Hiking has a dangerous risk of accidents and deaths of hikers. It is caused by health problems, lost, and other accidents. A LoRa-based smart armband was designed to detect hypothermia, hypoxia, and emergencies in hikers based on the above explanation. Furthermore, all activities can be monitored using a web accessed through smartphones or computers. If hypothermia and hypoxia are detected, the smart armband will remind the hiker. The IMU sensor will detect movement orientation and acceleration of the hiker during emergencies to be sent to the hiking post for evacuation. All activity data are stored in a micro-SD for evaluation. From the test results, the armband functioned at temperatures ≤35ºC, air pressure ≤ 560,2 mmHg, and acceleration ≥200 cm/s2. The test results also proved that the armband lasted up to 35 hours

Historically “scale effects” in the interpretation of tests with scale models in waves using Froude’s Law of Similitude are mostly associated with viscous effects. Nowadays, with a much more complete modelling of reality and a focus on higher order non-linear phenomena, scaling of model test results implies a wider range of assumptions than the validity of Froude’s Law. Our contribution to the conference is a visionary review of contemporary and future problems in the interpretation of these tests. In this context we will discuss the developments in test techniques, including the development of a new Two-Phase Laboratory facilitating seakeeping and sloshing tests at reduced air pressure.

Abstract: Awareness, Early Detection Capabilities, And Community Empowerment. This study aims to improve the ability of elderly people in the early detection of degenerative diseases in Posyandu Melati III Tegalrejo, Ceper, Klaten. While the specific purpose of this study was to describe the initial knowledge of early detection of degenerative diseases, describing the changes of knowledge and capacity for early detection of degenerative diseases post-counseling and training. This study used a quasi-experimental research design (queasy-experiment). The data source of this research is a group of elderly Posyandu Bed III Tegalrejo, Ceper, Klaten with the method of selecting a sample is total population. The tools used in this study was a questionnaire to evaluate the cognitive, psychomotor aspects SOP to evaluate and extension materials. Results showed that changes in knowledge and capacity for early detection of the elderly against degenerative diseases in Posyandu Melati III Tegalrejo, Ceper, Klaten. This is evident from the test results of paired t-test with a significance value of 0.000> 0.05. The provision of health education and training early detection of degenerative diseases can increase knowledge of the initial capital to raise public awareness about the importance of early detection capabilities against degenerative diseases so that the quality and degree of health of the elderly can be optimized.

The effectiveness of Air entraining agent (AEA) in concrete under low air pressure in the plateau area decreased. A type of new AEA, named MRE was synthesized to increase bubbles` stability in fresh concrete under low air pressure. The performance of MRE solution and concrete with MRE were tested under 60 kPa and 100 kPa compared with commercially gemini AEA (DCC). The test results showed that the foam volume of MRE and DCC solution under 60 kPa was reduced by 3% and 9% than under 100 kPa. The bubble liquid film strength of MRE is 63% higher than that of DCC. For concrete with MRE and DCC under 60 kPa, the air content was 2% and 16% lower, the relative dynamic modulus of concrete reduced by 6% and 15%, and the bubble spacing factor under 60 kPa increased by 17% and 39% respectively compared with that under 100 kPa. MRE can increase the freeze-thaw resistance of concrete under low air pressure without affecting concrete strength and is suitable for high altitude concrete.

This text outlines the role of risk-taking and self-harming behaviours in the development and detection of suicidal behaviour and mental health problems among adolescents. Risk-taking and self-harming behaviours are observable symptoms for underlying problems of emotion regulation, impulse control or interpersonal relationships and are sensitive risk markers for early detection of developmental trajectories of suicidal behaviour and mental health problems. Due to their easy accessibility and their sensitive prediction of mental health problems, risk-taking and self-harming behaviours have been included into programmes screening for adolescents at risk of suicidal behaviour in the general population. The principles and findings of those screening programmes are discussed. Professional screenings are time consuming for participants and create costs for the healthcare system, thus, longitudinal studies are needed to test whether screening programmes are effective in reducing suicidal behaviour among adolescents.

Introduction: Total PSA (tPSA) and free PSA (fPSA) are the most commonly used biomarkers for early detection of prostate cancer. Despite standardization efforts, many available PSA assays may still produce discordant results. In the present study, we compared four PSA assays calibrated to the WHO standards 96/670 and 96/668 for tPSA and fPSA, respectively. Methods: Within the scope of the Prostate Cancer Early Detection Study Based on a ‘‘Baseline’’ PSA Value in Young Men (PROBASE), we tested tPSA and fPSA in serum samples from 50 patients in the four different PROBASE sites using four WHO-calibrated assays from Roche (Elecsys, Cobas), Beckman-Coulter (Access-II) and Siemens (ADVIA Centaur). The comparison was performed using the Passing–Bablok regression method. Results: Compared to Access, the median tPSA levels for Centaur, Elecsys, and Cobas were +3%, +11%–20%, and +17%–23%, respectively, while for median fPSA levels the differences for Centaur, Elecsys, and Cobas were +49%, +29%–31%, and +22%, respectively. Discussion: Despite all investigated assays being WHO-calibrated, the Elecsys and Cobas tPSA assays produced considerably higher results than the Access and Centaur assays. Differences in fPSA-recovery between all investigated assays were even more pronounced. When applying the tPSA cutoff of 3.1 μg/L recommended for WHO-calibrated assays, the use of higher calibrated assays may lead to unnecessary prostate biopsies. Conversely, if the historical threshold of 4 μg/L is applied when using WHO-calibrated assays, it could lead to falsely omitted prostate biopsies.
