The ontological and epistemological dimensions of Industrial Psychology originated from disparate psychology theories and multi-disciplinary attempts at solving problems related to employee satisfaction and productivity. From these developments, two notional clusters of competencies emerged to represent Personnel Psychology and Organisational Psychology. Industrial Psychology teaching, however, includes conflicting psychological theories which may potentially create something akin to an identity crisis among academics and practitioners. Educational strategies and the Industrial Psychologist’s role in industry, should therefore be revised. Against the scenario of this background, the article offers guidelines which allude to competency based training; the influence of information technology on Industrial Psychology teaching; and a new anticipated role for the Industrial Psychologist.

A development and evaluation the Cloud Computing (ClComp) of Ministry of Electricity and Energy of Egypt (MEEE) is presented in this paper. In order to be able to judge whether the ClComp of MEEE is competence, there is a need to develop criteria which performance can judged. Competency based standards and the ability to perform the activities within an occupation to the standard expected in the organization structure are presented. The key objective of Cloud Computing is to integrate Authorized Groups (AuthGs) development with the needs of the organization structures of MEEE. The ClComp of MEEE was developed jointly between the telecommunication information technology and ClComp services. Evaluation enables participant to distinguish between AuthGs centered view and a customer centered view of cloud computing of MEEE is competence evaluation. Recognize the main types of evaluation, explain the purpose of evaluation compare the approaches to cloud computing evaluation and review the relationship between the process and policy of evaluation are investigated. Microprocessor architecture presented an optimistic view of multicore scalability to develop the ClComp. Moreover this paper investigates the theoretical analysis of multiprocessor developing and scalability. The analysis was based on the laws of Amdahl's, Gustafson's, Hill's and Marty for fixed-workload condition. Moreover, challenged the difficulties to develop better cloud computing is taken into account. Also, multicore analysis of ClComp scalability, performance and power under fixed-time and memory-bound conditions are studied. These results complement existing studies and demonstrate that ClComp architectures are capable of extensive scalability and developing.

The authors review the history of community organization, both within and outside social work, describe the various sociological and social psychological theories that inform organizing approaches, and summarize conflict and consensus models in use in the early 21st century. We review the constituencies, issues, and venues that animate contemporary organizing efforts and indicate demographic trends in aging, immigration, diversity, and the labor force that suggest new opportunities for collective action. Finally, the authors discuss dramatic increases in organizing for environmental justice, immigrant rights, and youth-led initiatives, as well as new activities involving information technology, electoral organizing, and community–labor coalitions.

This study aims to measure the effect of leadership style (transformational or transactional) on job satisfaction mediated by job perceptions. Data collection was carried out through quantitative questionnaires with simple random sampling via electronic online to the employees of the Information Technology Industries in Banten. The results of the questionnaire returned and valid were 377 respondents. Data processing used the SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction, both directly and indirectly through mediating job perceptions. Meanwhile, transactional leadership has no significant effect on employee satisfaction, either directly or indirectly through mediating job perceptions. This new research proposes a model to build job satisfaction for consumer goods industry employees in Banten through increasing the transformational leadership ability of company heads with perceptions of work as a mediator.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) involves allowing employees to use their own mobile devices to access their organisations’ networks. Many organisations are embracing this trend as a means to cut information technology (IT) expenditure, enhance employee satisfaction, etc. However, these and other benefits come at a cost in the form of exposing an organisation to new risks. The aim of this research was to assist organisations to identify the incremental risks they could potentially encounter if they implement a BYOD programme and how they can reduce the risks directly related to BYOD to an acceptable level. An extensive literature review was performed to identify the risks which arise as a result of the adoption of a BYOD programme. COBIT 5 was identified as the most appropriate framework which could be used to develop possible safeguards to mitigate the incremental risks associated with a BYOD programme to an acceptable level. Safeguards were developed to address the risks.

Competency mapping in higher education is not a new technique for curriculum development. Competency-based curriculum in health care administration programs has appeared in the literature every few years. Texas State University has taught a bachelor’s in health administration (BHA) and a master’s in health administration (MHA) for decades and recently wanted to validate its curriculum. Professors began with one course, the management of health information technology (HIT). We had two objectives with this work: What are the current health care information technology competencies required of health care administrators? Is the quality and depth of the current HIT curriculum sufficient? A competency-mapping exercise was used for the first question, and a survey mechanism was used for the second. Three demographic, 10 Likert-type-scale statements, and one free-text question were presented through an online survey instrument to stakeholders (alumni and preceptors). Stakeholders were asked about the importance, quality, and capabilities enabled by the HIT course. Nonparametric tests were used for analysis. The competency-mapping exercise highlighted clear relationships with learning objectives and identified two shortcomings in the current syllabus for both BHA and a MHA programs. Sixty-nine alumni and 20 preceptors provided valid responses to the surveys. Stakeholders generally agreed with the content of the current courses, but asked for updated material and more exposure to live electronic health records. Our methods highlighted shortfalls in our curriculum for one of our courses. We will next create surveys for the rest of the curriculum, engaging with our stakeholders in a continuous quality-improvement manner.

One of the important areas that determine the company’s strategic development is human resource management. Information technology in this area is a crucial tool that implements many management functions, eliminating the human factor, facilitating the work of managers and improving performance indicators of work activities. The paper presents a method for finding the best performer based on a competency- based approach. Because of the ontologies use, it was possible to implement a complex multi-criteria search, which became the basis for organizing corporate training and monitoring competencies in the company.

Dhyana Pura University (Undhira) is one of the higher education institutions that utilize the advancement of information technology to achieve optimal results. The observation shows that bandwidth utilization is not well managed. On this basis, this study aims to analyze Quality of Service (QoS) with parameters throughput, delay, packet loss, jitter and bandwidth by Class Based Queuing (CBQ) methods as a queue method that regulates usage network bandwidth allocated to each user. This study also measured the level of employee satisfaction using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method. The results of this study indicate that the CBQ method is a method of bandwidth management in reducing bandwidth in crisis clients, so as to increase employee satisfaction in using internet services in the process of service for students.
