Concerns about women educational leaders, their performance within primary schools, their approaches to leadership, including the hindrances experienced in the school headship have received few if any attention in Côte d’Ivoire. This paper analyses how women principals lead their schools and contributed to schools’ advancement in challenging situations that stand in their ways. The authors used a qualitative approach to collect data through in-depth semi-structural interviews with five female principals in Ivorian elementary schools. Findings showed that women influence directly teachers’ commitment and indirectly students’ learning process as well, particularly those who have learning difficulties. Data also revealed that these female used to create an environment and academic support that gives attention to children, as these learning conditions are similar to that of their actual life at home. Based on the findings, we assumed that women leadership could be a significant contribution to students’ learning course, which in turn positively influence the school improvement. That is even consistent with the literature, which remains constant in the assertion that women leaders own some abilities, such as being caring, attentive, patient. In this regard, educational practitioners, policy makers and stakeholders should pay more attention to women primary school principals for empowering them to display their know-how, expertise and talent useful for the students’ learning process. That seems a possible backup for Ivorian education system to reduce the low academic achievement and enhance schools’ performance.

The eLearning instruments that have been researched in the last few years represent a necessity for the Romanian primary school also within the development of the alternative learning sources. These cognitive instruments as D.H. Jonassen names them, are utilized in the USA and are researched in other countries, too (France) in order to be implemented. The aim of this article is to implement and to recommend the utilization of electronic models: text and image processing sheets, presentation sheets, spreadsheets in the teachinglearning process in primary school. According to this aim, the research hypothesis has been issued in keeping with which we anticipate to be able to offer a well thought training in the eLearning field by updating the teaching and learning process with the help of the implementation of a set of electronic models which will increase the intercepting coefficient, the motivation, stimulation, imagination and enthusiasm degree for the learning actors and will redefine the teacher-pupil relation. The main objectives which derive from the hypothesis of our study confine to establishing the impact of electronic models of the eLeaming Set that has been proposed to be implemented on the actors primary school in the teaching-learning process; rendering the teaching-learning process efficient by implementing cognitive models with electronic support; working out an operational guide that contains scientific-practical recommendations and lesson models that utilize PeL; enriching the mathematical thinking. The study sample covers a population that wishes to know, to participate in the implementing of the new technologies. There has been a significant falling rate in Malaysians’ English proficiency in recent years. This paper studies a proficient English L2 user aiming to investigate the case’s engagement in learning English from birth to primary 6.  It is hoped to find out the implications (possible procedures and strategies) for moulding a child into a competent English user in the non-English setting in Malaysia. “Reflexivity”, a qualitative research method, was employed. The sample’s parent reflected and detailed the child’s learning journey with evidence of learning and achievements. Apart from the thorough recount on the child’s engagement with the L2 before formal education, the sample’s writings done in primary school were randomly selected and scrutinized with a text-analysing digital tool “Text Inspector©” whose analysis results were mapped with CEFR levels to examine his progression towards the mastery of the target language. The findings demonstrate that, first, exposing a child to English right after birth greatly triggers the learning process and the effects are significant; second, the provision of rich family literacy greatly complements the lacking of English environment; third, “imitation” can be an essential strategy to expedite the learner’s command of English.

Lesson plan is one of important role in the teaching and learning process in Primary Schools. It contains plans for activities or activities that will be carried out during learning. This research aims is to describe the suitability of lesson plan and the learning process in elementary school. The research method used is a survey method, involving a sample of 12 public and private elementary schools in the city of Sumedang. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and questionnaire techniques, the data that has been obtained is then analyzed using simple statistical techniques. The results showed that the suitability of lesson plan and the learning process had a percentage of 68.0% and were in the high category. This shows that all activities listed in the lesson plan start from the initial activities (79.8%), main activities (63.8%) and closing activities (68.86%) are in accordance with the activities carried out in the learning process. Thus it can be concluded that the lesson plan that has been prepared by the teacher and the learning process that has been carried out in the Sumedang City Primary School has a high level of suitability. However, even though it has a high category, but not fully in accordance with the lesson plan used, so there is still a need for further guidance and development for teachers so that they are always guided by the lesson plan so that learning becomes more directed and in accordance with the prepared plan.

This study aims to determine the role of supervision in developing the quality of teachers in teaching. This research is a qualitative research with the subject of the school principal and teacher. The results showed that the principal in leading was unable to enforce rules and discipline to all teachers, only following the decisions of their members. When there is a learning process and teaching devices that are lacking there is no sanction or reprimand from the school principal, teaching at this school only follows each other's rules. But when there is inspection from the supervisor or UPT there is new communication between the teacher. The existence of an unexpected meeting resulted in disruption of the teaching and learning process, because the teacher's meeting made the students did not supervise, so the students wandered. Conclusion, in the end the learning process that has been arranged well in the learning device is not carried out properly, because the teacher who teaches will pursue the hours of study used during a sudden meeting, as a result students will find it difficult to understand the lessons given by the teacher.
