This study examines factors affecting the interest of state civil servants to undertake whistle-blowing action on local governments of Papua Province. The population in this study is the State Civil Servants (ASN) on local governments of Papua Province, with 120 number of people as sample in this research. Multiple regression analysis techniques is used to analysis, discuss and testing the hypothesis from the data collection. This research find that variabel of organization commitment has a significant and negative effect on the interest of state civil servants to undertake Whistle Blowing action. Thus it can be explained that, in high and low commitment of organzation environment which dominated by employees at SKPDs in government of Jayapura city that have lowered interest to undertake Whistle Blowing action. Then, varibale of Attitude has a significant effect on the Interest of Whistle Blowing action, which the attitude of the existing employees will increase the interest to Blow the Whistle at the SKPDs’ employees in the government of Jayapura city. Similarly, Personal Cost variabel has a significant affect on the interest of state civil servants to attempt a Whistle Blowing action, it can be seen that when there is a sufficient personal cost in the employees of SKPD in the government of Jayapura city, it will increase the interest in Blowing the Whistle. While, the degree of seriousness also has a significant influence on the employees to attempt a Whistle Blowing interest. This means that the increasing interest in Blowing Whistle among employees are required to enhance the degree of seriousness in conducting Interest of Blowing a Whistle at SKPD in the government of Jayapura city.

This research aims to examine the influence of attitude towards whistle-blowing, organizational commitment, personal cost,and seriousness of wrongdoing on the whistle-blowing intentions among civil servants in the Supreme Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI). This research used primary data collected from online questionnaire survey. Using a sample of 107 BPK RI’s civil servants from 35 different units, this research shows that three of the four determinants significantly affect whistle blowing intention. The three affecting determinants are attitude towards whistle-blowing, organizational commitment, and seriousness of wrongdoing. This research has implications on literatures by confirming the theory of Prosocial Organizational Behavior; Theory of Planned Behavior; and The Concept of Organizational Commitment, and is expected to help the government, particularly BPK-RI, in designing strategies to increase their employees whistle-blowing intention or in designing or enhancing the institution’s whistle-blowing system. The results have limitations on the aspects of generalization, selection bias in data collection, and the sensitivity of research’s theme which is potentially biased with real condition. We suggest the next researcher to explore other whistle-blowing intention’s determinants, design spesific research on channels and forms of whistle-blowing, re-examine the consistency of personal cost’s effect, avoid data collection methods that potentially cause selection bias, and expand the sample.

This study aims to determine the effect of Attitudes, Organizational Commitments, Severity of Cheating Levels, Personal Cost of Reporting and Professional Commitment to whistleblowing intentions. Data collection techniques are questionnaires. The population in this study were all Village government apparatus in Subang Regency and the sample in this study were 200 respondents. Hypothesis testing uses multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate: (1) attitude influences the intention to conduct whistleblowing; (2) organizational commitment does not affect the intention to conduct whistleblowing; (3) Fraud severity level influences the intention to conduct whistleblowing; Personal Cost of Reporting has a negative effect on the intention to do a whistleblowing; (5) Job commitment influences the intention to conduct whistleblowing

This research aims to analyze the phenomena of the factors affecting the profitability management of state-owned enterprises. The purposive sampling method was used in data collection by selecting seven state-owned enterprises during the last eleven years and using multiple regression analysis techniques. The findings of this study are that subsidy has a negative and significant effect on profitability management, which means that the more it is subsidized, the lower the profitability management indicator will be, mainly because of the decreasing motivation and challenges with profitability orientation. The firm size variable has a negative and significant effect, which means that the larger the company scale, the lower the profitability of management because the task for services requires economic orientation or not financial-based.

ABSTRACTPoverty is one of a complex problem that remains unresolved in the state of Indonesia. The government of East Jakarta Municipallity has taken much effort to break the cycle of poverty, but the rate of poverty in East Jakarta City is still fluctuating. This study aimed to analyze the factors affecting the chances of poor household growt. Based on Logistic Regression Analysis demonstrated that gender and a number of household members positively have a significant effect on the chance of poor household development, while the number of productive members in household have a negative effect. Keywords : Logistic Regression, PovertyABSTRAKKemiskinan merupakan salah satu masalah yang kompleks yang belum terpecahkan di Indonesia. Pemerintah Kota Jakarta Timur telah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mengatasi masalah kemiskinan, namun angka kemiskinan di Kota Jakarta Timur masih fluktuatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya rumah tangga miskin. Hasil Analisis Regresi Logistik menunjukan bahwa gender dan besaran anggota rumah tangga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kejadian rumah tangga miskin sedangkan proporsi anggota rumah tangga yang bekerja, berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kejadian rumah tangga miskin. Kata kunci: Kemiskinan, Regresi Logistik

