Purpose. Determine the optimal rate of nitrogen fertilizers for fertilizing energy plantations of willow  before the start of the second three-year cultivation cycle in the Central Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Research methods. Field, analytical, statistical. Results and discussion. Appling of ammonium nitrate contributed to the active beginning of the growing season and the increase in the plant mass in hight. At the end of the first year of vegetation, the tallest plants were formed in variety ‘Tora’ using N70 – 4.67 m, which is more than in the control version (without fertilizer) by 0.71 m, or 16%. For N35, the average plant height was 4.32 m, which is 8% more than the control. The formation of more tall plants to restore more nitrogen was found in the variety’Ternopilska’. Hight of annual plant of this variety in control was 3.68 m, for application N35 – 4.08 m, and for dose N70 – 4.24 m. At the end of the second growing cycle, the average height of plants of the variety ‘Tora’ in  control variant was 6.29 m. The highest plants with the distribution of ammonium nitrate in the maximum dose (N70) were 6.78 m, which is more than in control variant by 8%. For the application of N35, the height of plants of the plantation was 6.52 m and 5.79 m. In this case, the decrease in the share affects the height of plants up to 15.4%, and the share affects the varietal characteristics of growth up to 82.9%. Also nitrogen had a positive effect on biomass growth. The yield of dry biomass of three-year-old energy willow plantation in the other part of cyclic production under control (without fertilizers) was 65.3  t/ha (21.8 t/ ha/year) of dry biomass in ‘Tora’ variety, and 55.6 t/ha (18.5 t/ha/year) in ‘Ternopilska’ variety. In the variants with the use of ammonium nitrate in the dose of N35, the indicator increased due to the control in variety ’Tora’ by 2.8 t/ha and by 3.7 t/ha in the variety ’Ternopilska’. Increasing the nitrogen dose to N70 increases the yield of dry biomass in the varieties’Tora’ and ’Ternopilska’ by 8.8 t/ha and 9.3 t/ha, respectively, compared to the control. Conclusions. The application of ammonium nitrate and varietal characteristics have a significant impact on the yield of energy biomass of willow. Of the two studied varieties of willow on chernozem soil of the Central Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, the variety’Tora’ was noted for more intensive growth and higher productivity during the second three-year growing cycle. Plants of both varieties are characterized by higher yields for nitrogen application at a dose of 70 kg/ha a.i.

The article presents the results of field research conducted in 2018-2019 on leached Chernozem of the Volga forest-steppe. The objects of research are varieties of spring wheat-Tulaykovskaya 10, Yoldyz and Tulaykovskaya 108. At different seeding rates of 5.0 and 5.5 million germinating seeds per ha, the effect of mineral fertilizers on 1 ha was studied. They were represented by a complete mineral fertilizer (azofoska) and fertilizing with a mineral nitrogen fertilizer in the tillering phase at doses of 30, 60 and 90 kg of AD/ha against this background. Analysis of the yield of spring wheat varieties indicates that the harvest of grain variety Yoldyz in variants with a seeding rate of 5.5 million germinating seeds per ha against the background of the application of ammonium nitrate at a dose of 60 kg of DA (2.52 t/ha) was superior to other varieties Tulaykovskaya 10 and Tulaykovskaya 108 (2.51 and 2.46 t/ha). The maximum increase in seed productivity when adding ammonium nitrate in the tillage phase of the crop was in Tulaykovskaya 10 variety (0.34 t/ha), the lowest in the Yoldyz variety (0.06 t/ha) compared to the variant with amofoska application in the pre-sowing cultivation. When increasing the doses of nitrogen fertilizers there was an increase in the water content of all the studied varieties by 1-3 PCs. While increasing the seeding rate from 5.0 to 5.5 million germinating seeds per 1 ha the number of grains in the ear changed on average for varieties by 1-2 PCs. Of all the studied varieties, the largest mass of 1,000 grains was in the Yoldyz variety (40.56 g) after azofoska application in the presowing cultivation + N60 during tillering at a seeding rate of 5.0 million germinating seeds per 1 ha, the smallest in the Tulaykovskaya 108 variety (37.87 g) after azofoska application at a dose of 0.15 t/ha at a seeding rate of 5.0 million   germinating seeds per 1 ha.

