Purpose: An analysis of literature review on benefits, opportunities, challenges, prospects of online teaching in higher education gives an insight into various factors leading to the effective implementation of online teaching in higher education institution. An honest attempt is made for enabling the teachers to understand these factors for adopting online teaching in higher education institutions. Design/Methodology/Approach: This study is a qualitative literature review, which is based on secondary data. This data is collected from various websites, journals, research papers, articles, several surveys, and reports. Findings/Results: Based on detailed analysis of literature review, assisted in finding out research gap and prospective research proposal which will help in the formulation of the future research study in the area of online teaching in higher education. Originality/Value: This paper analyses and identifies the research gap after a detailed analysis of the literature review. Based on the research gap, specifies the research proposal for further study. As digital media permeate all aspects of our lives, achieving distance learning today, and in the future, can be considered inevitable, for the effectiveness of which it is necessary to provide appropriate preconditions. After the sudden outbreak of the pandemic in late 2019 and early 2020 caused by the appearance of the COVID19 virus, faculties around the world were forced to reorganize and move to online classes as soon as possible, in order to enable students to continue the academic year. The aim of this paper is to point out the basic assumptions of successful online teaching in higher education, which is assumed to continue to exist in some form after the end of the pandemic. The given assumptions will be presented in the form of pointing out the specifics of online teaching, which are significantly related to the success of students in it. It is possible to single out three groups of such specifics: individual specifics of the students themselves, characteristics of online teaching and characteristics of the higher education institution, which are described in more detail in the paper. Such teaching primarily implies adequate preparation of teachers and students in terms of developing appropriate individual competencies. In addition, an important factor of successful online teaching implies the existence of appropriate institutional support at the level of a specific higher education institution in its implementation. The given recommendations can be a good starting point for the implementation and improvement of the quality of online teaching in higher education in our country.

Gender budgeting calls for including a gender perspective at all levels of governmental budgetary processes. While the literature on gender budgeting is interdisciplinary and covers a wide geographical range, it remains fragmented. This study uses a literature review to examine the current discourse on gender budgeting and to elicit avenues for future research. Our review shows that studies focus either on emerging economies, such as India or South Africa, or on countries in Europe. Drawing on an analytical framework, we find that most studies scrutinize the ex ante stages of gender budgeting, whereas less is known about the concurrent and ex post stages. Moreover, because little is known about the outcome and impact of gender budgeting, governments do not know what instruments function best in different settings. Given their ex ante focus, most studies on gender budgeting often either remain descriptive or analyse secondary data. Despite scholars from different disciplines contributing to the field of gender budgeting, several ‘blank spots’ remain, particularly in public sector accounting. Points for practitioners While current gender budgeting projects tend to focus on the ex ante stage of gender budgeting, future practitioner attention needs to focus on the equally important concurrent and ex post stages, which have received less attention thus far. An increasing number of governments worldwide are implementing gender budgeting projects. Governments need to evaluate the outcome and impact of these projects in a timely fashion, aiming at reducing structural inequalities related to gender. Gender budgeting is willingly adopted in times of prosperity and stability or when the scope of projects appears manageable. To avoid negative impacts on their achievements, policy makers need to put gender budgeting on the political agenda and institutionalize it in times of instability and crisis.

Developing countries face various challenges in implementing bio-risk management systems in the laboratory. In addition, educational settings are considered as workplaces with biohazard risks. Every activity in a laboratory facility carries many potential hazards that can impact human health and the environment and may cause laboratory incidents, including Laboratory Acquired Infections (LAIs). In an effort to minimize the impact and occurrence of these incidents, it is necessary to evaluate the implementation of a bio-risk management system in every activity that involves handling biological agents. This study was conducted in an Indonesian higher-education institution, herein coded as University Y. This is a descriptive, semi-quantitative study aimed at analysing and evaluating the implementation of the bio-risk management systems used in laboratories by analysing the achievements obtained by each laboratory. The study used primary data that were collected using a checklist which referred to ISO 35001: 2019 on Laboratory Bio-risk Management. The checklist consisted of 202 items forming seven main elements. In addition, secondary data obtained from literature and document review were also used. The results show that out of 11 laboratories examined, only 2 laboratories met 50% of the requirements, which were Laboratory A and B, achieving good performance. Regarding the clauses of standards, a gap analysis identified leadership, performance evaluation, and support as elements with the lowest achievement. Therefore, corrective action should be developed by enhancing the commitment from management as well as improving documentation, policy, education and training.

Service quality is a very crucial element in ensuring the competitiveness of various institutions. By having a good service quality, the reputation of the organization will enhance and thus become their added competitive advantage. In higher education institution, service quality is important to ensure the students whom are their primary stakeholders are able to have a good learning experience in which will then influence their satisfaction. The primary objective of this paper is to analyze the correlation between five elements in SERVQUAL dimensions (tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy) and the student satisfaction. The questionnaires were distributed among the students in various faculties in UiTM Sabah by using convenience sampling technique and 250 questionnaires were managed to be collected for analysis. Overall, the result shows that the students are satisfied with service quality in UiTM Sabah. Specifically, all five SERVQUAL dimensions correlate with student satisfaction. Reliability, responsiveness and empathy dimensions have strong correlation with student satisfaction. Meanwhile, both tangibility and assurance have moderate correlation with student satisfaction. This study is hoped to contribute towards the new knowledge in the field of service quality especially in higher education institutions Future research is also proposed at the final section of this study to discover new findings from different perspectives of service quality. Interest-free financing in agro-industry is an exciting topic that has been developed by many researchers, but there is no clarity regarding the road map for future research. Therefore, formulations such as concepts, theories, methods, and research gaps, focusing on interest-free financing in agro-industry, are essential. This literature study was conducted using a systematic literature review method. The data used are secondary data from textbooks, theses/dissertations, conference papers, journals, scientific articles, and working papers. This study resulted in the formulation of the theory, concepts, and methods studied in the form of an explanation of 8 sub-topics of research gaps supported by references and explanations of state of the art. They are making it easier for researchers who have the same interest in developing and looking for novelties with the topic of interest-free financing research in the agro-industry.

Many universities in the United States are working to incorporate innovative 21st century skills, new active learning pedagogical approaches, and technology. Creating new physical and virtual spaces requires agile faculty professional for technology-centric experiences. Designing and offering meaningful professional development to faculty members in new virtual and physical learning technology-centric environments is a challenge. This case study explores the journey of one higher education institution in the Midwest as they implemented new technology-centric strategies, initiatives, and support. Data from faculty participants indicate the program's success and establish an agenda for future research.
