ABSTRACTObjective: learning the perceptions of teachers of nursing in the area of professional discipline curricular undergraduate course in Nursing. Methodology: this is a descriptive and exploratory study from quantitative approach. The sample performed by 19 teachers and data collection was conducted from June to July 2008, with a questionnaire. The results were analyzed and discussed according to the literature. This study was approved by the Ethics and Research of the University of Taubaté/UNITAU (protocol number 136/08). Results: indicates that, for teachers, the goal of the discipline is to develop activities that have worked in the first three years of graduation, and it is very important for the development of future career opportunities because it offers the experience of practice. There is the opportunity to develop responsibility and autonomy for the stage, encouraging the formation of a professional critic and reflective. Conclusion: this study will contribute to reflection on the importance of interaction and participation by all those involved in the training of professional nurses, especially regarding the development of the discipline of the curricular, enabling new approaches that allow improving the quality of teaching degree in Nursing. Metodologia: estudo descritivo e exploratório com abordagem quantitativa. A amostra foi de 19 professores e a coleta de dados foi de junho a julho de 2008, com um questionário. Os resultados foram analisados e discutidos de acordo com a literatura. Este estudo foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa da Universidade de Taubaté/UNITAU (número de registro 136/08). Resultados: indicam que, para os professores o objetivo da disciplina é desenvolver atividades já trabalhadas nos três primeiros anos da graduação e, que é de suma importância para o desenvolvimento do futuro profissional pois oferece possibilidades da vivência da prática. Há oportunidade para desenvolverem responsabilidade e autonomia durante o estágio, favorecendo a formação de um profissional crítico e reflexivo. Conclusão: esse estudo contribuirá à reflexão sobre a importância do entrosamento e participação efetiva de todos os envolvidos no processo de formação do profissional enfermeiro, especialmente no que tange o desenvolvimento da disciplina do estágio curricular, viabilizando novos olhares que possibilitem melhorar a qualidade do ensino de graduação em Enfermagem. Resultados: indican que, para os profesores, el objetivo de la asignatura es desarrollar actividades ya trabajadas em los tres primeros años de la graduación, y que es de máxima importancia para el desarrollo del futuro profesional pues ofrece posibilidades de vivencia de la práctica. Hay oportunidad para desarrollar responsabilidad y autonomía durante el estagio, favoreciendo la formación de un profesional crítico y reflexivo. Conclusión: ese estudio contribuirá a la reflexión sobre la importancia del entrosamiento y participación efectiva de todos los involuncrados en el proceso de formación del profesional enfermero, especialmente en lo que tange al desarrollo de la asignatura del estagio curricular, viabilizando nuevas miradas que posibiliten mejorar la cualidad de la enseñanza de graduación en Enfermería. This article examines the factors influencing the students that attendthe Gama Faculty at the University of Brasilia when choosingthe Software Engineering Undergraduate Course. Exploratory researchand quantitative approach. The data were collected througha questionnaire applied to 61 incoming undergraduate students whowished to attend the referred undergraduate course in November2019. The results revealed that the choice of the Software Engineeringcourse is related to the students’ affinity with the profession,but the financial compensation and the employability also influenceon the course choice. The results also revealed that the choice ofthe University of Brasilia institution is mainly related to reputation,quality of teaching, student recommendation and employability,due to the institution’s name.

Regardless of the discipline or institution in which scientific research will be conducted, the "method» is present. It remains fundamental of all research work that can inevitably affect problem-solving, development of the nation, and threaten quality of life. This is an exploratory study on research methods used in graduation projects in the following disciplines (health sciences, engineering, biological and agronomic sciences, and social sciences). The method used in this work is based on:(a) semi-structured survey by interviewing supervisors of final dissertations and theses in different selected disciplines (b) systematic analysis of the fifty-research work of graduate students. The works obtained from the libraries of the University Hassan II of Casablanca in different disciplines, submitted between 2014 and 2018. The parts of the empirical phase were analyzed, according to the processes and concepts of each discipline, to highlight the elements of the research method. The findings indicated the influence of the national scientific production by the design of the research method. The data collection and analysis are the sections that may affect the integrity of the research method. Our contribution is to remedy the standardization of the method and adapting it to the contexts of the needs of different disciplines.

Objective: To analyze the influences and repercussions of enterostomal therapy on the career of nurses. Methods: Descriptive, exploratory study with quantitative approach, conducted in 2014. The sample consisted of 29 nurses graduated from the Nursing School of the University of São Paulo and the University of Taubaté. The data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed by SPHINXR software. The results were discussed in the light of the literature on the subject. Results: The continuity of the studies provided the nurse a career with promotions, management positions or even a career redirection. The work environment influenced the achievement of the specialty (21/79%). The participants worked in several types of institutions and their positions were diverse, thus presenting options for those who want to pursue a career in the area. Conclusion: The job market, as well as the environment in which the nurse is inserted, most of the time plays a defining role when the subject is the choice of a specialization.

