Aim. To study the peculiarities of regeneration of fine-gauge reticulated titanium nickelide in near-defective tissues of the palate.Material and methods. The work was carried out on 10 female rabbits of the Shin Shila breed weighing 2,7-3,0 kg; an experimental investigation was carried out in the Central Research Laboratory of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University. As the implantation material, we used a fine mesh titanium nickelide with a thickness of 40-50 microns threads and the size of 50x50 microns cells. Results and discussion. The morphological study revealed that after the surgery the mucous membrane covering the implant was edematous with foci of hyperemia and hemorrhages. Vessels were dilated and full-blooded, small and medium caliber vessels were constricted. In the zone of anastomosis, there were prevailing changes of inflammatory character with slight activation of local immunity. Fifteen days later the mucous membrane in the anastomosis zone partially recovered. Local immunity activation contributes to the restoration of normal structures in the implant area. Later it was noticed that as soon as blood supply to the implant zone was restored almost immediately from the areas bordering the operation zone the sprouting of the covering epithelium cells began.Conclusion. Regeneration processes in the artificially created defective areas of the palate, at the use of the titanium fine mesh nickelide begin on the border of the implant material contact with the tissues of the peri-defective zone at the expense of the local immune reactions activation with the following gradual transition to the other areas.

ABSTRACTSecond-century CE (common era) household pottery sherds found in the city ofNapoca(present day Cluj-Napoca, Romania) in Roman Dacia were investigated by polarized light optical microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and cold field emission scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy to obtain information on technology, raw materials and site of production. Compositionally, all samples are similar with comparable fine and semi-fine microstructures and oriented microtextures. Optically, there is a gradual transition from microcrystalline to an amorphous illitic-muscovitic matrix. The small aplastic inclusions are mostly quartz and feldspar. Fine-grained carbonate aggregates are distributed inhomogeneously in the ceramic body. Well-preserved Middle Miocene foraminifera tests are characteristic of the ceramics. The gradual thermal changes of the matrix and the newly formed phases upon firing, such as ‘ceramic melilite’, Fe-gehlenite, clinopyroxene, glass, hematite and some maghemite support inferences regarding the technological constraints in producing the pottery. The firing took place in a mostly oxidizing atmosphere and the temperature extended from at least 850°C to >900°C. The Middle Miocene marly clay from the area surrounding the site shows similar mineralogical and micropalaeontological contents to those of the ceramic specimens and is the best candidate for the raw material used for local production of the Roman pottery.

The aim of the work is to study the condition of the local immunity of stomach when there is bronchial asthma and the role of affection of some its factors in the formation of gastro duodenal pathology in this category of patients. 302 patients, both male and female were examined in the age of 18—60 with exogenous and mixed bronchial asthma. Gastro duodenal zone of all patients and local immunity of stomach in 65 patients were examined. The condition of the local immunity of the stomach was evaluated according to the content of secretory antibody A (sIgA), antibody G (IgG), circling immune complexes, activity of lysozyme in stomachic secretion. 68 patients (22,5%) have erosive affections of gastro duodenal zone. It is revealed that pathology of gastro duodenal zone is developed with the local deficit sIgA and rise of the content IgG in stomachic secretion. Dose-dependent effect of the long term peroral therapy by the systematic glucocorticosteroids at bronchial asthma on the pathology of gastro duodenal zone and local immunity of the stomach is revealed. Lowering the content of IgG and circling immune complexes in stomachic secretion and immune complex reactions in mucous membrane of the stomach, physiological doses lower the frequency of erosive affections of gastro duodenal zone. Treatment by supraphysiological doses of systematic glucocorticosteroids brings on disruption of specific protection section in mucous membrane of the stomach. It leads to the rise of erosive affections of gastro duodenal zone in this category of patients. Revealed affections of the local humoral immunity of the stomach in the patients have general characteristics and one-directed character of changes with the local immunity of respiratory tract when there is bronchial asthma. It gives the opportunity to suppose the participation of immune system of mucous membrane when having bronchial asthma.

Aim. To establish the effect of acidum succinicum on the activity of enzymes in the blood of cows after calving and the course of uterine involution. Materials and Methods. The study of enzyme activity was carried out in the Central Research Laboratory of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University (Certificate of technical competence № 001/18, issued on September 26, 2018, valid until September 25, 2023). Results of the research. After the use of acidum succinicum in the body of cows of the experimental group, the activity of alanine aminotransferase increased by 12,0 % (p≤0,05), and the activity of aspartate aminotransferase, on the contrary, decreased by 30,0 % (p≤0,001), which indicates a positive effect on hepatocytes. Confirmation of this is the Ritis factor, which increased 1,4 times (p≤0,05). All animal experiments were conducted according to with the recommendations of ARRIVE and the British Animal Act 1986 and Directive 2010/63 / EU on the protection of animals for scientific investigation. In the body of cows of the control group, the activity of alanine and aspartateaminotransferases increased, respectively, by 14,0 % (p≤0,05) and 47,0 % (p≤0,001) against a background of a 1,2-fold decrease (p≤0,05) Ritis factor. A decrease in bilirubin content of 56,0 % (p≤0,001) in the body of cows after the use of acidum succinicum and an increase in its content by 2,2 times (p≤0,001) in the body of control cows indicates liver disease, which is accompanied by affection of its parenchyma, which may be a consequence of intoxication of their body in the last trimester of pregnancy. Conclusion. Acidum succinicum, applied to cows after calving, prevents the development of inflammation of the reproductive system, helps to restore reproductive function, reduces the duration of the service period to 80,0±2,0 days, and the insemination index to 1,3

Prof. IP Voloshin (West. Rhinolaryngo-otiatry. 1925, No. 1), taking into account the well-known works of Bezredk on local immunity, finds that the protective role of the nasal mucosa and upper respiratory tract is reduced to the development of natural local immunity of these organs than the general immunity of the whole organism is acquired from all microorganisms inhabiting the mucous membrane of these pathways.

