Introduction. Industrial accidents are associated with various factors: human, social and economic problems, which we must strive to eliminate, thereby ensuring a safe working environment. Statistics on occupational injuries are necessary to assess the degree of hazard and potential risks associated with occupational factors to protect workers. Labor inspectorate statistics play an important role in developing national policies, systems, programs and strategies to improve safety and working conditions for miners in Zimbabwe. Labor Inspection in Zimbabwe is one of the main safety control mechanisms. Labor inspection statistics enable the government to monitor the mining industry and better analyze mining safety compliance issues. Problem Statement. The article discusses the prediction of accidents in the mining industry of the Republic of Zimbabwe in order to reduce the incidence of injuries. Economic and social development in the mining industry requires reliable analysis of injury statistics. Statistics of injuries in various production processes are given. Theoretical Part. In the process of data analysis, interpolation algorithms are used embedded in mathematical software. Statistical reports on occupational injuries provided by the Federal State Statistics Service were used as basic information. Conclusion. Mathematical forecasting of industrial injuries in the mining industry in Zimbabwe allows us to determine the likely values of the predicted indicators.

The level of occupational injuries and occupational diseases in extractive mining industries of the far north of Russia is associated both with difficult arduous working conditions and also with climatic conditions unfriendly to humans. The paper presents the results of a correlation analysis of data on occupational injuries and occupational diseases occupational in the Russian Federation, the Murmansk region and the Republic of Komi. The values of the background risk of injuries and occupational diseases in each of the considered areas are calculated. The linear dependences of the background risk of injuries and occupational diseases from severe climatic conditions are established. On the basis of the study, the specific weight of the background risk was identified at the general risk of injuries and occupational diseases for the areas under consideration. The necessity of using background risk in assessing the risk of injuries and the risk of occupational diseases in the Far North of Russia is substantiated.

The purpose of the article is to present an analytical system that allows users to proces data necessary for an industrial risk analysis and management, to monitor the level of industrial safety in a given site, and to fulfil essential tasks within the field of occupational safety. This system’s implementation will make the industrial safety management at industrial sites more effective. Multifactorial, probabilistic, determined models of accidents’ hazard and severity indexes are integrated into the computing core of the Information and Analytical System. Then, statistical methods determine the risk assessment of occupational injuries and diseases. The Information and Analytical System for Hazard Level Assessment and Forecasting Risk of Emergencies in the Republic of Kazakhstan allows users to work efficiently with large volumes of information and form a united analytical electronic report about the state of industrial safety. The main objective of the monitoring system is to conduct a comprehensive analysis and assessment of the state of accidents, traumas and occupational sickness rates at industrial sites, the results being classified by the degree of hazard and insalubrity of manufacture. The introduction of the computer monitoring system in the specialized services of the Emergency Management Committee and the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and at industrial enterprises throughout the country, will allow users to analyse the state of the industrial and occupational safety constantly and objectively; as a consequence, the implementation will go a long way towards comprehensively approaching the task of increasing safety levels at industrial sites.

Indicators of industrial injuries in the Russian coal industry remain unacceptably high. Solutions to this problem should be sought in the way of accident prevention, which can be achieved through operational risk management of injuries, implemented by analyzing the state of labor protection for this factor, followed by determining the causes that lead to injuries. On the example of SUEK-Kuzbass JSC, the risks of light, severe, fatal and general injuries were calculated. Based on the individual regression coefficients of the obtained correlations of injury risks, the mines were ranked according to the level of industrial injuries. For a more detailed assessment of the state of labor protection, a matrix of the causes of accidents and their severity is proposed, which displays a qualitative description of the situation at the enterprise.

The problem of industrial injuries and occupational diseases of workers is relevant for all countries, including the Republic of Kazakhstan, where more than 200 people die every year and more than 2,000 are injured at workplaces due to hazardous and harmful production factors, including insufficient natural or artificial illumination of workplaces. The aim of the work is to study the level of illumination of workplaces at enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan and to establish the influence of this factor on the working conditions. The object of the study is workplaces and employees of one of the largest machine-building plants, where 60 employees were interviewed, and instrumental measurements of illumination levels were performed in two workshops. The questionnaire method and methods for assessing workplaces by the level of illumination were used. The analysis showed that the largest number of surveyed workers (58.4%) were not satisfied with the level of illumination; according to the instrumental measurements of illumination, 40.9% and 46.6% of workplaces were harmful and dangerous. Employees working under harmful conditions are entitled to a number of benefits and compensations. Thus, the creation of rational working conditions, including illumination of workplaces, helps to minimize injuries and occupational diseases and increase the efficiency and productivity of labor.

The relevance of this topic is due to the fact that today a large place in the system of life safety is occupied by industrial injuries. In agriculture, injury rates are affected by the specificity of this branch of the economy, associated with the seasonality of work in the open air, with non-normality of the working day and other distinctive working conditions. The purpose of this work was to assess injuries associated with the causes of accidents in agriculture, as well as the need to identify sources of injury to workers, develop and implement measures to prevent them. Statistics from the Bureau of national statistics of the Agency for strategic planning and reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan were used to assess injuries in agriculture. The state of injuries, types and causes of injuries in agriculture are considered. Measures aimed at preventing accidents and injuries at agricultural enterprises are analyzed.

The Commission of Enquiry on Occupational Health, appointed in 1975, published its findings in 1976. The general impression gained by members of the Commission, after a series of visits and interviews pertinent to the field, is summed up thus in the fourth chapter of the Report: Although industrialists in the Republic and the Territory of South-West Africa are aware of the workers' position, it has regrettably to be stated categorically that, except in the mining industry, industrial health not only occupies a secondary position in industry in this country, but that industrialists have put very little time, money and organisation into the prevention of occupational diseases (Erasmus 1976).

Water plays a very important role in supporting human life and other living beings as goods that meet public needs. Water is one of the declared goods controlled by the state as mentioned in the constitution of the republic of Indonesia. The state control over water indicated that water management can bring justice and prosperity for all Indonesian people. However, in fact, water currently becomes a product commercialized by individuals and corporations. It raised a question on how the government responsibility to protect the people's right to clean water. This study found that in normative context, the government had been responsible in protecting the people’s right over the clean water. However, in practical context, it found that the government had not fully protected people's right over clean water. The government still interpreted the state control over water in the form of creating policies, establishing a set of regulations, conducting management, and also supervision.