The article investigates how university lecturers taking part in the compulsory teacher training at Stockholm University (SU) conceive of the effects of standardised and formalised training on their teaching. The study explores the emotions and responses evoked among academics when everyone is required to embrace the same pedagogic philosophy of constructive alignment (Biggs 2003), adopt the language of learning outcomes and assign the same standards to diverse academic practices. The article attempts to shed light on different conceptions of the quality of teaching and learning in higher education and the interplay between the lecturers' values of academic freedom, collegiality and disciplinary expertise and the university leadership's values of efficiency, accountability and measurability of performance. The article considers how these conceptions coexist and are negotiated within the university as an organisation.

This study aims to determine the quality library services based implementation of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 . User satisfaction and student perceptions regarding the attributes of quality library services that include : tangible , reliability , responsiveness, assuredness , and empathy associated with user satisfaction .This study uses a quantitative approach . Type a descriptive quantitative research . Ex post facto data collection by survey method . Data collection using questionnaires as the primary method , documentary and observation . The study population was a student who came to visit and use the library facilities and using samples UGM proportional stratified random sampling technique.Analysis of the data using parametric statistics , such as regression analysis to test the hypothesis regreasi first and to find out how much of each attribute independent variables contribute effectively to the satisfaction of the user and the product moment correlation and ANOVA to test the hypothesis of a single lane to two . Results indicate that the implementation of quality management system ISO 9001 : 2008 can give satisfaction to the users at the Central Library , University of Gadjah Mada . It can be seen from the results of the user's perception of the quality attributes of library services that include : tangible, reliability , responsiveness , and empathy assuredness related to user satisfaction at the Central Library of the University of Gadjah Mada . It can be seen from tangible attribute indicates the coefficient b = 0.104 and p = 0.022 , attribute indicates the reliability coefficient b = 0.126 and p = 0.009, attribute indicates the responsiveness coefficient b = 0.095 and p = 0.018, showing assuredness attribute coefficient b = 0.125 and p = 0.007, attribute shows empathy coefficient b = 0.193 with p = 0.001 . Positive effect is statistically significant means that the better the user perception of service quality attributes of the higher levels of user satisfaction and conversely the perception of poor quality of service attributes pemustaka on the lower level of user satisfaction in the Library of the University of Gadjah Mada . From the estimation above regression equation, the coefficient of multiple determination ( R2 ) of 0.539 that showed statistically that the role of the variable quality of service for users' satisfaction at 53.9 % . Percentage of the remaining 46.1 % are other variables not examined in this study .

Background: Regular feelings of anxiety is a severe life and highly prevalent psychiatric disorder which becomes one of the major cause of death across the globe. Although the exact causes responsible for anxiety are not known only in Pakistan 44 % of the population is facing anxiety problems which leads to many other diseases and low quality of life. Objectives: To investigate whether the youth of Pakistan is facing anxiety problems, what are the major cause of anxiety, how anxiety can be managed, and to study the role of prayers in anxiety management.  Method: The researcher select 400 respondents from two universities of Lahore (the University of Central Punjab and Punjab University) through a systematic random sampling technique. In the first phase, the researcher filters those people who did not face an anxiety problem in the last month. Researchers collect data only from those respondents who can recall and face an anxiety problem in the last month. Results: Rate of anxiety among the youth of Pakistan is alarming, as (71 %) of the respondent said that they face anxiety problems. But there is a very significant relationship between prayers and anxiety management. Conclusion: The researcher concludes that prayers can be used to manage or reduce anxiety.

This study aims to determine the strategy of the Journal of Community Development of Thought Media and Development Da'wah in improving the quality of its articles. The research method in this article uses a qualitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling as a technique for withdrawing the informants. This research uses interviews and documentation studies in data collection. The results of this study are grouped into two parts, namely strategies to improve the ability of journal managers to operationalize OJS, and strategies to improve the quality of articles. Field findings show that training is carried out by bringing in experts, participating in training conducted by the Faculty Journal House and also the University Journal House, as well as several other similar trainings. The second group is the strategy to improve the final quality. There are three things, namely forming a team with clear job descriptions, giving rewards and punishments for the success of the achievements obtained by the journal. The last one is the participation of journal managers in training.

Space cannot be separated from human life, both psychologically emotional (perception) and dimensional. Humans are moving and living, thinking, and also creating space to express the shape of their world and formed when people react to the environment in giving meaning to their environment. It can be said that environmental evaluation, furthermore, is a response to the overall influence of a detailed analysis of specific aspects, and more of a compared to the manifest function and is strongly influenced by images. This paper explains the results of the study, which intends to find out student perceptions of the meaning of space in the Architectural building of the Faculty of Engineering, University of North Sumatra. The study uses data analysis methods. The results of the study show that students' perceptions of space use are not by the allocation of the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, University of North Sumatra, because it is influenced by culture, space settings, and accessibility. The benefits of this study as a reference to the Department of Architecture of the University of North Sumatra to be able to improve the quality of teaching and to learn in supporting the comfort of student learning.

The article attempts to analyze the current trends in education and identify the most important ones for teaching at the university. As a result of the study of domestic and foreign scientific works devoted to the modernization of education, the author offers a list of strategically important modern trends that need to be massively implemented in the national educational environment in order to improve the quality of teaching various disciplines at the university. The examples presented in the article are taken from the author’s personal professional experience, since all of the stated trends are reflected in his teaching activities. In conclusion, the author points out that the list of potential innovations is not limited to this article, and expresses hope for further research on this issue, considering it strategically important for national education.
