Not achieving the Key Performance Index (KPI) target within 5 consecutive years can be used as an indicator of the lack of maximum management in the company in facing competition. In-depth considerations are needed to answer the problems that occur related to this performance decline. Referring to several studies conducted related to motivation and performance, it is known that many variables can affect performance. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of transformational, democratic and situational leadership styles on employee performance at PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero), Tbk Sharia Medan Branch Office. The population in this study were all employees who worked at PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero), Tbk Sharia Medan Branch Office. Many samples in this study were as many as 50 respondents. Data were collected using observations and questionnaires. The data is tested using validity and reliability tests, and the data must meet the elements of the classical assumption test. Furthermore, the data analysis test was carried out using multiple regression analysis; t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination.The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence on the transformational, democratic and situational leadership style either partially or simultaneously. The amount of Transformational Leadership, Democratic Leadership and Situational Leadership explains that employee performance is 0.689 or equal to 68.90% while the remaining 31.10% is explained by other variables. Introduction: The success of an organization is determined by its human ‎resources. Work engagement leads to higher productivity and performance of the organization. Leaders seek to understand the impact of ‎their leadership style on work engagement. This is even more important in educational organizations but research in this area is insufficient. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between department ‎manager’s leadership styles and faculty member’s work engagement in some Iranian universities of medical ‎sciences‎. Methods: This was a descriptive-analytical correlational study. 149 people including faculty members and department managers with at least 6 months of work experience were selected through the convenience sampling method. Data collection tools included ‎a demographic questionnaire, a multi-factor leadership questionnaire, and a Schaufeli & Bakker work engagement questionnaire whose validity and reliability were examined. ‎Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 16. Result: A total of 114 faculty members with 13.42 ± 9.75 and 35 department managers with 19.91 ± 8.67 work experience participated in this study. Faculty members reported high work engagement. There was a positive and significant relationship between work engagement and interactional (P = 0.010) and transformational leadership (P = 0.001). ‎There was a significant difference between manager’s and employee’s views on the interactional ‎and transformational leadership (P < 0.001). Conclusion: Managers can promote job engagement by selecting the proper leadership style, and the advantages can be leveraged to boost organizational productivity.

The study examined the impact of leadership style on organizational performance in selected Banks, in Ibadan Nigeria. Purposive sampling technique was adopted in selecting a total of sixty (60) respondents as sample for the study, while relevant data was gathered with the aid of a structured questionnaire. One hypothesis was formulated and inferential statistical tool was used to analyze the data specifically Pearson product moment correlation was used to examine the relationship between leadership style dimensions and organizational performance, while Regression analysis was used to examine the significant effect of leadership style dimensions on followers and performance. Findings showed positive and negative correlation between leadership style dimensions and organizational performance. It was also found that leadership style dimensions jointly predict organizational performance, which counted for 23% variance of performance. The study concluded that transformational and democratic leadership style should be employed by the Banks’ management in order to wax stronger in a global competitive environment.

It has been agreed upon by the researchers that leadership style in an organization causes the quality of employee performance. Moreover, organizational citizenship behavior is also determined by the style of leadership in an organization. The question is what type of leadership style is determining these behaviors. In this study, the impact of transformational leadership on employee's task performance and citizenship behavior is studied. Transformational leadership was found to have a significant positive impact on employees OCB and performance further; it was also found out that OCB moderates the relationship of transformational leadership with employee's performance. It is concluded that there may be some incongruent behaviors or perceptions among the leader and his subordinates.

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of situational leadership style, organizational culture and compensation on performance of employees. The methods used in this research is descriptive method. The object of this research is all staff office division who worked in PT. CIMB NIAGA Kuningan Plaza Branch Office with a population 75 people. The sampling using the method of population (census) is to examine the entire population. The approach used in this research is a Structural Equation Models (SEM) with Smart analysis tools-PLS.The results showed situational leadership style gives a positive and significant influence on employee performance.organizational culture gives a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Compensation provides a positive and significant effect on performance employees. This is evidenced from the results of hypothesis testing (t-test) which shows the significance value of the independent variables.

