Memes About Socially Significant Events as an Instrument for Social Consolidation The meme is the main genre form which enlarges their consideration and semantics. Being a genre of contemporary folklore, the meme provides understanding about the language world view of representatives of a certain mentality; the article shows it with the examples of consideration stages for the current key word Coronavirus in the Russian language usage. The development of modern media discourse is processing in such a way that the current key words, which appeared in media due to the political agenda, continue to live in the social networks. The language exists as a response to current social events, and the topical vocabulary of the current moment is not an exception in this sense. The article presents the potential of key words consideration as the basis of social interaction in the process of consolidation and identification. Analiza memu – jednego z gatunków współczesnego folkloru – pomaga w zrozumieniu językowego obrazu świata nosicieli narodowej mentalności. Pokazujemy to na przykładzie etapów rozwoju w rosyjskim uzusie językowym znaczenia leksemu koronawirus – słowa klucza chwili obecnej. Dla współczesnego dyskursu medialnego charakterystyczny jest obieg tzw. słów kluczy chwili obecnej. Pojawiwszy się w mediach tradycyjnych ze względu na wydarzenia polityczne, kontynuują swoje życie w mediach społecznościowych. Ogląd współczesnego słownictwa chwili obecnej pokazuje, że język reaguje na przemiany zachodzące w społeczeństwie. Nasze ustalenia pokazują potencjał myślenia o słowach kluczach jako o podstawie interakcji społecznej w procesie konsolidacji i solidaryzacji.

In this paper we have carried out an analysis and description of the four Russian language textbooks for elementary school (including the components of the accompanying textbook structures) from the book set “Oрбита” that was used in primary schools in Montenegro for more 20 years. The approach was based on determining how much the individualized exercises and tasks are included in the textbook, with highlighting the problems the students are facing with. Finally, we offered a series of solutions that make the exercises better and easier. The aim of our paper is todetermine whether and to what extent individualization reflects the level of structure and content of exercises and tasks in the analyzed textbook corpus, as well as to offer a variety of strategies and levels of individualization in the process of conceiving, designing and implementing of textbook of Russian language. The goal of this article is to analyze the principles and methods of using the precedent semantics of literary onyms in the process of metaphorization of the high-profile international event Brexit in contemporary (2016–2021) Russian-language media discourse. The research material encompasses media discourse, from which fragments of online versions of Russian-language newspaper and journalistic texts of different genres and socio-political orientation have been selected. As an additional source of empirical material, the author uses the newspaper subcorpus of the national corpus of the Russian language, as well as the Russian-language subcorpus of the international databases Eastview and Aranea. In order to achieve the main goal of the research the author uses the method of continuous sampling, methods of corpus linguistics, methods of content analysis, as well as narrative and contextual analysis (of fragments of media discourse), linguocultural analysis of texts, methods of conceptual analysis and interpretation. Thanks to the use of methods of corpus linguistics, more than 400 contextual realizations of the use of precedent names in connotative metaphorical meaning (in connection with Brexit) have been collected and analyzed. The article presents only the most expressive and most common examples of metaphorization of precedent names when describing the discursive event of Brexit. On the basis of the analysis, the author concludes that the so-called universal-precedent phenomena (mainly of English but also European literature) prevail in the process of metaphorization compared to those of Russian literature, which are extremely rare. In the paper’s study, the author also focuses on the fact that precedent names in the process of metaphorization undergo desemanticization (simplification of the meaning) and become distinctive cultural stereotypes. Initial hypothesis that the intertextuality of the Russian media discourse has a pronounced literary-centric character is confirmed.