The Lovozero Alkaline Massif intruded through the Archaean granite-gneiss and Devonian volcaniclastic rocks about 360 million years ago, and formed a large (20 × 30 km) laccolith-type body, rhythmically layered in its lower part (the Layered Complex) and indistinctly layered and enriched in eudialyte-group minerals in its upper part (the Eudialyte Complex). The Eudialyte Complex is composed of two groups of rocks. Among the hypersolvus meso-melanocratic alkaline rocks (mainly malignite, as well as shonkinite, melteigite, and ijolite enriched with the eudialyte-group minerals, EGM), there are lenses of subsolvus leucocratic rocks (foyaite, fine-grained nepheline syenite, urtite with phosphorus mineralization, and primary lovozerite-group minerals). Leucocratic rocks were formed in the process of the fractional crystallization of melanocratic melt enriched in Fe, high field strength elements (HFSE), and halogens. The fractionation of the melanocratic melt proceeded in the direction of an enrichment in nepheline and a decrease in the aegirine content. A similar fractionation path occurs in the Na2O-Al2O3-Fe2O3-SiO2 system, where the melt of the “ijolite” type (approximately 50% of aegirine) evolves towards “phonolitic eutectic” (approximately 10% of aegirine). The temperature of the crystallization of subsolvus leucocratic rocks was about 550 °C. Hypersolvus meso-melanocratic rocks were formed at temperatures of 700–350 °C, with a gradual transition from an almost anhydrous HFSE-Fe-Cl/F-rich alkaline melt to a Na(Cl, F)-rich water solution. Devonian volcaniclastic rocks underwent metasomatic treatment of varying intensity and survived in the Eudialyte Complex, some remaining unchanged and some turning into nepheline syenites. In these rocks, there are signs of a gradual increase in the intensity of alkaline metasomatism, including a wide variety of zirconium phases. The relatively high fugacity of fluorine favored an early formation of zircon in apo-basalt metasomatites. The ensuing crystallization of aegirine in the metasomatites led to an increase in alkali content relative to silicon and parakeldyshite formation. After that, EGM was formed, under the influence of Ca-rich solutions produced by basalt fenitization.

High-pressure granitic orthogneiss of the south-eastern Orlica–Śnieżnik Dome (NE Bohemian Massif) shows relics of a shallow-dipping S1 foliation, reworked by upright F2 folds and a mostly pervasive N-S trending subvertical axial planar S2 foliation. Based on macroscopic observations, a gradual transition perpendicular to the subvertical S2 foliation from banded to schlieren and nebulitic orthogneiss was distinguished. All rock types comprise plagioclase, K-feldspar, quartz, white mica, biotite and garnet. The transition is characterized by increasing presence of interstitial phases along like-like grain boundaries and by progressive replacement of recrystallized K-feldspar grains by fine-grained myrmekite. These textural changes are characteristic for syn-deformational grain-scale melt percolation, which is in line with the observed enrichment of the rocks in incompatible elements such as REEs, Ba, Sr, and K, suggesting open-system behaviour with melt passing through the rocks. The P–T path deduced from the thermodynamic modelling indicates decompression from ~15−16 kbar and ~650–740 ºC to ~6 kbar and ~640 ºC. Melt was already present at the P–T peak conditions as indicated by the albitic composition of plagioclase in films, interstitial grains and in myrmekite. The variably re-equilibrated garnet suggests that melt content may have varied along the decompression path, involving successively both melt gain and loss. The 6–8 km wide zone of vertical foliation and migmatite textural gradients is interpreted as vertical crustal-scale channel where the grain-scale melt percolation was associated with horizontal shortening and vertical flow of partially molten crustal wedge en masse.

In our work, we studied the ultrastructural organization of rat laryngeal mucosa and cartilage at the end of 35 and 42 days of experimental opioid exposure and at the end of 56 days with opioid withdrawal. As a result of our study at the end of the 35th day at the ultrastructural level revealed hypersecretion of goblet cells, mucus contained impurities of lymphocytes, single neutrophils and erythrocytes. In the enlarged lumens of the hemocapillaries of the lamina propria of the mucous membrane and submucosal base of different parts of the larynx, the adhesion of erythrocytes was noted. At the end of 42 days in rats, the changes were characterized by moderate damage to cytoplasmic organelles in epitheliocytes. Alternative changes developed in the chondrocytes of elastic and hyaline cartilages. Marked by an increase in the number of active fibroblasts, next to which were numerous fibrils of collagen fibers. The main substance of connective tissue, near dilated vessels, was impregnated with transudate, which was accompanied by the development of perivasal edema. Glycogen grains and vacuoles filled with neutral fats were visualized in the cytoplasm of chondrocytes. At the end of 56 days in rats with two-week withdrawal of the opioid analgesic, we found the development of alternative processes in the epitheliocytes of different parts of the larynx, as well as in chondrocytes, especially in elastic cartilage. Dyscirculatory processes in vessels of own plate of a mucous membrane and a submucous basis of various departments of a larynx were registered. Necrotic changes developed in the columnar epitheliocytes of the submucosal mucosa. Mitochondria swelled, their matrix brightened, cristae collapsed. The results of the article correspond to the research plan of Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University and are part of the research topic of the Department of Normal Anatomy "Morphofunctional features of organs in pre - and postnatal periods of ontogenesis, under the influence of opioids, food supplements, reconstructive surgery and obesity" 0120U002129) during 2020 - 2024.
