In practice, random errors in the excitations (amplitude and phase) of array elements cause undesired variations in the array patterns. In this paper, the clustered array elements with tapered amplitude excitations technique are introduced to reduce the impact of random weight errors and recover the desired patterns. The most beneficial feature of the suggested method is that it can be used in the design stage to count for any amplitude errors instantly. The cost function of the optimizer used is restricted to avoid any unwanted rises in sidelobe levels caused by unexpected perturbation errors. Furthermore, errors on element amplitude excitations are assumed to occur either randomly or sectionally (i.e., an error affecting only a subset of the array elements) through the entire array aperture. The validity of the proposed approach is entirely supported by simulation studies.

"Facial expressions can be regarded as an accurate reflection of the inner emotions people manifest towards the surrounding reality, filtered through their own emotional „strainer”. The source of these feelings lies not only in external influences, but also in a man's own thoughts, experiences, level of education and culture, as well as the degree of development of their own volitional and emotional capacities, in which muscle movements are merely just a simple mechanical means of rendering. The entire array of facial expressions acts as a unitary system which does nothing but complete the movements of the conductor's hands, filling them with meaning. We can say that this type of communication represents a way of combining the most delicate, vibrant, profound, and subtle feelings. It would be impossible to imagine that the movement of the arms, unsupported by the expression of the eyes and face or by the position of the body, were able to express a large array of emotions (joy, pain, sadness, rage, fear, surprise, or confidence) accurately and unequivocally. Keywords: facial expressions, mimicry, nonverbal communication, conductor, performance. "

The article states that the mode of intentionality, being a socio-cultural phenomenon, manifests itself in the language personality in the form of its socio-communicative attitudes. In comparison with subconscious sets of the “general cultural script” which motivate and support the functioning of a socio-cultural system as a whole, the sociocommunicative attitudes of the language personality are much more flexible, susceptible to multiple changes in the social network of communication. The socio-communicative attitudes of the language personality are studied with the units of analysis that can be called semantic accentuations embodied in the multiplicity and multidimensionality of links in the human associative-verbal network (AVN). Yu. N. Karaulov’s ideas about the complementarity of word-changing, word-forming and semantic variability in the AVN of the Russian language personality (RLP) are developed and tested in the article on new materials in connection with the multiplicity of ways of concentrating meaning. Using the latest experimental materials of the associative-verbal database SIBAS 1 (2007–2013) and SIBAS 2 (2014– 2021), the author puts to the test different techniques of vector analysis, both on the entire array of associates and within individual associative fields (AFs). These techniques include: an automatic generation (extraction from the entire array of associates) of the AFs of the studied word-forming units; a comparative psychoglossic analysis of the current diachronic dynamics of the AFs of the selected stimuli; constructing vectors of lexico-grammatical variation of the reactions in these AFs against the background of their semantic vectors; extracting particular word-changing and word-forming paradigms from the entire array of associates with a subsequent analysis of their contribution to the concentration of meanings, etc. Such methods show different entrances to the AVN for access to the same points of concentration of meaning and help to assess the contribution of the dissipated throughout the network associative grammar to the formation of semantic accentuations of the RLP. Hypothetically, it seems possible to imagine the construction of the fluctuation dynamics of an associative-verbal hypernetwork (AVHN) of the RLP on the combination of accentuation vectors of its subsystems (networks of word-changing, word-forming or semantic variability) in the current diachrony and historical retrospective.

The species problem is understood as a result of the contradiction between aspiration and inability to reduce diversity of species conceptions (SCs) to a single one. Any SC represents the natural spe-cies phenomenon in a certain cognitive situation and serves as a heuristic model of this phenomenon in the latter. SCs of various levels of generality emerge as a result of sequential multiple reduction cascade; the more reduction steps lead to a particular SC, the less it is adequate to the natural species phenomenon. The entire array of SCs can be represented by a conceptual pyramid, within which various SCs occur as particular interpretations of more general (inclusive) concepts and have no sense without contexts imposed by them. It is suggested that, in order to define natural “species in general,” a certain concept of biota should be fixed at the top of conceptual pyramid allowing to dis-tinguish between species and non-species (such as life form, syntaxa, guilds) phenomena. The on-tology of the natural species phenomenon is presumably determined by its essence, viz. species-hood. The latter is a part of the entire natural history of organisms, so its manifestations are group-specific and evolve with the evolutionary development of the structure of biota.