Two Perspectives on the Performative Social Body: Teenage Make-up Routines in Fanfik and the Jeżycjada cycle. The article discusses make-up as an important element in a storyworld of YA fiction. It uses examples taken from novels by two Polish authors, the well-established and acclaimed Małgorzata Musierowicz, the author of the Jeżycjada cycle 1977–2015, and Natalia Osińska, who has recently debuted with a novel entitled Fanfik 2016. The article shows that Osińska’s novel can be seen as a transformative rendition of Musi­erowicz’s works. It also focuses on the paratexts adding meaningful context in the case of both Musiero­wicz and Osińska, as well as comments on the public recognition of Musierowicz’s fiction, the responses of Musierowicz’s fandom to the alleged ideological message of her novels, and the political agenda of the publishing house that put Osińska’s book on the market. The concepts of the performative social body, the cosmetic paradox, and glamour are employed to argue that Osińska’s book is intended as a critique of the world-view presented in Jeżycjada’s storyworld. Although a direct relationship between the two fictional worlds cannot be established, the article highlights some tangent points between them: in both cases, make-up serves the expression of the value system. In the Jeżycjada cycle, it is presented mostly as disguise and deception even though at the same time discreet make-up is meant to be part and parcel of womens’ lives. By contrast, featuring queer teenagers, Osińska’s debut novel highlights the transformative function of cosmetics as tools used to create the social body.Две точки зрения на перформативное социальное тело: подростковый макияж в романах Fanfik и Jeżycjada. В тексте рассматривается макияж как важный элемент мира беллетристики для юных читателей. В статье использованы примеры из романов двух польских авторов: из­вестной Малгожаты Мусерович, автора цикла Jeżycjada, и Натальи Осинской, которая недавно дебютировала c романом Fanfik. Текст объясняет тот факт, что роман Oсинской был провоз­глашен своего рода интерпретацией произведений Мусерович. В статье проанализированы паратексты, создающие значимый контекст, в произведениях Мусерович и Осинской. Автор исследования затрагивает вопрос об общественном признании литературы Мусерович. В статье прокомментированы ответы фэндома писательницы на предполагаемое идеологическое посла­ние ее романов и рассмотрена политическая позиция издательства, которое выпустило книгу Осинской на рынок. В статье также идет речь о концепции перформативного социального тела, косметического парадокса и гламура. Книга Осинской считается критикой мировоззрения, представленного в мире Jeżycjady. Хотя прямая связь между двумя вымышленными мирами не может быть установлена, между ними, безусловно, есть некоторые точки пересечения. В обоих случаях макияж служит для выражения системы ценностей. В цикле Jeżycjada макияж представ­лен в основном как маскировка и обман, но в то же время сдержанный макияж — неотъемлемая часть жизни женщин. С другой стороны, опиcывая квир подростков, Осинская подчеркивает в своем дебютном романе трансформационную функцию косметики как инструмента, исполь­зуемого для создания социального тела.

The article examines the problem of the functioning of the Russian language in the texts of the online social networks as means of realization of the social needs and the organization of the communication between people. The author supposes that such texts are a mirror of the state of the Russian society and the Russian language. The dominance of the factual tone of Internet discourse, orientation on the dialogue, emotion and aggression of the communication leads to the changes in the representation of the verbalized and non-verbalized knowledge, to the increase of the ways of language compression, to the use of the constructions of expressive syntax, to the fall of the culture of written speech. Slang and colloquial vocabulary with terminology at the same time, segmented structures, emoticons, the reduplication of the punctuation marks, the abbreviation, the allocation of front are used in the texts of social networks.

The article is devoted to the problem of studying the sociolinguistic potential of polypredicative syntactic constructions, defining the principles of analysis of multi-term complex sentences and complex sentences of a complicated type, describing the position of choosing the social roles considered in the work and justifying the inclusion of the interpersonal role “narrator” in the concept of social role in a literary text. The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the need to study the syntax of the modern Russian language in the sociolinguistic aspect, since at present the sociolinguistic approach is applied only to phonetics, vocabulary, phraseology. We have not identified significant studies related to the analysis of the syntactic structure of the Russian language, and in particular, polypredicative syntactic constructions presented in the sociolinguistic aspect. Therefore, it seems to us interesting to consider this problem.

Raden Adjeng Moeria (1934) by Njoo Cheong Seng offers the refusal of the Western tradition. Raden Adjeng Moeria is assumed as Njoo Cheong Seng response towards a social situation of his social group. The aims of this research are (1) to identify the worldview and social group which is represented by Njoo Cheong Seng and (2) to explore the result of Njoo Cheong Seng reaction toward a social situation in that era. This research uses the sociology literature perspective. The result of this research is that (1) Njoo Cheong Seng represented the social group of peranakan Chinese diaspora and based his world view on his tradition and value, (2) Raden Adjeng Moeria was the cultural resistance toward modern and liberalism issues. The cultural resistance was a strategy to defend his identity because he did not want to be trapped in the Western tradition and identity. Raden Adjeng Moeria diasumsikan sebagai bentuk tanggapan Njoo Cheong Seng terhadap situasi sosial dari kelompok sosial tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengidentifikasi pandangan dunia dan kelompok sosial yang diwakili oleh Njoo Cheong Seng dan (2) mengeksplorasi hasil tanggapan Njoo Cheong Seng terhadap situasi sosial yang berkembang pada era itu. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah sosiologi sastra. Hasil yang dicapai adalah bahwa (1) Njoo Cheong Seng mewakili kelompok sosial diaspora peranakan Tionghoa dan mendasarkan pandangan dunianya pada nilai dan tradisi leluhur (2) Raden Adjeng Moeria merupakan salah satu wujud perlawanan kultural terhadap persoalan modernisasi dan liberalisme di kalangan masyarakat itu. Perlawanan kultural itu merupakan satu cara dalam mempertahankan identitas yang didasarkan atas nilai dan tradisi kebudayaannya agar tidak terjebak pada identitas yang ditawarkan dunia Barat