The study was carried out in 2018 and 2019 in the southern forest-steppe area of the Omsk region. The soil of the experimental plot was chernozem-meadow, medium and heavy loamy. The crop rotation was as follows: ‘black’ fallow – spring wheat – spring wheat – spring wheat – barley, the forecrop was second wheat. It was a two-factor field trial, the area of the plots was 50 and 25 m2, with three-fold sequence. The purpose of the current work was to estimate the effect of nitrogen fertilizer as a basic one and in the form of top dressing combined with fungicidal and herbicidal treatment on the productivity of spring wheat grain. There was identified a positive effect of the factor of nitrogen fertilization N35 on the productivity of spring wheat grain when sown in ‘black’ fallow. In 2018 there was productivity increase on 0.43, and in 2019 it was 0.74 t/ha, or 25.1 and 39.2%, respectively, according to the control. The utilization of the mixture of herbicides and carbamide (5 kg/ha) had only a tendency to productivity increase in comparison with herbicide control. The additional top dressing of 5 and 10 kg/ha of carbamide in ‘head formation period’ increased productivity by 0.32 and 0.42 (in 2018) and 0.45 and 0.47 t/ha (in 2019). The best results were obtained from the combination ‘herbicides + carbamide (tillering) + fungicide (head formation)’, the average productivity increase was 0.60 (in 2018) and 1.83 t/ha (in 2019).

In order to maximize the potential of productivity of spring barley varieties, it is important to optimize the conditions for plant growth and development, which are, first of all, provided by the latest intensive agricultural technologies, which provide for the correct placement of crops in crop rotation after the respective precursors; optimal supply of plants with nutrients, taking into account their content in the soil; fractional application of nitrogen fertilizers during the growing season by phases of growth and stages of organogenesis; the use of retardants, integrated protection of plants against weeds, pests, diseases, timely and quality implementation of all agrotechnical measures. Research to study the effectiveness of different terms of spring barley sowing and doses of nitrogen fertilizers were conducted during 2018 - 2019 in the conditions of the research field of VSAU v. Agronomichne of Vinnytsia region on gray ashed soils. Weather conditions during the years of the research differed from the average long-term data with high temperature conditions and low rainfall, and accordingly the most favorable year for the growth and development of spring barley was 2018. It is shown the 2-years investigation results on study the effect of sowing dates and nitrogen fertilizations on productivity elements and quality indexes of spring barley grain under conditions of Right-Bank Forest-Steppe on gray forest soils. Accordingly, the highest levels of harvest of barley cultivars at different sowing dates were obtained under conditions of 2018. t should also be noted that the delay of sowing by 6 days in the years of research leads to a decrease in the yield level on average for all varieties by 0,42 – 0,64 t / ha, and a delay of 14 days leads to a decrease by 1,37 – 1,80 t / ha. The use of nitrogen fertilizers leads to an increase in the yield level of both cultivated varieties, and the highest crop yields of the Svarog variety were obtained in the experiment where the background + N60 was applied in the foliar fertilization (4,87 t / ha), and the lowest respectively in the control variant 3,16 t /ha, in the Armax variety a similar situation is observed, however, with lower indicators respectively 4,54 and 3,06 t / ha. The lowest values of protein content in the grain were obtained in the control variant where only N17 P17 K17 was applied to rows when sowing, and the use of nitrogen fertilization leads to an increase in this indicator and the highest values obtained in the variant of experiment 4, where Background (N17 P17 K17) + N60 in the foliar fertilization on the feeding phase of the tube exit. Key words: spring barley, nitrogen fertilizers, elements of the crop structure, yield, quality of production.

