The article analyzes the peculiarities of the use of ICT during distance learning. Features of distance learning have been considered, namely its elements, subjects and set of means of realization. The difference between the concepts of "distance learning" and "online learning" has been analyzed and their common and distinctive features have been identified. The advantages and disadvantages of using ICT in the process of distance learning have been highlighted. The main advantages include flexibility (the ability to present the course material based on training, abilities of students), the ability to implement the latest pedagogical, psychological, methodological developments, convenience (the ability to study at a convenient time, in a certain place, education without separation from the main work, no time constraints for mastering the material), modularity (breaking down the material into separate functionally complete topics), costeffectiveness, the ability to simultaneously use a large amount of educational information by any number of students, interactivity (active communication between group students and teacherі), no geographical boundaries for education. The world practice of development and use of ICT in education shows a tendency to change the traditional forms of organization of the educational process in the information society. Therefore, information and communication technologies are highly effective tools that allow to give a large amount of information to a greater extent than traditional sources of information, and in a sequence that corresponds to the logic of cognition and the level of perception of a certain contingent of students. Having solved the problems with ICT, it will be possible to use new technologies and raise the learning process to a qualitatively higher level.

The article considers the prospects of digitalization of education, in particular in terms of forming a strategy for the marketing of educational services. The influence of the introduction of distance technologies in combination with online learning on the elements of the marketing mix of the educational service is analyzed. The marketing complex is proposed to be considered as a set of eight interconnected elements inherent in the service sector: product, price, promotion, distribution, material environment, physical evidence, process and personnel. It is established that the greatest impact of digitalization of education is the material environment of educational services, which is almost completely transformed into a virtual environment: material facilities and equipment will be replaced by platforms for video conferencing and distance learning platforms, which will reduce the cost of educational services and will enable educational institutions to finance funds for development, in particular, the part of the environment that should remain material (laboratories for training medical students, pharmacists, training facilities for actors, etc.). There will be significant changes in the organization of the educational process, in particular, the problems of organizing this process in space will disappear, learning will involve a combination of online communications and the use of distance learning platforms, there will be multichannel communication with teachers, geographical barriers will disappear, including in the organization of meetings with professional specialists and stakeholders, the level of comfort will increase due to the integration of learning in the home space. The contact staff of the educational service will also feel the changes: the transition online will require teachers to develop new soft skills and hard skills, the desire to accept change. Digitalization in education is proposed to be considered as a promising area that will bring the educational service to a new level, will provide benefits to both educational institutions and applicants. Successful digitalization requires overcoming a number of problems, including problems with Internet traffic and resistance to change, but these problems can and must be overcome.

The problem of introducing distance learning in primary school is actualized by the development of social networks and Internet technologies, which open unlimited horizons for their application in educational activities. In addition, the introduction of quarantine in Ukraine requires primary school teachers to find ways to effectively master the program material. Among such ways is distance learning. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the specifics and possibilities of organizing the educational process in primary school with the use of distance learning. In the process of scientific research methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization and systematization were used. Distance learning in primary school is defined as a form of organization and implementation of the educational process, in which the subjects of learning (teachers and students) in the online mode carry out educational interaction in principle and mainly extraterritorially. In the context of reforming modern Ukrainian education, a number of e-platforms have been created for the organization of distance learning for primary school students. An effective commercial platform for distance learning is the service "My Class", which contains online courses from 1st to 11th grade, which contain lessons that integrate theoretical (test presentation of content) and practical (individual tasks that can be solved independently of each other, a block of tasks that need to be solved sequentially, guidelines) blocks. Result. Emphasis is placed on the requirements to be met by a primary school teacher when organizing distance learning in primary school during the quarantine period and it is suggested to advise parents who will work remotely with junior students in the initial stages of distance learning, gradually transferring activity to children.

The paper covers the problem of distance learning of English as a Second Language (ESL) in higher agro-technical educational institutions in Ukraine. Integration of distance ESL learning into the educational process in higher agro-technical educational institutions has been considered from the perspective of its current inevitability due to the COVID-19 quarantine. The most effective ways of implementing online learning of ESL into the curricula have been discussed. Synchronous and asynchronous learning have been considered. Having analyzed the forms of online teaching as well as the requirements for their implementation, teaching the approved course materials online in multiple environment (combined synchronous and asynchronous learning) has been defined to be the most effective one. The authors’ experiences in designing and teaching synchronous and asynchronous distance learning ESL classes for non-linguistic specialties in higher agro-technical educational institutions provide an insight into the characteristics, benefits, and limitations of these two modes of distance learning. Effective synchronous distance learning classes can be modeled according to the teaching style and course materials used in traditional classes through use of the Internet. Asynchronous distance learning classes require quite a different model built around provided course materials and short «lectures» delivered via streaming audio and graphics. However, lecturing cannot provide effective interaction, which is vital in ESL learning. Thus, the approach must be significantly redefined and multiple environment should be created for delivering effective distance learning ESL classes.
