There is a need to develop human resources who can play an active role in the intense competition of international society. We created a practice in which students acquire fundamental competency by working on electrical technologies in a virtual company.  By starting a mock company on their own, the first aim for students is to learn basic company management, the second aim is for them to acquire the skills required as a member of society, and the third aim is for them to gain knowledge about the latest technology in the field of electrical technology. Students learn about company management systems through participation in administrative procedures such as manufacturing, sales, personnel and accounting practices.  In order to establish a company related to electrical technology, it is necessary to analyze cutting-edge technologies in each field (electric power, electronics, robots, AI, IoT, entertainment, etc.), and second-year students can begin their investigation, which is the same as learning about research backgrounds previously conducted primarily in graduation research.  The mock company requires a collection of capital and performs all costs related to the business using a virtual currency called ANET Coins.  Teachers make investments as shareholders or request proposals from the students' company as virtual currency holders.  All information related to this practice is managed on the LMS (Learning Management System).  This practice is a chance to recognize and act in various situations and will become an opportunity for reflection.  The results of the student surveys regarding the improvement of competency, which working adults are required to have, showed that this practice is more effective than any prior experiences.  In this paper, we show the contents of the innovation practice on electrical technologies and describe the verification of the educational effect from student surveys.  This practice can be widely applied in the field of Education.

Perhaps more than ever in the European Union many groups and associations of companies and institutions are trying, in different ways, to play an active role in the economic scene of the Union. We verified, on the basis of information obtained, that the studies which precede the decision of a Financial Corporation to initiate the launching of a public offering on a certain economic unit/company or to acquire the shares of a Public Limited Company to take over control, are based on numerical mathematics, adapted mainly to the study of the future hypothetical profitability of the group resulting from the merging process or fusion. We present a proposal based on combinatorial pretopology that leads to an algorithm capable of solving our objective adequately.

Recent research undertaken in Australia and abroad suggests that the development of effective collaboration skills is a significant factor affecting the successful employment of graduate screen practitioners. This article outlines the results of a study that examined student response to the explicit teaching of collaboration skills in an Australian screen production course. The authors report on an empirical research project undertaken in 2015 and 2016 in the Department of Screen Arts at Curtin University, Western Australia. This involved two cohorts of second year screen production students (83 in total), and aimed to foster students’ teamwork skills. The activities and resources shared with students encouraged an interrogation of contemporary models of filmmaking collaboration, the use of group contracts to identify shared values of teamwork and the implementation of activities designed to improve students’ awareness of various collaboration styles. Outcomes were measured by both qualitative and quantitative means through student surveys administered at both the beginning and end of the unit of study. The results of these surveys suggest a change in student attitudes towards collaboration, particularly in regards to the value of communication. The authors aim to disseminate these findings and to encourage further discussion and study in this area. The article builds a case for more attention being placed on the explicit teaching of teamwork and collaboration skills in University screen production courses.

This paper encourages shifts in praxis to promote the thoughtful inclusion of creativity into higher education assignments in order to broaden and deepen student experience, and offer greater integration between required assignments and the complexity of students’ lives. Obstacles to integrating creativity into academia are also briefly explored. An example of what is meant by a creative assignment, from a second-year undergraduate Community Studies course, is offered, illustrating the transformative learning potential that can be stimulated through this application. Faculty observations and quotes from student surveys serve as additional evidence of students’ enthusiasm, growth, and personal empowerment achieved through this type of assignment.

The research aimed to find out the intrinsic meaning and pragmatic interests of the concept of Compulsory Company Manpower Report (CCMR) and how the principle basis of Law Number 7 Year 1981 affected philosophical validity in realizing industrial relation in accordance with Pancasila. The research applied a qualitative method with textual analysis. The media of research was CCMR, which was one of the minimum macro aspects (work norm) in labor inspection as regulated in Law Number 7 Year 1981 aiming to implement the policy of work opportunity expansion and work protection as mandated by Article 27 paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution. The results report the conditions of employment within a company having historical and meaningful substances as the 1945 Constitution states the existence of equality in law and government for every citizen, and each citizen shall uphold the law and government as a manifestation of an active role of citizenship. The applicability of a positive norm cannot be separated from its juridical, sociological, and philosophical requirements. Many opinions reveal that CCMR is only for operational administrative fulfillment. Meanwhile, there is a philosophical basis of CCMR that reaches to the idea about conceptions in work opportunity and labor protection to realize harmonious, dynamic, and fair industrial relations in accordance with Pancasila.

Introduction There is growing literature on increasing feedback from Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) and one approach is a score report. The purpose of this study was to implement and evaluate a score report for a second and fourth-year medical school OSCE. Methods We developed an electronic OSCE score report that displayed comments and performance by domain within and across stations (checklist items and rating scales were tagged to each domain). Our initial pilot released the score report after pass/fail decisions but subsequent iterations released the score report the same day as the exam. Our evaluation approach included both student surveys and focus groups. Results Students felt the OSCE score report was accurate, identified strengths and weaknesses, and would likely cause them to take future action, with second-year students more likely to act on the report than fourth year students. The thematic analysis revealed barriers and enablers to utilizing feedback as well as the power of the score report to reduce anxiety. Conclusions Our OSCE score report was simple to develop and implement the same day as an OSCE with an overall positive response from students with respect to accuracy and ability to use the information for future learning.

Spectrin is a membrane associated protein most of which properties have been tentatively elucidated. A main role of the protein has been assumed to give a supporting structure to inside of the membrane. As reported previously, however, the isolated spectrin molecule underwent self assemble to form such as fibrous, meshwork, dispersed or aggregated arrangements depending upon the buffer suspended and was suggested to play an active role in the membrane conformational changes. In this study, the role of spectrin and actin was examined in terms of the molecular arrangements on the erythrocyte membrane surface with correlation to the functional states of the ghosts.Human erythrocyte ghosts were prepared from either freshly drawn or stocked bank blood by the method of Dodge et al with a slight modification as described before. Anti-spectrin antibody was raised against rabbit by injection of purified spectrin and partially purified.

It has been almost universally adopted that dissolution of solids proceeds with development of uniform, continuous frontiers of reaction. However this point of view is doubtful / 1 /. E.g. we have proved the active role of the block (grain) boundaries in the main phases of cement, these boundaries being the areas of hydrate phases' nucleation / 2 /. It has brought to the supposition that the dissolution frontier of cement particles in water is discrete. It seems also probable that the dissolution proceeds through the channels, which serve both for the liquid phase movement and for the drainage of the incongruant solution products. These channels can be appeared along the block boundaries. In order to demonsrate it, we have offered the method of phase-contrast impregnation of the hardened cement paste with the solution of methyl metacrylahe and benzoyl peroxide. The viscosity of this solution is equal to that of water.