The article examines functioning of the Russian language outside the Russian Federation: the peculiarities of the «national» Russian language in the Republic of Armenia, the concept of this term itself, the significance of using Russian in the media, overlapping national features. The main characteristics of the «national» Russian language outside Russia are considered to be as follows: the language is seen as an «advocate» of necessary national ideas and a real opportunity to transmit national ideas, thoughts, messages and information in a language of international communication. The development of the social institution of the «national language» in the future will largely determine the preservation of national cultural, educational as well as political and economic unity with Russia. We should not forget that professional journalistic activity is, first and foremost, a verbal activity. And the professional culture of journalists depends on how well they master the language. The linguistic features of the Russian-language media in Armenia present a rather broad spectrum of issues possible and relevant for consideration. The national variant is a certain form of adapting the classical literary language to the traditions and cultural values, to the urgent needs of a particular nation, thus becoming a special form of functioning of the language common for the nation.

The article states that the mode of intentionality, being a socio-cultural phenomenon, manifests itself in the language personality in the form of its socio-communicative attitudes. In comparison with subconscious sets of the “general cultural script” which motivate and support the functioning of a socio-cultural system as a whole, the sociocommunicative attitudes of the language personality are much more flexible, susceptible to multiple changes in the social network of communication. The socio-communicative attitudes of the language personality are studied with the units of analysis that can be called semantic accentuations embodied in the multiplicity and multidimensionality of links in the human associative-verbal network (AVN). Yu. N. Karaulov’s ideas about the complementarity of word-changing, word-forming and semantic variability in the AVN of the Russian language personality (RLP) are developed and tested in the article on new materials in connection with the multiplicity of ways of concentrating meaning. Using the latest experimental materials of the associative-verbal database SIBAS 1 (2007–2013) and SIBAS 2 (2014– 2021), the author puts to the test different techniques of vector analysis, both on the entire array of associates and within individual associative fields (AFs). These techniques include: an automatic generation (extraction from the entire array of associates) of the AFs of the studied word-forming units; a comparative psychoglossic analysis of the current diachronic dynamics of the AFs of the selected stimuli; constructing vectors of lexico-grammatical variation of the reactions in these AFs against the background of their semantic vectors; extracting particular word-changing and word-forming paradigms from the entire array of associates with a subsequent analysis of their contribution to the concentration of meanings, etc. Such methods show different entrances to the AVN for access to the same points of concentration of meaning and help to assess the contribution of the dissipated throughout the network associative grammar to the formation of semantic accentuations of the RLP. Hypothetically, it seems possible to imagine the construction of the fluctuation dynamics of an associative-verbal hypernetwork (AVHN) of the RLP on the combination of accentuation vectors of its subsystems (networks of word-changing, word-forming or semantic variability) in the current diachrony and historical retrospective.

Аннотация: В русском языке вопрос о количестве частей речи, их объеме, принципах их выделения до сих пор остается спорным, что составляет трудности в преподавании морфологического уровня русского языка и требует изучения данного вопроса с разных подходов. Разночтения в определении частеречной принадлежности некоторых лексических единиц объясняются многомерностью свойств слова. Статья посвящена одной из спорных проблем морфологии русского языка - частеречному статусу модальных слов, отличающихся от всех традиционно выделяемых частей речи по многим параметрам. В статье рассматриваются семантическая и синтаксическая природа, состав модальных слов, а также критерии их отграничения от других знаменательных частей речи. Ключевые слова: частеречный статус, модальность, субъективно-модальные значения, объективно-модальные значения, модальность достоверности/недостоверности, синкретичные единицы. Аннотация. Annotation: In the Russian language, the question of the number of parts of speech, their volume, the principles of their allocation is still controversial, which is difficult to teach the morphological level of the Russian language and requires the study of this issue from different approaches. The article is devoted to one of the controversial problems of the morphology of the Russian language - the partial status of modal words that differ from all traditionally allocated parts of speech in many ways. The article discusses the semantic and syntactic nature, the composition of modal words, as well as the criteria for their separation from other significant parts of speech.
