This study aims to determine the effect of the leadership of the Islamic boarding school principal and motivation on discipline and its implications for the performance of ustadz in Islamic boarding schools in the city of Serang. The research method used is descriptive, (descriptive method definition). This study prioritizes in-depth analysis of the data and facts found. This type of research is intended to raise facts, circumstances, variables, and phenomena that are happening now and present what they are. The population in this study were all teachers/ustadz or teaching staff in boarding school-based educational institutions in the city of Serang as many as 444 people. The samples used were 215 people. So the author made the decision to use a sampling technique, namely the analytical method used is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The results of this study are as follows. Hypothesis testing is carried out based on the results of testing the Inner Model (structural model) which includes r-square output, parameter coefficients and t-statistics. To see whether a hypothesis can be accepted or rejected, among others, by paying attention to the significance value between constructs, t-statistics, and p-values. The hypothesis testing of this research was carried out with the help of the SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) 3.0 software. These values ​​can be seen from the bootstrapping results. The rule of thumb used in this study is t-statistic > 1.96 with a significance level of p-value 0.05 (5%) and a positive beta coefficient. The value of this research hypothesis testing can be shown in the table and the results of this research model can be described as shown in the hypothesis testing carried out on all samples that have been obtained from the questionnaire

Abstract - The development of online trading is based on the ease for businesses to promote their goods and does not require more costs because there is no need for a physical store. The activity of buying and selling goods and / or services through internet media is known as electronic commerce (hereinafter referred to as e-commerce).This study aims to analyze and obtain empirical evidence about the influence of the variable tax socialization, understanding of taxation, awareness of taxpayers, and tax sanctions on the compliance of e-commerce actors in the city of Semarang on the BliBli.com online marketplace platform. The population of this research is e-commerce individual taxpayers in the city of Semarang on the Blibli.com online marketplace platform. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling with voluntary sampling method. Samples obtained were 65 respondents. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0 analysis tools. This study shows that tax socialization has a negative and not significant effect on the compliance of e-commerce actors in fulfilling tax obligations. Understanding taxation and awareness of taxpayers has a positive and significant effect and tax sanctions have a positive but not significant effect on the compliance of e-commerce actors in meeting tax obligations.Keywords: E-Commerce Taxpayer Compliance

The purpose of this study was to analyze the direct effect of transformational leadership on work engagement and the indirect effect mediated by remuneration and educator motivation. This type of research is positivist research. The object of this research is the lecturer at State Polytechnic of Malang. The population in this study amounted to 182 lecturers of Malang State Polytechnic. The sampling technique used census techniques, all populations were used as research samples. The analytical tool used is the Partial Least Square Smart Program (PLS) based on the Variance Based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. The results show that Transformational Leadership affects Work Engagement, Remuneration does not mediate the effect of Transformational Leadership on Work Engagement, Educator Motivation mediates the Effect of Transformational Leadership on Engagement. Implementation of Remunerationneed to be repaired to meet related to the performance of supporting activities, indirect rewards, research performance, the performance of teaching/lectures, the performance of community service. Future researchers are expected to research teaching staff at all levels of office.

This study aimed to examine the effect of profitability, leverage, liquidity, and Activities Against Empirical Study of Financial Distress Basic Chemical Industry Sub-Sectors that registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange either simultaneously or partially. In this study for the Profitability variable using indicators: the ratio of Return On Assets (ROA), and Return On Equity (ROE) , for the Leverage variable using indicators: the ratio of Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) , to Liquidity variables using indicators: The ratio of cash (Cash Ratio), and the ratio of fast ( Quick Ratio ) , for variable activity using indicators: Inventory Turn Over ( ITO ), and Total Asset Turn Over ( TATO ) , to the variable Financial Distress use indicators: Financial Long Ratio (FLR) , Z-Score . . The population in this research is the basic chemical sub-sector industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2018-2020 period as many as 14 companies and the sample in this study is 12 . Hypothesis testing in this research was carried out using the Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) program. PLS is an alternative method of analysis with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on variance. Outer Model Testing. Outer Model testing is done through Convergent validity, Discriminant Validity, Average Variance Extracted (AVE), Reliability Test. Inner Model Testing (Structural Model Evaluation). Inner model testing is done through the analysis of R Square (R2), Multicollinearity, F-Square (F2), Q-Square (Q2) and Analysis of Large Effects. The results of hypothesis testing in this study indicate that Profitability, Liquidity, Leverage and Activity can affect Financial Distress by 94.50% both simultaneously with the most dominant influence on Financial Distress partially derived from Profitability.

This study aims to determine whether the cognitive perception, affective perception, and conative perception variables affect the people’s interest to become customers of Islamic banks in Bekasi City. It uses quantitative methods. As it uses the Slovin formula, the number of respondents was 100 out of a total population of 320,984 non-Muslim community in Bekasi City. The data analysis in this study adopted Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach and the data was processed using PLS 3.0. Based on the results of the data analysis, cognitive variables and affective variables do not have a significant effect on the people’s interest in becoming customers of Islamic banks in Bekasi City, while the conative variables have a significant effect on the people’s interest in becoming customers of Islamic banks in Bekasi City.