The study population was all employees of PT. Panin Bank Cabang Atmo Palembang which totaled 30 people, the study sample using sampling satured with details of the sample to be tested instrumen and sample data analysis by 37 respondens. From the discussion that has been described, then conclusions can be drawn as follows; The results of testing the research hypothesis there is an effect of Motivation on the Performance of employees of PT.Panin Bank Branch Atmo Palembang, the results of testing the hypothesis that there is no influence of the Democratic leadership style on the performance of employees of PT. The aims of study are to examine and analyze the influence of situational leadership style and compensation on employee performance with job satisfaction as intervening variable. This research was conducted at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Denpasar Branch Office with population and sample of all employees working at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Denpasar Branch Office, which are 64 people. All data obtained from the questioner distribution is feasible to be used, then analyzed using model of structural equation based on variance known as Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The result of the research shows that (1) situational leadership impact  positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (2) compensation impact positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (3) job satisfaction has positive and significant effect to employee's performance, (4) situational leadership has positive and (6) situational leadership impact positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction, (7) compensation impact positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. (5) Compensation have impact a negative effect on employee performance. The implication of this research is that situational leadership can be improved by paying attention to exemplary in order to increase employee performance. Compensation can be increased by paying attention to incentive to sacrifice to increase employee performance. Job satisfaction can be enhanced by paying attention to the superiority of employee's ability to improve employee performance last employee performance can be improved by taking into account the responsibility.

  Organizational culture and leadership are part of human resources which are one of the capital and have a very important role for the success of a company or organization because good human resource management is the key to the successful achievement of the company's goals. The success of an organization in achieving its goals in addition to requiring a good organizational culture, also depends on the implementation of the leadership style. A strong leadership style in the organization is used to direct all available resources in achieving goals and optimizing success in a company. This study aims to determine to test and analyze the influence of Organizational Culture and Transformational Leadership Style on Employee Performance at RTTL.EP. The aspects studied are the employee's work culture, the leadership style of a leader, and the impact of the process of the two variables which will result in employee job performance. The phenomenon in this research is explored with quantitative methods. Data collection techniques are by distributing research questionnaires, interviews, and collecting secondary data. The sample taken was 180 samples of RTTL.EP employees.  The results of this study are expected to be used as a work evaluation to improve organizational culture, leadership, and performance, this research can be used as a direction in improving employee performance at RTTL.EP so that it is always in line with the Vision and Mission of RTTL.EP, which is to provide quality programs to the audience.

The purpose of this study are: 1. To explain the presence or absence of influence of leadership style, work motivation and work discipline on the performance of employees Public Works Department and Spatial Planning Padang City. 2. Measuring the magnitude of the influence of leadership style, organizational culture and organizational commitment to the performance of employees of Public Works and Spatial Planning Padang City. This research was conducted in August 2017 at Public Works Department and Spatial Planning of Padang City The samples used in this study were 83 respondents. The independent variable in this research is Leadership Style (X1), Work Motivation (X2) and Work Discipline (X3). The dependent variable is Employee Performance (Y) Data collection techniques are questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using Descriptive Analysis and Inferential Analysis. To know the influence of independent variable to dependent variable partially, used t test. While to know the influence of independent variable to dependent variable simultaneously, used F test. The assumption used in validity test is if R-count&gt; R-table item declared valid. The R-arithmetic shown in the table above, from each item indicates that R-arithmetic&gt; R-table so the item is declared valid. Leadership Style (X1), Work Motivation (X2), Work Discipline (X3) and Performance (Y) Valid. All of the research variables had Cronbach's alpha values above 0.70 and thus expressed reliably or reliably. The value of Cronbach's alpha variable Leadership Style (X1) is 0.857, Job Motivation (X2) is 0.813, Job Discipline (X3) is 0.736, and the performance variable (Y) is 0.844. In the hypothesis testing of the study found the result that the significance value of leadership style variable (X1) is with the value (sign β = 0,049, p &lt;0,05), Work Motivation variable (X2) with value (sign β = 0.001 p &lt;0.05) , and Work Discipline variable (Y) with value (sign β = 0,041 p &lt;0,05). With the finding of sign β above mentioned, it is stated that Leadership Style (X1), Work Motivation (X2) and Work Discipline (X3) have a significant effect on performance (Y) of Public Works and Spatial Planning Official of Padang City. The magnitude of the influence of the three variables on the performance of employees of Public Works Department and Spatial Planning Padang City is 27.8% (R2 = 0.278).
