the requirements of welder's technical qualification specification, combined with the practice training topic of TIG vertical butt welding, we have repeatedly trained the operation process of TIG vertical butt welding of q355g steel pipe with specification of Φ 60 х 5,And we adopt the following process measures in the welding process: before welding, we make V-shaped tooling by combining with the workpiece ; when welding, we choose reasonable process parameters; at the same time, we pay more attention to the welding operation skills of backing and cover layer. Therefore, we have achieved satisfactory weld quality, and the relevant experience has been popularized in the teaching process of the school to obtain good evaluation.

In the process of horizontal butt welding of CO2 gas shielded welding, the molten metal will squat under the effect of its own weight. Therefore, the upper part of the weld seam is very easy to produce undercuts, and the lower part is prone to defects such as welding and unwelding. If the problem is serious, it will cause welding. Seam cannot pass the weld quality test. This article is based on the welding skill training topic “CO2 gas shielded welding transverse welding”. Through trial and error of preparations before welding, selection of welding process parameters, and welding operation process, Weld seam quality is well controlled, weld seams are beautifully formed, and relevant experience is promoted in practical training.

AbstractThe purpose of the experiment was to study the influence of the laser beam in pulse mode on metallic foils in order to obtain a spot weld. The welding process was carried out using the overlap weld method, using spot welds in various quantities. The Nd - YAG BLS 720 pulsed laser was used to conduct the experiment. The impact of the number of spot welds on the value of force needed to break the sample was examined. A number of measurements were carried out to determine the best process parameters. Butt welding and overlap welding were also performed using a continuous weld consisting of spot welds. Weld strength tests were performed to select the most appropriate parameters for the process under consideration.

AbstractNew ferritic P92 steel is widely used in modern power plants due to its good combination of mechanical and physical properties. However, cracks are often formed in the welded sections during the fabrication or service. In order to ensure the structure integrity, the effects of residual stresses need to be considered. The objective of this paper is to investigate the influence of arc travelling speed and welding sequences on the residual stresses distribution in the welded sections of P92 pipes by finite element method (FEM). Results show that arc travelling speed and welding sequences have great effects on residual stresses distribution. With the arc travelling speed increasing, the residual stresses increase. Meanwhile, welding sequences of case B present smaller residual stresses and more symmetrical distribution of residual stresses at the weld centre line. Therefore, using slower arc travelling speed and case B welding sequences can be useful to decrease the residual stresses, which provides a reference for optimizing the welding technology and improving the fabrication process of new ferritic P92 welded pipes with small diameter and thick wall.

The paper presents aspects regarding the influence of vibrations on the mechanical properties of welded joints, made with basic materials of Spanish and Romanian origin. In this research is presented the practical way to make the necessary assemblies for the proposed tests. The tests show that vibrations have a significant contribution to the quality of welded joints. This is explained by the appearance of several crystallization centres which makes the structure finer. By using vibrations, the atoms are rearranged in the structure, ensuring a proper de-tensioning. The stresses induced in welded metals are significantly reduced by the use of vibration during welding process. The addition materials have a significant contribution to the emergence of stresses in welded joints as well. These stresses can contribute to the appearance of microstructural constituents with significant hardness. The welding equipment and technologies used also have a significant contribution to the emergence of the remaining stresses. For example, the submerged arc welding technology (SAF) can introduce very high internal stresses. By using vibrations during the welding process, it is achieved a fine structure and a significant reduction of remaining stresses in the welded joints.

In this paper, we study Spray welding technology has been widely used in our country, it is between the spraying and welding process, the workpiece surface after spray welding coating is thin and smooth, dilution rate is extremely low, the deposited layer and base metal metallurgy, high bonding strength, density, and coating no slag inclusion, porosity and oxidation is suitable for occasions with thin coating. In 45Mn parent metal, for example, this paper mainly introduces the application of the technology in production.

Welding electrode arc welding, upside welding, single side welding, double side forming welding operation technology is the most difficult welding process in manual arc welding operation. It is an operation technology that senior welding operators must master, and it reflects the technical level of the welding welder. . In this paper, the welding operation essentials and operation skills of backing welding, filling welding and cover welding are studied for the welding operation of the back welding test board, which creates a theoretical basis for the improvement of the welding operator's operation skills.

As already known, no proper control or process control parameter which absolutely guarantees a high level quality of joints made by electro-resistive welding has been established so far, especially when all possible parameters are taken into account during the welding process. Due to the process of butt-welding being very short-lived, ensuring quality of the joints is a difficult and under-researched problem. The application of non-destructive testing methods to the control interface joints is also not reliable. Therefore, further research in this area should concentrate on studying the influence of basic welding parameters, and calculating their direct or indirect impact can serve to achieve a highquality welded joint with for practice sufficient accuracy.
