The aims of this research is to know agrotourism sustainable development of Mangunan Garden. The reasons of developing agrotourism as such, it educates the purpose of keeping the relationship among local societies, interest sectors, and visitors. The Agrotourism of Mangunan Garden is inspired to improve the farmers earnings and the quality of rural society lives which then expletedly represent opportunity to educate th societies on agriculture an ecosystems. Agrotourism sustainable development of Mangunan Garden, embrases: geography, topography, elimate, type of vegetation (pine forest), in addition to destination which withdraw to visit, are Elephant Dlingo Cave, Pine Forest, Gardu Pandang, Cerme Cave, Makam Raja-Raja Panjimatan. In the conditions of modern challenges, the issues of infrastructure support for the sustainable development of territories of all levels and, above all, their primary basis - municipal formations, acquire special significance. The research is based on the hypothesis of the relationship between the quality of infrastructure provision of municipalities, including their budgetary and managerial potential, and the sustainable social and economic development of the territory. Accordingly, the authors consider models of interaction between all subjects of economic and social ties of territorial formation, their innovative component and the nature of inclusion in the ensuring of sustainable development of municipalities. The recommendations on the formation of the financial security infrastructure with a view to ensure sustainable development of municipalities are also presented.

Harmonization of the relationship between society, economy, and nature requires both the development of more environmentally friendly technologies or restrictions on its exploitation, as well as a change in the way of life and work. This is particularly about improving the quality of work to reduce energy consumption and/or pollution. In this context, the issue of the organizational climate that determines job satisfaction and increasing cooperation towards sustainable development is of particular importance. The article presents the results of research on the organizational climate carried out on a selected group of students employed in textile industry enterprises. The analysis of the results allows us to state the high assessment of the climate at work in its individual spheres and a high level of trust in the management of the organization.

The relationship between economic affluence, quality of life, and environmental implications of production and consumption activities is a recurring issue in sustainability discussions. A number of studies examined selected relationships, but the general implications for future development options to achieve environmentally and socially sustainable development of countries at different levels of per capita resource footprints, quality of life, and income have not yet been investigated in detail. In this study, we use a global dataset with 173 countries to assess the overall relationship between resource footprints, quality of life, and economic development over the period of 1990–2015. We select the material footprint and carbon footprint and contrast them with the Human Development Index, the Happiness Index, and GDP per capita. Regression analyses show that the relationship between various resource footprints and quality of life generally follows a logarithmic path of development, while resource footprints and GDP per capita are linearly connected. From the empirical results, we derive a generalized path of development and cluster countries along this path. Within this comprehensive framework, we discuss options to change the path to respect planetary and social boundaries through a combination of resource efficiency increases, substitution of industries and sufficiency of consumption. We conclude that decoupling and green growth will not realize sustainable development if planetary boundaries have already been transgressed.

As the largest developing country, China’s fiscal and taxation policies on environmental protection and sustainable development will be of primary importance not only for China, but also the world. By taking a critical look at the development of Chinese environmental fiscal and taxation policy, we try to determine how best to coordinate the relationship between the environment and the economy in order to improve quality of life and the sustainability of China’s resources and environment.

This article describes the study of existence of the relationship between individual factors of sustainable development from a qualitative point of view. It is revealed that new essential characteristics of the “middle class”, connected with sustainable development, are being formed. This makes it necessary to display them by introducing a new concept of “creative middle class”. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between improving the environment, the quality of life of the population, the processes of formation of a creative middle class and the results of socio-economic policies to ensure sustainable development of the territory. This study was conducted on the basis of a semi-formalized mass interview. Sustainability is considered for two regions of Siberia (Kemerovo and Tomsk regions), which differ in the specialization of economies: the mining region and the innovation region. In the RIA rating of the Russian regions on the quality of life, these regions, despite the different specialization of economies, occupy fairly close positions, being in the middle of the rating table. The hypothesis regarding the role of the creative middle class as the main subject and the main driver of socio- economic transformations for ensuring the sustainable development of the region in the long term and improving the quality of life of the population has been partially confirmed. This can be explained by the fact that the process of forming a creative middle class is at the initial stage. Manifestations of innovative features in the economic and social activity of the subjective middle class in the Tomsk region were not identified.

Development strategy of the world's largest cities in recent years "turned green" substantially and include as priority the maintenance of the quality of the environment and reduce the risks posed by global climate change. The article analyzes the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (2016-2030) from the standpoint of sustainability and quality of life of communities, primarily in the big cities. Proceeding from these positions the authors consider the relationship and interaction between different Goals, targets and indicators for their implementation. Particular attention is paid to international indices of city prosperity and cities outlook, the global cities index. Constructive methodological and instrumental basis for solving urban problems is the concept of ecosystem services and payments for these services. The largest cities and megalopolises should be prioritized and pioneer objects in the system of payments for ecosystem services or compensation for the loss of the quality of these services, which eventually should become nationwide and provide a sustainable long-run development of the country.

The aim of the article is to show the relationship between quality and sustainable development of road freight transport. The macro and microeconomic perspective of the possibilities of impacting the greening of transport, which is a development of the sector and entrepreneurs, was presented. Recommendations regarding the development of road freight transport including the EU and Polish transport policy were discussed. The possibilities for the development of road carriers in the conditions of transport greening, with particular emphasis on pro-quality activities were introduced. The analysis of the problem was based on literature studies, statistics were also taken into account. In addition, the results of primary studies regarding the impact of the sustainable development principle and the quality of road freight transport services were presented. The research was conducted on the basis of a questionnaire, and in the interpretation of the results, position, variability and one-dimensional analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used.

In this paper we focus on the concept of smart city, defined as cities where investments in human and social capital and infrastructure, along with ICT progress and innovation fuel the sustainable economy and stimulate growth in quality of life, with a focus on smart natural resource management. We envision smart city as a concept that highlights important aspects of sustainability, such as the need for responsible resource management, energy efficiency and citizen involvement. Given the current understanding of the smart city concept, it is unclear whether it has the necessary features to ensure sustainability. We believe that this aspect is due to the fact that smart cities are extremely complex and interdependent. Their study and analysis would therefore require an inter- and transdisciplinary approach that allows an adequate overview of this concept, to the convergence of several areas, such as urban development, technology, economics, engineering and social sciences, etc. We believe that this research will contribute to the already existing theories of smart cities and will help maximize the potential for this smart city concept to be a viable solution for sustainable development in our increasingly urbanized world, especially as the latest statistics confirm an upward trend in EU-level indicators on sustainable cities and communities. Moreover, the theory of smart growth is being discussed, but not as an antagonist alternative, but rather as an addition integrative to the concept of sustainable development of smart cities. In our opinion, smart city solutions would not be efficiently implemented and helpful to communities in absence of a vision for the smart and sustainable future.
