The study is part of the area of legal or forensic dentistry, which is a branch of Dentistry, specialized in helping the Judiciary Branch through the identification of marks and injuries caused by the dental arch, which is unique to each human being. The theme chosen for the research is relevant, as I identify with the subject and expand my professional knowledge. Aiming at the article, the description through a brief literature review, historical approach and the contribution of the Odontolegist's work in Post-Mortem. The realization of this work was based on research, such as: monographs, scientific articles and some research sites, such as Google. In its development, I show some cases where we have evidence and samples of human bites, their description and identification. It is concluded that the process of analysis of the Dentist is essential in the examinations of the body of crime and also in the knowledge of bite marks, charred bodies and all other elements that involve the oral cavity. This qualified professional works in favor of legal truth.

With far too many scholarly journals out there now, why launch yet another? Hurried readers may never recognize what THYMOS is about unless they get past the first word to what follows: Journal of Boyhood Studies. That may happen in quite a few cases at first, but we are convinced that once underway, THYMOS will take its place among the best interdisciplinary journals in English. Boys, we believe, have something to teach us about the body, sexuality, spirituality and the imagination and, for that reason, without wishing to be excessive, we want to emphasize our conviction that the subject matter of THYMOS—boys and boyhood—is central to everyone’s self-understanding as a human being in what will very soon be a thoroughgoing global culture.

Epidermoid, dermoid and teratoid cysts are nonodontogenic benign lesions derived from the germinative epithelium, appearing any where of the body. In the oral cavity, these are uncommon and account for less than 0.01% of all the oral cysts. These cysts often remain asymptomatic for years however can become acutely symptomatic.

Introduction: Third molars are the last teeth to erupt through the oral cavity and in some cases they are congenitally missing, display impaction or remain included. There are many reasons for their removal: decay, lack of space in the dental arch or problems during its eruption. During surgical extraction, oral tissues may be injured, which causes painful symptoms and edema. To combat these surgical complications, it is necessary the use of drugs that fight inflammation, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) and corticosteroids. To obtain best results, the combination of NSAIDs and steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are used in patients, either as preemptive medication and as postoperative medication. Objective: Performing a literature review in order to determine which drug classes have better postoperative outcomes for pain and swelling in of third molars extraction. Materials and methods: Studies present in SciELO, Lilacs and Pubmed databases published between 2000-2014 were included. Final considerations: Corticosteroids are used preemptively in order to reduce swelling frame, while NSAIDs have greater use in the postoperative period, in an attempt to reduce the pain.

This article analyzes the metaphorical models with the subject “human” and “part of the body” in the poetry of A. Mariengof and S. Yesenin. The object of the research is comparative paths in which metaphorical models are realized. Based on the consideration of metaphors and comparisons, metaphorical models are isolated and characterized, reflecting the connection between two conceptual areas. The comparison of metaphorical models in the poetry of A. Mariengof and S. Yesenin is carried out, the features of similarity and difference are highlighted. It was revealed that both poets pay considerable attention to a person as a subject of figurative comparisons. The model “human — being” is represented by comparisons with different representatives of the fauna, the semantics of images of which in poetic systems do not coincide. The most important for the authors figurative correspondences of a person, the most significant for each poet, subjects and objects of comparison are determined. The model “human — plant” occupies an important place in the figurative world of S. Yesenin, A. Mariengof mainly uses comparisons with objects of inanimate nature. Models with the subject “part of the body” are characterized by a variety of comparison subjects, especially in the poetry of A. Mariengof. The somatic vocabulary which is used by the authors is considered. Cases of combination in the realizations of metaphorical models of high and low are noted. Figurative correspondences through which poets characterize themselves are identified.

True experimental design and quasi-experimental design are considered to be rigorous research designs appropriate for assessing the impact of pedagogical interventions. This study explores the extent and application of experimental design in impact research on entrepreneurship education (EE) based on a systematic literature review. The findings reveal a substantial lack of methodologically rigorous studies on EE impact, which has severe implications for the accumulated knowledge on the subject. Furthermore, the article summarizes the findings from the body of experimental impact studies with a strong research design and concludes by indicating fruitful avenues for future research.

Abstract The research purpose is to present the possibilities of the human being which are useful in order to improve the personal level of energy and to achieve an increased balance and a strong self control. These are the necessary conditions to be performed and in the same time to maintain a good health. Humans usually use energy from external sources. But, first of all, by employing different personal techniques, one can reach a high level of balance, energy and self control. These are the simplest, the fastest, the most efficient, the most economical and also ecological ways to have energy. If these attempts are efficient, you are first of all warm, then less ill and stressed. Everybody should try these kinds of methods first. A comparison was made between the results from two consecutive years, obtained by measuring the subject using a Bio-Well device. It results an increase of 23% in the energy level, in the conditions that the other parameters are optimal. The general balance reached the value of 99.97%. The authors proved, with the occasion of these original measurements, that a perfect balance can be reached. Another set of original and new measurements reveal the possibility of the human being to have a good self control. The subject proposed and succeeded in moving the second body energy centre by his own will, which is the most important energy centre of the body in the Zen-Buddhism. This is a remarkable completely original result obtained, maybe, for the first time in the world. In principle, we could control then the positions of the all seven energy centers, one by one. And so, the whole balance of the body. Also, in this way an incredible personal control and level of performance and also a high level of happiness can be achieved.

