Local content mediated PBL model is a facility to make students active and also as a media to deliver massages in learning process that make an independent student. By knowing student’s learning style, the teacher can implement the suitable learning model. So it can increase the learning result. Based on the result of this research we found the effect of learning model of local content mediated PBL to the learning result. The learning result is different between students who have kinesthetic learning style and student who have auditory learning style. Given the existence interaction between learning models of local content mediated PBL and learning style to the student’s learning result it can be concluded that by knowing student’s learning style, the teacher can implement the appropriate lesson model that ultimately could increase students’ learning result.

Improving listening skills is one of urgent problems in education. Insufficiency of students’ linguistics and non-linguistics knowledge or background knowledge to comprehend ideas during listening could be solved by providing them with interactive tasks since to learn to listen is to learn to respond and to continue a chain of listening and responding. This study aims to uncover interactive teaching in a listening session at LBPP-LIA Kalimalang Jakarta. The subjects of the study were the students of Intermediate 3 together with their teacher. The object of the study were the aspects covered by classroom interaction: student-student and student-teacher interactions. Data collection consisted of audio-recording of the spoken exchange and note taking of all observed activities during the listening session.  As a qualitative study, the findings were described in terms of words. The result showed the teacher seemed to be aware that interactive tasks in pair/group work would benefit the students. The interaction patterns taken place among participants involved in a discussion reflected an interactive teaching. However, the teacher should have developed his roles. He needed to vary his techniques in maintaining the interaction, therefore, the students were motivated to volunteer information, comment, or questions.

The use of gamification has shown to be an interesting approach to engage users in MOOCs. In this context, different game strategies, elements, and mechanics are applied to help to improve the teaching/learning process. When designing teaching/learning methods, teachers must take into account both gamification techniques and learning styles in order to encourage students and to improve their learning performance, respectively. However, while applying gamification and at the same time keep taking into account the corresponding learning styles, we may find some kinds of incompatibilities. Thus, what this chapter covers is the conducted experimental analysis aimed at exploring the viability of merging gamer's profiles and learning styles in a single multidimensional user profile. The obtained results expose that, with this approach, we are able to identify groups of students so that, while designing teaching/learning methods, we can take into account both learning styles to improve the learning performance and gamification techniques to motivate and encourage the student.

The aim of the research is to explore the possibilities and methodological solutions of using kinaesthetic teaching style in the teaching/learning process in basic school and its impact on pupil involvement in learning activities and attainment of goals. Qualitative  and quantitative methods  - experienced teacher’s survey and student-trainee survey  after observation and analysys of lessons at school are used during the study. It is concluded that: 1)the kinesthetic style of learning involves different forms - tactile, movement-based learning, warm-up and relaxation exercises; 2)it is applicable at all stages of education and in teaching/ learning and extra-curricular activities; 3) it is effective during the classroom if it is consistent with the age of the pupils and the learning content. The survey concluded that majority of surveyed teachers positively evaluate the kinesthetic teaching/ learning style and quite often apply it in their lessons according to their competence.

Palavras-chave: Webconferência, Graduação CEDERJ, Educação a distância, Videotutoria. Web Conferencing to Support Mentoring Tool in Unndergraduate CEDERJ Courses - an Evaluation of the Training Program and Broadcast UseAbstract One of the challenges of distance education is to provide students with the closeness they find in classroom courses. To do so, web conferencing is used in undergraduate courses of CEDERJ as a collaborative tool that allows for greater integration between the actors of the teaching learning process. The aim of this study is to evaluate the implementation of this tool in such courses and its application form, through data collection of web conferencing rooms and a questionnaire applied to tutors and course coordinators who make use of the tool. The results show that the amount of of web conferencing increaes as the amount of training increases; and that the available rooms are still being underused. We conclude that it is necessary to empower all agents involved in the process to use the tool, and to expand strategies of conducting and planning methodologies for web conferencing. Keywords: Web conferencing, Graduation CEDERJ, Distance education, Video mentoring.
