The journey and progress of Islam in Indonesia has finally brought about changes in social fields that are different in social construction and encourage political points of view. This development can be seen from the problems of language, teaching, and socio-government. The language change was distinguished by a change in names which were mostly taken from Arabic, such as Abdul, Syah and Malik. Moreover, the pesantren contains about sharia, tashawuf, and development organizations. The presence of Islam in Southeast Asia at that time may not have an impact on the world today. After an episode of workers' resistance in the South China region against the Chief of Hey Tsung (878-889 AD) which killed many Muslims, they began to seek asylum in Kedah (around that time Kedah was remembered as Sriwijaya territory). This paper is of a qualitative type, with a library research approach. The entry of Islam to Indonesia changed the social and political conditions based on Islam as brought by the preachers. Second, the presence of the Islamic kingdom in Indonesia had a great influence on the development and spread of Islam in Indonesia. Third Some of the Islamic kingdoms that contributed to the spread of Islam in Indonesia were the Samudera Pasai Kingdom, the Banten Kingdom, the Malacca Kingdom, and the Mataram Kingdom.

Abstract Dialogue does not always aim to resolve disputes, but rather aims to develop a shared understanding of a complex topic. Dialogue is a form of structured interpersonal communication, relying on full attention, involving all parties to argue and listen actively. Dialogue is different from debate because debate always offers two points of view with the aim of proving the validity or truth of one perspective against another. Therefore, dialogue does not only involve the mind but also the heart because in interactions it has ethical standards in communication and its relationship with the Islamic communication strategy that commands Allah Subehanahu Wata'ala in the Koran. To obtain representative data, a library research approach is used by searching, collecting, reading, and analyzing books, literature, and documents that are relevant to this research problem. The data collected is then analyzed using a scientific approach to Islamic Communication, so that a result is found that reveals that dialogue should be carried out by allowing people to understand the perspectives of others without ignoring a different perspective of oneself. In the form of interpersonal relationships that are bound by topics or themes that can be explored together by thinking objectively based on the principles of Islamic communication, namely qaulan sadidan (true, not lying); qaulan baligha (straightforward, effective); qaulan ma’rufa (kind and polite words); qaulan karima (respect, respect); Qaulan Layina (Gentle); And Qaulan Maysura (Easy to Understand). Keywords: Principles, Islamic Communication, Dialogue, Interpersonal Communication.

Phenomenological interviewing is a research approach used extensively and successfully in the social sciences and has implications for those working with people-plant interactions. Although many research methods are available for horticulturists to use in obtaining information about a target audience, most methods used (e.g., surveys and questionnaires) are quantitative in nature in that they provide numerical data on statistical generalizable patterns. Phenomenological interviewing allows investigators, through open-ended interview questions, to obtain more in-depth data than traditional quantitative techniques. Transcribed interview tapes become the data from which analysis and interpretation follows. “Coding” the data by searching for words, phrases, patterns of behavior, subjects' ways of thinking, and events which are repeated and stand out classify and categorize the data helping with its interpretation and write up. Writing up such data must develop how you interpret what you found by carefully integrating themes that support a thesis and create or augment theoretical explanations. This research method allows investigators to understand and capture the points of view of the participants without predetermining those points of view through prior selection of questionnaire or survey categories.

The social marketing paradigm has been changing due to the use of digital social networks. This causes Non-Governmental Development Organizations’ efforts to focus on achieving a greater reaction from the public in these communication channels. We propose that the way forward is to analyze aspects of messages that give rise to a greater response from the audience. In this regard, we have analyzed 3608 Facebook and Twitter publications with the combination of content analysis and correlation analysis. We have considered three aspects: purpose, theme, and quality of the message. We have also listed a breakdown of quality and purpose parameters in order to become more fully acquainted with these aspects. The objectives of this research are firstly to carry out the communication profiles of the NGDOs studied from the points of view of the organizations and the public. Secondly, to analyze the reaction from the public (interactions) measured by the sum of likes plus the number of shares for each post, on Facebook and Twitter, according the parameters considered. The results showed that the most published messages from the organizations do not usually coincide with those that have the most impact on the public. Another proven aspect is that Twitter posts about behavior have more effectiveness than informative messages. Likewise, quality aspects, such as hashtags, mentions, or links, are not succeeding in generating public reaction.

The implications of this research indicate that scholars should maintain the social conditions of their society, particularly in applying the syar'i> propositions, so that the fiqh opinions of Allah ﷻ scholar should not be seen only from a pure discussion of its syar'i> propositions.

Abstract This paper focuses on the micro-analysis of historical data, which allows us to investigate language use across the lifetime of individual speakers. Certain concepts, such as social network analysis or communities of practice, put individual speakers and their social embeddedness and dynamicity at the center of attention. This means that intra-speaker variation can be described and analyzed in quite some detail in certain historical data sets. The paper presents some exemplary empirical analyses of the diachronic linguistic behavior of individual speakers/writers in fifteenth to seventeenth century England. It discusses the social factors that influence this behavior, with an emphasis on the methodological and theoretical challenges and opportunities when investigating intra-speaker variation and change.

Mobile dating apps like Tinder became very popular among young adults, and, in contrast to mobile dating websites, they were designed to create a more game-like experience. While it is well documented that seeking entertainment is one core motivation for mobile dating app use, the social nature of entertainment has garnered less attention. Therefore, in this paper we draw on research on entertainment in dating apps and the socio-physical contexts of use to identify patterned behaviors of heterosexual users. To do this, we employed a qualitative multi-phase research approach. First, we conducted 20 interviews with mobile dating app users. Based on the findings from that study, we conducted gender-specific focus groups and a discourse analysis to explore the social phenomena identified in phase one. Our findings suggest the fun of mobile dating is not just interacting with potential matches through the apps, but the use of the apps among one’s friends. These “dating games” are entertaining, but importantly mitigate potential social or physical risks of mobile dating. Unsurprisingly, notions of “play” across the interview, focus group, and discourse analyses reflect highly gendered practices surrounding mobile dating apps and different risks associated with such games.
