Since the new period, the continuous improvement of my country’s economic level has promoted the development of education, and the deficiencies that have existed in education in the past have gradually emerged. At present, in order to train more high-quality talents, it has become more social consensus to carry out education reforms. Oboe teaching, as an organic combination of art and education, should follow the development of the times, eliminate backward teaching methods, optimize teaching according to scientific teaching methods, and cultivate more high-quality artistic talents for the country.

Problem-based teaching method (PBTM), which is one of the student-centered teaching methods, has been found by scholars as an effective teaching method that enhances students’ academic performance and knowledge retention in the teaching and learning of several subjects, including accounting. But, no known study has simplified PBTM processes for use in the classrooms in the teaching and learning of accounting. This seems to have made its application in the teaching and learning of accounting at tertiary and basic/postbasic levels difficult. This study, therefore, has simplified the Problem-based teaching method (PBTM) for use in the teaching and learning of accounting at basic/postbasic and tertiary levels in the education sector in Nigeria. This research study was considered because of the environment where the teaching and learning of accounting usually take place in the nation. The study anchors on Social learning theory, which states that, as learners actively participate in the classroom work through problem-solving, advancement in knowledge occurs. The study concludes that accounting could be taught effectively at any education level in Nigeria using this simplified PBTM to enhance students’ academic performance and knowledge retention.

Background. The article discusses the problems of introducing optional classes into the secondary school — a fundamentally new mass form of education, examines the methods and techniques of teaching and their appropriate use in optional classes. It is necessary to take into account the fact that the choice of students in elective classes is based on the principle of voluntariness. Methods. The article expresses the importance of focusing mathematical electives on the development of teaching methods for topics and sections of mathematics that are included in high school programs. Results. 1. It should be noted that the students of mathematical electives themselves prefer creative forms and methods of teaching and strive not to be passive listeners. 2. Characterizing the whole complex of teaching methods used in elective classes in mathematics, it should be noted that in the proper sense of the word teaching methods are used here the same as in teaching the basic course of mathematics. 3. In the general course of mathematics, the teaching method is used only fragmentarily, the essence of which lies in the independent disclosure of new content by students with the unobtrusive help of the teacher. Conclusion. What is described in this article should not be understood as a decisive rejection of lectures in general. On the contrary, under certain conditions, a lecture method of presentation (say, a survey lecture on a complex problem) can be useful.

Scientific literacy indicates that science has value outside scientific practice. This idea and reality is hardly modern, although we lose sight of this history. Unfortunately, PISA study at 1999-2015 and several works on that periods, has shows that common science teachings dont optimally guide students to achieve scientific literacy. As matter of fact, the answer to what is best teaching method to achieve scientific literacy has not been obtained yet. By proposing this work, we are consider that thematic learning as an alternative to guide students on achieve scientific literacy. Thematic learning is an instructional method of teaching in which emphasis is given on choosing a specific theme for teaching one or more concepts . It is based on integrating various information and use it to demonstrate the topic. Pedagogy of thematic learning is based on its exploration of broad areas in one theme. We dont deny that the concept of integrating subjects to teach in Indonesian schools, generally is not new and has not been very successful in the past. In addition, some people consider thematic learning as an opportunity while others view it as having problems. However, the answer to how thematic learning education implementation has not been studied yet comprehensively. Therefore, thematic learning education’s lesson plans is very important to be designed then implemented. This work constructs lesson plan for guide students on achieve scientific literacy, using R&D approach four-D model that reduced into three stages: define, design, and develop. It gained lesson plan, students worksheets, also assessment test as well, that validated by experts and practitioners nor reliability counted based exclusively on test. The final test of any teaching methods lies, of course, in implementation. The implementation of this work is yet to do.

Television News has been a resorted platform for Indian viewers over the past decades. A majority of Indian viewers are known to trust this platform for its highly expected one-stop, credible, professionally opinionated sense of reporting.  News channels have become platforms for celebrity journalists and anchors to exercise their authority. News organisations have become backbones of information and public opinion and journalists and their organisational agenda have taken this forward.  With bold and competitive strategies used to enable news presentations, it is essential to examine and recognize existing Television news narrative conventions and practices that have gained momentum in recent years. Through a qualitative analytical approach taken for this research study, it is clear that narrative conventions exist and modify, thus producing fashionable and modernized forms of presentation techniques during prime time. With a clear organisational norm and genre of discourse shared by Indian English television channels today, the paper highlights persisting organisational norms, unconventional discourses, rhetoric (audio and visual) and music – a contributing element as existing contributors of narrative conventions.