COVID-19 has spread around the world, causing a global pandemic, and to date is impacting in various ways in both developed and developing countries. We know that the spread of this virus is through people’s behavior despite the perceived risks. Risk perception plays an important role in decision-making to prevent infection. Using data from the online survey of participants in Peru and China (N = 1594), data were collected between 8 July 31 and August 2020. We found that levels of risk perception are relatively moderate, but higher in Peru compared to China. In both countries, anxiety, threat perception, self-confidence, and sex were found to be significant predictors of risk perception; however, trust in the information received by government and experts was significant only in Peru, whereas self-confidence had a significant negative effect only for China. Risk communication should be implemented through information programs aimed at reducing anxiety and improving self-confidence, taking into consideration gender differences. In addition, the information generated by the government should be based on empirical sources. Finally, the implications for effective risk communication and its impacts on the health field are discussed.

Describe the implementation of the fingerprint electronic absence policy on the discipline and performance of civil servants as well as the impact it has on implementing the fingerprint electronic absence policy. Qualitative descriptive method describes various conditions and situations as the object of research. The data collection techniques used were observation, documentation and interviews. After the implementation of fingerprint electronic attendance, discipline increases and obligations as employees have been carried out in accordance with applicable regulations. The application of sanctions in the regional government of seluma regency is in accordance with the regulations of civil servants and the provision of rewards for employees who excel has been carried out properly, to inspire other employees, so that they can work better.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi kegunaan, kemudahan dan kerumitan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) terhadap data pemicu di approweb, pada Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Makassar Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer melalui survei kepada 36 orang responden dari account representative di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Makassar Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner data dianalisis dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebermanfaatan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan sedangkan kemudahan berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan dan kerumitan berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap data pemicu di aplikasi approweb. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan teori TAM dari persepsi kebermanfaatan data pemicu di aplikasi approweb bermanfaat bagi account representative. The study aims to analyze the effect of perceived usefulness, ease and complexity of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) on trigger data in the Approweb, at the West Makassar Pratama Tax Office. This study uses primary data through a survey of 36 respondents from account representatives at the West Makassar Pratama Tax Office. Data collection techniques through data questionnaires were analyzed using the SPSS application. Hypothesis testing uses multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that usefulness has a positive and significant effect while ease of positive effect is not significant and complexity has a significant negative effect on trigger data in approweb applications. The results of this study prove the TAM theory from the perceived usefulness of trigger data in the approweb application is beneficial for account representatives.

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the intentions of government employees to do withlowing. This research examines Effect of personal cost of reporting, level of seriousness of fraud, organizational commitment and professional commitment on the intention to do whistleblowing. The population in this study were all staff / employees at OPD Kuantan Singingi. The sampling method used in this study was the purposive sampling and using the sample of 72  civil servants from 24 different OPD. The results of  regression analysis  show that personal cost affects the intention to do whistleblowing. 2) the level of seriousness of fraud affects the intention to do whistleblowing. 3)  organizational commitment affects the intention to do whistleblowing. 4)  professional commitment affects the intention to do whistleblowing. This research has a contribution in reducing fraud in government

Friendly service is a key to being able to maintain a retail business in the midst of many emerging retail types. To be able to survive and be able to provide customer-friendly services, the company is required to be able to create employee satisfaction in working through the arrangement of shop layouts and visual merchandising stores in outlets. In line with this, this study aims to determine the effect of shop layout and visual store merchandising on employee satisfaction at the Tiara Dewata Denpasar Supermarket. This research was conducted at the Denpasar Tiara Dewata Supermarket using a sample size of 88 people with a saturated sample method. Data collection was obtained from the results of questionnaires at the Denpasar Tiara Dewata Supermarket using as many as 16 indicators and the indicators were measured using a Likert scale. The data analysis techniques used in this study are multiple regression analysis and accompanied by classical assumption and hypothesis testing. The results of the study found that shop layout and visual store merchandising partially had a positive and significant effect on employee satisfaction. In addition, shop layout and visual merchandising stores simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee satisfaction. This result confirms that to improve employee satisfaction the company is expected to be able to create a comfortable and safe atmosphere of the office environment through structuring shop layout and visual merchandising stores. Studying the factors affecting the income of Vietnamese peasants: A case in Tra Vinh province, by data collection method of 170 peasants’ households in 4 districts: Cau Ngang, Cang Long, Chau Thanh and Tieu Can in Tra Vinh province, Vietnam. The authors use multivariate regression analysis method. The study has found the factors such as gender of households’s heads, ages of households’ heads, education levels, the number of family members, dependency rates, application of technical advances, production areas affecting the income of peasants in these areas. Since then, the study has implied a policy to improve the income of peasants. For example, it could be very important for us to focus on training science and technology in agriculture, diversify crops and livestock in agriculture, improve techniques and enhance education levels to increase income for peasants in Tra Vinh province in the future.
