The problem of poverty in JABODETABEK when measured by the percentage of poverty has decreased but tends to be slow in 2014-2018 and this problem is a challenge for the government because the poverty rate is still high in JABODETABEK, even though this region has high industrial activity in Java and is a location factor that affects close to the centre of government. This happens because economic growth is the most dominant anti-poverty instrument. This study uses panel data regression analysis technique with the data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The results obtained indicate that economic growth has a positive and significant effect on poverty. Suggestions for reducing poverty levels are that local governments need to encourage an increase in the rate of economic growth in the areas of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi.

The problem of poverty is a complex and multidimensional problem which covers various aspects in the human life, not least for local governments in the scope of West Java. The efforts to alleviate poverty must pay attention to the root problem of poverty itself. One of the strategic issues in the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan/ Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah (RPJMD) 2018-2023 is poverty and employment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of poverty and employment in West Java in 2017-2018 with a case study in Purwakarta Regency. The data used are secondary data from district/municipality in West Java in the 2014-2017 period using panel data regression analysis with the Random Effects Model (REM) and the results are as follows. First, the Open Unemployment Rate/ Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) has a positive but not significant impact on poverty levels. Second, the number of workers in wholesale, retail, restaurant and hotel sectors has a negative and significant impact on poverty levels. Third, the number of casual workers in agricultural sector has a positive and significant impact on poverty levels.

The population in this research is 11 Islamic Banking (BUS) by using total sampling technique in determine the sample. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the annual report of the bank period 2010 to 2016 published by each bank and matched with the data also by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis. Based on the result of F-test in this research, it can be concluded that the independent variables (operational efficiency) have a significant effect on the dependent variable (profitability). Meanwhile, the t-test shows that BOPO ratio has a significant negative effect on profitability. For the other three ratios, PPAP, NPF and FDR have no significant effect on profitability of Islamic Banks (BUS).Keywords: Islamic banks; Operational efficiency; Profitability.

The type of data is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The analysis technique used in this study is panel data regression analysis and is processed using the Eviews 9.0 program. The results of this study indicate that tax planning has a significant effect on earnings management with a negative coefficient direction. A reduction in tax rates (tax discounts) weakens the effect of tax planning on earnings management.

Infrastructure can be said to be the main driver for the growth of economic activity in every country in the world, therefore the importance of infrastructure cannot be underestimated. However, infrastructure development for Central Java is considered to be still in its early stages and as such, inadequate infrastructure could seriously hamper the economy. This study aims to investigate the effect that an increase in GDP has on infrastructure growth through data collected from various sources. The methodology used to analyze and review the information generated by the data is a quantitative method. The data used is secondary data on infrastructure in 35 districts in Central Java from 2010 to 2020. The analytical tool used in this study is panel data regression using the fixed effect method. Indicators to determine the progress of the national economy can be seen from the values seen in various GRDP in Indonesia. The results of this study conclude that the COVID-19 pandemic has affected several things, one of which is the country's economic growth. Planned infrastructure development can bring growth to the economy of a region as in the example shown above. Infrastructure development is one of the supporting factors to increase economic growth in a region. The variables in this study are education, unemployment, poverty, and income inequality — data source from BPS and the Ministry of Education and Culture. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis with cross-section 34 provinces and time series for 2015-2018. The results of the research obtained the random effect model, the best models. The results of data analysis show that education and poverty had a partial effect on income inequality in Indonesia, while unemployment had not to affect income inequality. Simultaneously, education, unemployment, and poverty affect income inequality in Indonesia. However, education, unemployment, and poverty can only explain 22.37% of the effect on income inequality in Indonesia. The rest is influenced by factors outside the model.