The objective assessment of the development level of information and communications technology (ICT) in education can support the government in formulating and implement ICT policies. The article first introduced the Entire-Array-Polygon (EAP) indicator method and then designed an evaluation indicator system which containing five first indicators and 31 secondary indicators. Finally, using the questionnaire survey data of 13 cities in Province W as an example, the EAP indicator method was used to carry out on the evaluation of ICT development level. The study drew the following conclusions: EAP indicator method can objectively assess the development level of ICT; the overall development level of ICT in the 13 cities in Province W is average and above, and most of them are level II. When using the EAP indicator method to assess the development level of ICT, experts do not need to determine the indicator's weight. Also, this method presents the evaluation results more concisely and intuitively, so it can be promoted as an essential method of evaluating on the development level of ICT in education.

Currently, the process is underway to bring the entire array of legislative sources defining the judicial system and the status of judges in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation. In the legislative strategy, it seems important to resolve the issue of the higher legal education required for judges. The article substantiates a broad approach to understanding the higher legal education required for a judge, within the framework of which both a higher legal education of a general nature (universal) and a legal education of a special orientation are permissible. This conclusion is based: a) on the basis of the circumstances of the development of the system of higher legal education in Russia, which acts as a social regulator of the formal qualification requirement for the education of a candidate for a judge; b) on the requirements of access to the judicial profession, which imply the possibility of entering the judicial profession for representatives of different professional groups.

This article analyses Australian media’s coverage of China’s efforts to contain COVID-19. The article is a critical discourse analysis of the major news stories, documentaries, opinions, and analyses published in the entire array of Australian media, including both television and radio programs from the taxpayer-funded public broadcaster the ABC, commercial media outlets such as Murdoch’s The Australian newspaper and Nine Entertainment’s The Sydney Morning Herald, and several tabloid papers. By identifying the key themes, perspectives, and angles used in these reports and narratives, this article finds that the more credible media outlets have mostly framed China’s efforts in political and ideological terms, rather than as an issue of public health. In comparison, the tabloid media—including commercial television, shock jock radio, and newspapers—have resorted to conspiratorial, racist, and Sino-phobic positions. In both instances, the coverage of China’s experience is a continuation and embodiment of the “China threat” and “Chinese influence” discourses that have now dominated the Australian media for a number of years.

Fifteen years ago, the British religious scholar Christopher Partridge proposed the concept of the occulture. Since then, it has been actively used as a working model for analyzing the forms of existence of esoteric elements in modern culture. When Partridge created his concept, he drew on the situation of the late 90s and early 2000s, a time when esoteric elements were entrenched in the culture. The distance between us and Partridge’s work was bound to make adjustments to his theory, to determine the extent of these adjustments, we turn to contemporary narratives that have become hubs of esoteric mythology. Analyzing the screen culture, Partridge separately focused on the case of “The X-files”. For him, this show was the “strongest metatext” that condensed various narratives of the occulture. In the year of Partridge’s book’s release, a new show, “Supernatural”, was released. This show has become a new meta-text, accumulating almost the entire array of esoteric mythology accumulated over the centuries of deviant religiosity...

The purpose of the study is to formulate the concept of “environmental and legal culture”, to identify its main properties and characteristics, to designate the methodological apparatus of its research; to substantiate the importance of an integrated approach and an axiological research method. The object of the research is the “environmental and legal culture” itself, and the subject is its structure, functions and processes of its objectification. Structural, functional, and comparative research methods became the methodological basis. The research results: the concept of “environmental culture”, “environmental and legal culture” was formulated; the necessity of applying an integrated approach and an axiological method to the study of the phenomenon of “environmental and legal culture” was substantiated; the interrelation of legal awareness, education and enlightenment, legal technique and political guidelines of the Concept of sustainable development as characteristics of the concept of “environmental and legal culture” and the phenomena that predetermine and characterize it, are revealed. The authors emphasize that the “environmental and legal culture” is formed primarily on the basis of the norms of Environmental law, and not on the entire array of humanitarian and natural science knowledge about the environment as a whole. The novelty of the work is determined by the approach itself to substantiating the requirement for an integrated approach and an axiological method to study the content of the concept of “environmental and legal culture”.
