This paper presents the model of a high class variable structure mechanism. These mechanisms have not gained widespread acceptance in practice, despite obvious improvements in the ability to transmit motion and power. The article presents a synthesized high class mechanism. The block diagram of the formation of the mechanism is shown, the results of synthesis are presented. It is shown that with a relatively compact kinematic scheme, it is possible, with one drive, to create a system with several working links providing various technological operations, that is, on the basis of one mechanism, it becomes possible to create automatic mechanisms. In these studies, the development of a methodology for the dynamic design of the variable structure mechanism based on the analysis of dynamics and assessment of the influence of nonlinear factors on the quality of the machine as a whole was carried out. To study the motion of such variable structure mechanism, mathematical modeling of dynamics with discontinuous coefficients and nonlinear external forces is used.

The article considers the role of trust in the economy, the mechanisms of its accumulation and the possibility of using it as one of the growth factors in the future. The advantages and disadvantages of measuring the level of generalized trust using two alternative questions — about trusting people in general and trusting strangers — are analyzed. The results of the analysis of dynamics of the level of generalized trust among Russian youth, obtained within the study of the Institute for National Projects in 10 regions of Russia, are presented. It is shown that there are no significant changes in trust in people in general during the study at university. At the same time, the level of trust in strangers falls, which can negatively affect the level of trust in the country as a whole, and as a result have negative effects on the development of the economy in the future. Possible causes of the observed trends and the role of universities are discussed. Also the question about the connection between the level of education and generalized trust in countries with different quality of the institutional environment is raised.

В настоящее время информация о состоянии атмосферы широко используется как при составлении прогнозов погоды, так и при решении многих экономических задач. Существенная особенность метеорологических явлений - их пространственно-временная изменчивость. Это вызывает необходимость такой организации наблюдений, которая позволит своевременно отметить возникновение явления и проследить за ходом его развития. Статистика показывает, что в период с 1997 по 2000 годы произошло порядка 193 авиационных инцидентoв, которые обусловлены недостатками метеорологического обеспечения полетов. Поэтому задача повышения качества метеорологического обеспечения является актуальной. На основе модельных и практических экспериментов показано, что беспроводной канал связи LoRaWaN способен объединить весь поток данных, поступающих с удаленных метеорологических датчиков, которые используют разные протоколы для взаимодействия друг с другом. В ходе выполнения эксперимента получены положительные результаты, доказывающие возможность организации таких каналов связи для задач метеообеспечения аэродромов. Также приводится структурная схема для организации канала связи. При этом не требуется прокладка кабельных коммуникаций связи, когда стоимость такого вида работ, включая согласование, зачастую значительно превышает стоимость самого метеорологического оборудования At present, information on the state of the atmosphere is widely used both in the preparation of weather forecasts and in solving many economic problems. An essential feature of meteorological phenomena is their spatial and temporal variability. This makes it necessary to organize observations in such a way that will allow timely noting the occurrence of the phenomenon and monitoring the progress of its development. Statistics show that in the period from 1997 to 2000 there were about 193 aviation incidents, which were caused by shortcomings in the meteorological support of flights. Therefore, the task of improving the quality of meteorological support is urgent. This article shows, based on model and practical experiments, that the LaRaWAN wireless communication channel is able to combine the entire data stream coming from remote meteorological sensors using various communication protocols among themselves. During the experiment, I obtained positive results, proving the possibility of organizing such communication channels for the tasks of meteorological support of airfields. A block diagram for the organization of a communication channel is also provided. At the same time, the laying of cable communications is not required, when the cost of this type of work, including coordination, often significantly exceeds the cost of the meteorological equipment itself

The period of German occupation in Latvia came after twenty years of Latvian independence and a year of Soviet occupation. The shifts in the translation policies at these critical junctions were incredibly fast. The independence period was marked by a developed translation industry, a variety of the source languages, a variety of kinds of literature, with a broad scope in the quality of the translations. When the Soviets came, they quickly nationalized the publishers, ideologised the system and reshaped the pattern of what was translated. Russian was made the main source language, and other languages were minimized. The share of ideological literature grew exponentially, reaching one third of all books. Soon after the German invasion, the publishers regained their printing houses and publishing was renewed. The percentage of translations was similar to that of the independence period, with German literature making up 70% of the source texts. Most of the other source texts were Nordic and Estonian. Translation quality of fiction was generally high and the print runs grew. There are surprisingly few ideologically motivated translations. The official policies of the regime as regards publishing in Latvia appear to be uncoordinated and vague, with occasional decisions taken by “gate-keepers” in the Ostministerium and other authorities according to their own preferences. There was a nominal pre-censorship, but the publishers were expected to know and sense what was acceptable. In turn the latter played it safe, sticking to classical and serious works to translate and publish. Some high class translations of Latvian classics into German were also published during the period.