Abstract The paper aims to assess the use of various forms of nitrogen fertilizers (seedbed dressing and foliar dressing) in barley cultivation in the steppe and forest-steppe zones of the Omsk region. The research objects were barley, nitrogen fertilizers, ordinary steppe chernozem, forest-steppe meadow chernozem. Variety – Sasha. The most agronomic efficiency in the steppe zone, 5.52 kg of grain derived from 1 kg of fertilizer nitrogen, was yielded in response to the use of N30 in the form of ammonium nitrate and urea during sowing. N60 (seedbed dressing + foliar fertilizing) resulted in a reimbursement of 1 kg of fertilizer active agent in the maximum amount of 4.44 kg (ammonium nitrate + urea, ammonium nitrate + UAN). The greatest reimbursement in the forest-steppe zone, 11.11 kg of grain from 1 kg of fertilizer nitrogen, resulted from the use of N30 in the form of ammonium nitrate and UAN during sowing. N60 (seedbed dressing + foliar dressing) resulted in a reimbursement of 1 kg of active agent in the maximum amount of 11.11 kg of barley (ammonium nitrate + urea). The richest harvest of barley was taken in following seedbed dressing and supplementary fertilizing applied together during the growing season in a total dose of 60 kg/ha. In this case, the yield did not reliably depend on the forms of nitrogen fertilizers used; a greater effect resulted from nitrogen fertilizers in the forest-steppe zone.

Field experiments to study the effectiveness of the use of mineral fertilizers, a fungicidal seed disinfectant and an inoculant on soy were conducted in 2018-2020 on a typical heavy-loamy chernozem of the production farm "Levoberezhnoye" LLC "EkoNivaAgro", which is in the central part of the Voronezh region. The objects of research were soybean variety OAK Prudence (originator of the University of Guelph, Canada), inoculant Nitragin Zh (Fragaria, Argentina), fungicidal seed disinfectant Delit Pro, CS, pyraclostrobin 200 g/l (BASF, Germany). Mineral fertilizers were represented by ammonium nitrate (34.4%), ammophos (12:52) and diammophos (10:26:26). Soybeans were cultivated using the No-Till direct seeding technology. The sowing of soybeans was carried out with an Amity Single Disc Drill equipped with single-disc coulters with a row spacing of 38 cm. The forecrop of soy was corn for grain. The application of mineral fertilizers was carried out simultaneously with sowing in the row spacing. The yield of soybean grain in the control variant (without the use of agrochemicals) was the highest in the favorable moisture content of 2018, 1.50 t / ha, and almost the same in 2019 and 2020 – 1.24 and 1.23 t/ha, respectively. Average for 2018-2020 the yield of soybean grain in the control variant was 1.32 t / ha. The maximum grain yield was obtained on the variant with the combined use of the inoculant Nitragin Zh and ammonium nitrate at a dose of 200 kg / ha – 2.08 t / ha. The increase compared to the control variant was 0.76 t/ha or 57.0%. The greatest influence on the technological parameters of soybean seeds was exerted by pre-sowing inoculation of seeds and post-sowing application of nitrogen fertilizers at a dose of N70. Inoculation provided an increase in the protein content in soy seeds by 4.1%, and the application of N70 by 4.3% in absolute terms compared to the control. The effect of fertilizers application by the method of fertigation with drip irrigation during seabuckthorn growing in the nursery was estimated. The research has been carried out in the nursery field, in the forest-steppe zone of Altai Krai in 2019-2020. The soil on the experimental plot is gray-forest, reaction of the medium pH 5.8-5.9. The content of nitrate nitrogen was in the range of 7.8-9.8 mg/kg in the control variant; after fertilization, these values rose to 87.9 mg/kg. Nitrate nitrogen was determined by the ion-selective method. The soil at a high level is provided with mobile phosphorus 342-453 mg/kg and potassium 181-355 mg/kg - determined according to Chirikov. The research object – is one-year-old seabuckthorn trees of Altaiskaya cultivar. Urea was applied as nitrogen fertilizer in three rates of the active ingredient (40, 60, and 80 kg/ha). Double superphosphate (30 kg/ha) and potassium chloride (30 kg/ha) were used as the background. The soil moisture level was maintained at 70-80% of the LWC. The effectiveness of fertilizers was assessed by the marketable yield of two-year-old seedlings and their quality indicators. The measurements were carried out in the fall, after excavation. According to the values of the parameters of the aboveground part, the dose of nitrogen fertilizer of 60 kg/ha turned out to be the best option. At the same time, the seedlings had a height of 89.5 cm, the number of branches was 4.4 pcs., The diameter of the trunk was 8.4 cm, which is 15.4 cm, 0.5 pcs. and 1.3 mm above the control. The yield of seedlings of the first commercial grade in the experiment averaged 164 pieces. (82.8%), the maximum is marked on the N60P30K30 variant 190 pcs. (93.8%). Control without the use of fertilizers in all respects is significantly inferior to options with fertilizers. Thus, the use of nitrogen fertilizers has a positive effect on the quality of the seabuckthorn planting material. As a result, the utilization of nitrogen fertilizers has a positive effect on the quality of the seabuckthorn plant material, while higher concentrations become unprofitable compared to low ones due to high costs and insignificant differences in the quality of trees