Rationale and aims: Research shows that back patients’ illness experiences affect their interaction with the healthcare system. It is important to examine the exact nature of these experiences in order to shed valuable light on how back patients perceive their illness and hospitalisation. The aim of this literature review is to gain a better understanding of back patients’ illness experiences and to identify, systematise and integrate the findings of different qualitative studies that may elucidate barriers and the consequences or focal points in connection with care and treatment. Methods: The methodology for this literature review is based on the thematic synthesis used by James Thomas and Angela Harden. The literature review also draws on the sociological theories and arguments of Ulla Harriet Jensen and Trine Dalsgaard in which health professionals biological perception of the individual dominates the healthcare system and translates into a certain way of perceiving and explaining illnesses and symptoms.    Results: The thematic analysis shows that it is through experiences and memories that we create our identity and consciousness. Ignoring the illness experiences can therefore be seen as disregarding, the patient as a human being. With this in mind, it is easier to understand why back patients often feel marginalised and mistrusted in their interactions with the healthcare system. Respectfully including the patients’ experiences is fundamentally about acknowledging the back patient as a human being. Conclusions: A synthesis of the included studies demonstrates the need for healthcare professionals to pay attention to back patients’ narratives in order to acknowledge them as human beings. This acknowledgement involves an ethical dimension and a sense of responsibility, manifested as respectful inclusion of the patient’s experiences. The body can never be understood merely as a biological entity and therefore illness is far more than having symptoms, diagnoses and treatment. The synthesis thus proposes an acknowledgment of this and a more holistic approach.

Subject. The prevalence of inflammatory periodontal diseases among elderly people, regardless of their gender, ranges from 69 to 98 % worldwide. Periodontitis is a chronic bacterial disease that proceeds with intoxication of the body, thereby causing serious health problems. It has been proven that periodontitis can cause myocardial infarction and habitual miscarriage. Local and systemic treatment of diseases of this pathology is primarily aimed at suppressing pathogenic bacteria. It is obvious that, in the conditions of total antibiotic resistance of microorganisms and a considerable list of contraindications and complications of the antibiotic therapy, the search for new ways to combat them becomes vital. The main thing is that antibiotics disrupt the biological balance of the biopsy of the body which the patient has to restore from several months to several years. Under these conditions, the use of bacteriophages is an extremely promising solution. Bacteriophages are natural antimicrobial highly sensitive medications. They consist of viruses that target a bacterial cell. In these circumstances, bacteriophages do not harm the microbiota of the oral cavity. A literature review on the use of bacteriophages in dentistry for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of periodontal tissues has been conducted by us. The mechanism of action of bacteriophages, the strengths and weaknesses of the use of phage therapy have also been considered. Goal ― to study the use of bacteriophages for the treatment of patients with inflammatory periodontal diseases. Methodology. The literature review of more than 40 scientific sources has been conducted. Conclusion. The use of bacteriophages is a promising issue. Their effectiveness has been confirmed in the treatment of infectious and inflammatory periodontal diseases and diseases of the oral mucosa. They demonstrate high efficiency to improve the hygiene of the oral cavity and reduce inflammation. Being highly targeted viral medications, they act upon a specific bacterium without affecting the natural microbiota of a person.

The future of any nation is determined, first of all, by the health of adolescents, their reproductive abilities. The state of adolescent reproductive health is currently the subject of discussion not only among specialists, but also in society. This indicates the special acuteness and urgency of the problem. Puberty, as the period of formation of puberty of the body, occupies an important place in the formation of the female reproductive system, the functioning of which largely depends on the compatibility and development of the girl during puberty. The peculiarities of the puberty period affect the state of a woman's reproductive health throughout her life, her fertility, as well as the demographic situation in the country [1,2]. Statistics over the past decade show that, along with pronounced adverse trends in the health of the entire population, there are significant changes among adolescent girls. According to the researchers, the stability of the negative dynamics among adolescents remains, as this is largely due to unfavorable environmental conditions, unbalanced physical activity, various factors such as chronic stress and illiteracy of the population in relation to their own health. In addition, the economic situation is also of great importance. In this regard, the literature review is aimed at an in-depth study of the problem.

This chapter is on the Caraka Saṃhitā (1st–2nd century CE), focussing on The Ordinary Person, within the Section on Body. Here, the text steps back from actual medical issues to explore exactly who the human being is that is the subject of treatment. The text’s explicit objective is the healthy and long life, and while it strives to articulate the nature of illness and health, it perforce expresses what it is to be a (healthy or ill) person. Within that expression is contained a view of the human being as a bodily being. Such a bodily being is constituted ecologically, by a network of reflexive phenomenological states that occur across (i) a compositional material locus (the narrowly construed ‘body’), (ii) the clinical interaction of physician and patient (which are lines of intersubjective affect), and (iii) a normative social life of conduct (that influence the very constitution of the whole human).