In the process of post-harvest processing of root crops and potatoes in Russia, mechanical sortings of various types are used, which allows to separate the material according to the size criterion and removing impurities. The main requirement for this equipment is to ensure the quality and reliability of technological processes for the impurities separation and the root crops separation into fractions with minimal damage. (Research purpose) To improve the quality of potato tubers sorting using an automated line for post-harvest processing of root crops and potatoes, which allows to reduce their damage and ensure high accuracy of separation into fractions by size. (Materials and methods) The authors studied the automated process of root crops post-harvest processing. They developed approaches and basic technical, technological and constructive solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of root crops and potatoes post-harvest processing. To automate the root crops and potatoes processing, the authors installed the universal web camera Logitech HD Pro C920. They created a basic block diagram of the electronic line system operation. (Results and discussion) The authors clarified the size and mass characteristics of potato tubers with a total weight of 38 356 grams of Nevsky variety of the 2019 harvest and their shape coefficient. They developed design documentation. An experimental line was prepared for potato tubers post-harvest sorting with an original circuit diagram of the electronic system operation. The authors substantiated its design and operational-technological parameters. Practical studies of the automated line work were carried out in the Ryazan region on the basis of the Institute of Seed Production and Agrotechnologies – a branch of the Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center VIM. (Conclusions) The authors determined that the developed automated line for root crops and potatoes post-harvest sorting thanks to digital technologies reduced labor costs by eliminating manual sorting, as well as improving the quality of potato tubers and the accuracy of sorting by size to 95-98 percent. It was revealed that damage to potato tubers did not exceed one percent.

The quality of Vessel Traffic Management and Information Systems depends on the quality of all subsystems, in particular the quality of control centers. The most commonly used quantitative indicators of the control centers' quality are: reliability, availability, safety, and system failure. Therefore, a block diagram of reliability and the model for reliability / availability (Markov model) have been created in this paper and a detailed analysis and calculation of the quantitative indicators of critical components (servers) of the control center have been performed. The quality functioning of the control centers will enable gathering, processing, storing and dissemination of timely, safe, and reliable data and information to the services in charge of monitoring and management of maritime traffic.

В данной статье приводится описание технологического процесса обжига керамического кирпича в кольцевой печи Гофмана. Проанализирован существующий уровень автоматизации объекта. Приведено обоснование для внедрения автоматизированной системы управления процессом обжига кирпича и вариант структурной схемы системы автоматизированного управления. Также представлены основные характеристики интегрированной среды разработки SIMPLE-SCADA, выбранной для организации операторского уровня автоматизированной системы управления технологическим процессом. Для определения показателей качества системы определены прямые и косвенные оценки качества функционирования системы управления. This article describes the technological process of firing ceramic bricks in a ring Hoffmann furnace. The existing level of object automation is analyzed. The justification for the introduction of an automated control system for the brick firing process and a variant of the block diagram of the automated control system is given. The main characteristics of the integrated development environment SIMPLE-SCADA, selected for the organization of the operator level of the automated process control system, are also presented. To determine the quality indicators of the system, direct and indirect assessments of the quality of the management system are determined.

The high resolution and wide measurement range are important for the displacement measurement based on the grating moiré fringe at present. 50lines/mm coarse grating scale is chosen often in order to carry out the wide range. Therefore, the realization of the high resolution is a difficult problem for coarse grating scale. The paper proposes a new nanometer subdivision method with CCD based on the disadvantages of previous moiré fringe collection method. CCD replaces the traditional photoelectric triode and converts moiré fringe to the pixels signal output, which can improve the moiré fringe quality of grating scale. The pixel is the basis unit of CCD; the pixel number decides directly the measurement resolution and precision. The paper chooses the liner array CCD TCD1501C that has 5000 pixel units and 7μm pixel unit,which ensures the nanometer resolution. The output signals of CCD are processed by amplifier, filter, 12 bit analog-digital converter and sent to the core processor of FPGA. The FPGA consisted of all digital system including CCD driver, subdivision, identification direction, displacement calculation, display and key control functions. The paper gave the principle of nanometer subdivision, block diagram of FPGA module and simulation waveforms.

The article analyzes the main indicators of morbidity and mortality from cancer of the larynx in the period from 1998 to 2014 on the territory of the Amur region of Far Eastern Federal District. In the studied period of time, the incidence of malignant tumors of the larynx substantially decreased with the growth/loss in men of “rough indicators” by -11.89%, of standardized ones by -7.75%. In women, they were +98.31 and +77.77%, respectively. Mortality in contrast to the incidence throughout the years had a negative growth (loss) in absolute terms, “rude” and standardized indicators. The age and sex features of morbidity with larynx cancer were revealed; they show that the maximum number of cancer cases is in the age group of 50 years old and older. The multistage character of the process based on its prevalence was determined. The early stages (I-II) of laryngeal cancer were registered in 13.7% of patients. The quality of cancer services activity was studied by reliability index of accounting for this category of patients, which is usually lower than in other regions of the country (-0.45). The analysis of dynamics of mortality in the first year after diagnosis shows its reduction in cancer of the larynx by 11.0% over the period of 1998-2014. The number of patients who were registered five or more years ago decreased significantly. The estimation of primary care, which is not yet fully in line with current medicine, in the provision of specialized aid to cancer patients in the region was done.

This paper takes DSP2812 as the core to develop the new reactive power compensation controller, realized the reactive power compensation, detection of the electricity distribution network information, and through mobile phone short message module TC35 to send mobile phone SMS information, remote control compensation capacitor, configuration parameters. The design has the characteristics of flexible and reliable, convenient and practical. This paper analyses the software and hardware structure of controller in detail, and the hardware principle and circuit and the software block diagram of the controller. Controller adopts the integrated control, to maximize the use of compensation equipment to improve the power quality of power grid.