The productivity of agricultural crops is the most variable and integral indicator of their vital activity, which accumulates their genetic potential, soil fertility, weather conditions and components of agricultural technology. Soybean under optimal growing conditions (the reaction of the soil is close to neutral, sufficient phosphorus and potassium nutrition, the use of nitraginization) assimilates from the air about 70 % of the total nitrogen requirement. Therefore, it is believed that it is enough to apply only a starting dose of nitrogen fertilizers (20–40 kg/ha a. s.), to get a high yield with good indicators of grain quality. The results of studies of the influence of long-term (8 years) application of different doses and ratios of fertilizers in field crop rotation on podzolized chernozem in the conditions of the Right -Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine on the yield and quality of soybean seeds preceded by spring barley were presented. It was found that crop yields could be increased by 18–77 % owing to different doses, ratios and types of fertilizers. The highest indicators of seed yields for three years of the research (3,02 t/ha) were obtained under the application of mineral fertilizers at a dose of N110P60K80 per 1 ha of crop rotation area, including under soybean – N60P60K60. Exclusion of the nitrogen component from the complete fertilizer (N60P60K60) reduced its yield by 26 %, phosphorus – by 17, and potassium by 11 %. There was no significant decrease in soybean yield in the variant of the experiment with a decrease in the proportion of potassium in the composition of complete mineral fertilizer (N60P60K30) for three years of study. The largest mass of 1000 soybean seeds was formed at doses of N60К60 fertilizers, and their protein content — under the application of complete mineral fertilizer in doses of N60P60K60 and N60P60K30.

Introduction of complex mineral fertilizer of an azofoska in combination with ammonium nitrate and urea to early ripe potatoes of Zhukovsky and Red Scarlett variety on the planned productivity of 40 t/hectare has allowed to achieve a goal. At the same time in control option without fertilizers the productivity was 23,2-24,8 t/hectare. Use of encapsulated urea has led to decrease in productivity and level of profitability by 26,3-30,9%. Early ripe potatoes of Zhukovsky and Red Scarlett variety on natural fertility of the chernozem leached in the northern forest-steppe of the Tyumen region have created average yield of 23,2-24,8 t/hectare for years of researches. Use of complex mineral fertilizer of an azofoska in combination with ammonium nitrate and urea on the planned productivity of 40 t/hectare has led to increase in productivity on the first variety to 39,5 on the second variety up to 41,4 t/hectare. Introduction of the encapsulated urea has led to decrease in productivity of the early ripe potato tubers studied. At the same time, the peel was gentle and when cleaning it was strongly injured. As to the content of starch (11,9-12,6%) at both varieties the big difference between ex-perience options isn't revealed. The similar picture was observed also according to tastes of tubers. It has made 3,2-3,5 points at Zhukovsky variety and 3,4-3,7 points at Red Scarlett's variety. Profitability level in con-trol option at Zhukovsky variety was 157,3%, at Red Scarlett's variety – 140,5%. In options with non-encapsulated ammonium nitrate and urea the first variety got 172,6-184,1%, second variety – 190,4-207,2%. In option with encapsulated urea at varieties under study the profitability level has decreased 26,3-30,9.