The purpose of this study is to analyze whether the compensation and supervisor support variables mediated by job satisfaction affect employee retention at PT Pradu. The population in this study were 55 employees of the non-academic division. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, namely the sampling technique where the number was the same as the population. The type of data used in this study uses primary data which is done by distributing questionnaires directly to Pradu employees. The research data analysis technique used structural equation modeling (SEM) with the Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) version 3.2.7 program. The results of data analysis found that the R-square of the compensation and supervisor support variables in explaining the job satisfaction variable was 0.701 or about 70% and 30% was explained by other factors outside of this study. While the compensation variable, supervisor support, and job satisfaction in explaining the employee retention variable amounted to 0.325 or about 32.5% and 67.5% was explained by other factors outside of this study. A total of 5 hypotheses were accepted and 2 hypotheses were rejected after testing with the limit of t-statistics> t-table 1.96 and P-Value ​

The method used in this study is a causal model survey method, collecting data using a questionnaire that was prepared in advance and distributed to 100 respondents. Analysis of parametric and non-parametric statistical data, using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square regarding research variables, instrument testing, normality testing, hypothesis testing, and discussion of hypothesis testing and path analysis results. This study uses path analysis to examine the pattern of relationships that reveal the effect of a variable or set of variables on other variables, both direct and indirect effects, assisted by Smart PLS Ver 3.0 software. The results in this study indicate that: 1) Company Policy directly has a positive and significant effect on Employee Satisfaction with a p-value of 0,002 < 0,05, 2) Company Policy directly has an insignificant effect on Employee Engagement with a p-value of 0.126 > 0.05, 3) Organization Culture directly has a positive and significant effect on Employee Satisfaction with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, 6) Company Policy with Employee Satisfaction as mediation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Engagement with a p-value of 0.030 < 0.05, 7) Organization Culture with Employee Satisfaction as mediation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Engagement with a p-value of 0.003 < 0.05. The performance management system (management system) is a process to identify, measure, and evaluate the performance of an employee in an institution. An institution needs to implement performance management system so that employees feel both fair and comfortable in their duties. The same is true in the institution of the WH Banda Aceh, an institution that has the responsibility to preserve the values of sharia in Aceh. Respondents in this study amounted to 65 people who are employees of the city of Banda Aceh WH.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel etos kerja islami dan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap komitmen organisasional yang akan berdampak pada kinerja pegawai WH Banda Aceh. Fenomena yang berkembang selama ini menunjukkan dalam melaksanakan eksistensinya, lembaga WH ini dirasa kurang menunjukkan kewenangan para petugas syariat islam dalam menjalankan tanggung jawabnya, sistem rekruitmen dan training yang tidak sesuai, jam kerja yang tidak teratur, serta kurangnya petugas WH sebagai penyidik dilapangan. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 65 orang yang merupakan pegawai WH kota Banda Aceh. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada responden dengan pengukuran skala Likert, yang kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan alat-alat penelitian seperti Partial Least Square (PLS). Dari data yang dikumpulkan dan kemudian diolah menunjukkan hasil penelitian bahwa etos kerja islami, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan komitmen organisasional berpengaruh secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai WH kota Banda Aceh.

Organizational change is directed at increasing the effectiveness and improvement of organizational capabilities. PT PLN (Persero) where one of its units is PLN UIP Sumbagut reorganized in 2018 which included several business functions. The purpose of this study is to understand the factors that affect employee commitment to change after reorganization, namely through trust, emotional attachment and perceived organizational support. The data processing method in this study is to use the causality method between variables with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Square (PLS) modeling equation. The measurement results showed that the Trust variable (X1) was 0,4% & insignificant with a p-value of 0,637>0,05, the Emotional Attachment (X2) variable was 86% & significant with a p-value of 0,016<0,05 and Perceived Organizational Support (X3) of 14,3% & significant with a a p-value of 0,000<0,05 is able to directly influence Employee Commitment to Change as part of an indicator of organizational climate which is very inherent in determining organizational success. The results of the evaluation show that in an effort to build a commitment to change, management needs to increase the intensity of communication among employees both formally and informally to improve the harmony of relationships between colleagues, the generation gap can be managed specifically with a relationship-oriented approach, namely by placing between generations in one work team. To increase trust, increase employee engagement through networking programs through work networking on work experience and the use of technology, increased organizational support that is felt can be done by cerating a work system that is supported by media aspirations of employees that area evaluated regularly, empowering employees to be more active in implementing changes and conduct special training proactively. In effort to minimize project failures (time delay) arising from due to supplier selection errors that have an impact on low performance and low potential for successful projects. This study aims to find out how strong the influence of supplier selection is right and correlates with good performance so thatthe project's success can be achieved. By using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) method in a PLS (Partial Least Square) application by examining the relationship between factors on the criteria of quality supplier selection that is expected to have an impact on the performance of a good supplier, and later can be related to the potential success of the project. Test results on Bootstrapping obtained the value of T-Value and P-Value in the 1st Hypothesis, namely, T-Statistics 0.829 and P-Value 0.407, the supplier performance variable (X2) did not affect the project success variable (Y1). The second hypothesis is, with a T-Statistical value of 2.094 and a P-Value of 0.037, the Supplier Selection (X1) has a significant effect on the project success variable (Y1). The third hypothesis is, with a T-Statistic value of 8.306 and a value of P-Value 0,000, Supplier Selection (X1) has a significant effect on the Supplier Performance variable (X2).
