This studi aims to analyze factors affecting people become member of sharia insurance in Palangka Raya, Central Borneo, Indonesia. This research approach uses a quantitative approach. The variables used in this study, product, price, promotion, lifestyle and economic conditions. The method used in data collection using purposive sampling method, by distributing online questionnaires. The number of samples in this study were 42 respondents. The analytical tool used to determine the public's interest in participating in Prudential sharia insurance in Palangka Raya City is to use SPSS 23. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive effect on promotion and lifestyle variables on interest in Prudential sharia insurance, this is evidenced by the F test, which shows a significance level of 0.000. This is because the magnitude of the significance level of the F test from the F count value of 16,215 with the F table value of 2.5, this indicates that the F count value is greater than the F table value (16, 215 > 2.5). In this study, the magnitude of the influence of the Adjusted R Square of the promotion and lifestyle variables is 0,650 or 65% which affecting become sharia insurance participant in Palangka Raya. Meanwhile, based on the results of the T test, it shows that the variables of product, price and economic conditions are not significant. This is because the Palangka Raya is not as big as the cities in the capital, so people who use the services of Sharia Insurance are still not priority for the people of Palangka Raya. This study contributes empirically to the describe sharia insurance in Palangka Raya. In addition, the existing sharia insurance in the Palangka Raya should be re-socialized so that people are more familiar and using sharia insurance services compared to using conventional insurance. Islamic insurance uses the concept of protecting each other. This concept is different from conventional insurance, where participants pay premiums to insurance companies.

<p><em>The growth of sharia insurance in Indonesia continues to occur. This is a sign that the people in Indonesia have good risk management because the company's growth is supported by the increase in customers in sharia insurance companies. This condition must be supported again by the conditions in which the company has a good performance, so the company must find a way to continue to improve its performance. This study is aimed to determine the effect of leverage, firm size, and company age on the financial performance of sharia companies. The method used is through quantitative research using multiple regression. The method of data collection uses a purposive sampling technique carried out to all populations, namely all Islamic insurance companies in Indonesia from 2012 to 2018. The results of the study show that leverage and age of the company do not succeed in influencing financial performance, while firm size has a positive effect on financial performance. Therefore it is important for companies to continue to increase their assets, especially in collecting funds from the public as the company's ingredients in managing their finances to improve their financial performance.</em><em></em></p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong><em>: Age, Financial Performance, Leverage, Size</em>

Satisfaction is feeling happy or disappointed someone who comes from a comparison between the impression of the performance (results) of a product with expectations. Satisfaction is a kind of step comparison between the experience of the evaluation results, can produce something spiritually comfortable, convenient not only because of imagined or expected. While customer satisfaction is a business strategy that consists of software and services designed to increase profits (profits), income (revenue) and customer satisfaction (customer satisfaction).This study aims to determine whether the customer satisfaction on the quality of service that has made Bank Mega Syariah meet the satisfaction level of its customers. As a financial institution for the people of Bank Mega Syariah trying to see firsthand the level of satisfaction of its customers by trying to implement a customer satisfaction Bank Mega Syariah. This research is qualitative. Data were obtained through questionnaires administered directly to the customer as a correspondent in this study. By using the analysis of test validity, reliability, and the F test and T test researchers trying to see the impact of service quality on customer satisfaction Bank Mega Syariah. From observation and testing that has been done shows that the validity of the test results of all valid questions and all questions the reliability test reliably obtained, with a value of 38.327 F test with a significance level of 0.000, far above 0.05 means tangible jointly independent variable (0.002), responsiveness (0.008), and assurance (0.032) significantly affects the dependent variable (Customer satisfaction), while the independent variable empathy (0.260) and Reliability (0124) had no significant effect on customer satisfaction in PT Bank Mega Syariah Padang.

Purpose of the study: this paper aims to determine factors affecting the willingness to join crop insurance. Besides, this paper is the purpose of developing a coffee tree insurance program. Methodology: The authors used a systematic random sampling technique. The authors used the Bayesian Model Average (BMA) that calculated the probability of all independent variables affecting the dependent variable with significance level 0.05. Besides, the data based on 480 coffee farmers in Dak Lak province, Vietnam. Main Findings: Authors calculated the probability of all independent variables affecting the dependent variable with significance level 0.05. Independent variables, including loans, drought risks, educational level, experiences, and productivity. Applications of this study: This result is a vital science document for insurance companies and managers to apply and suggest recommendations for developing coffee tree insurance in the future. Novelty/Originality of this study: Vietnam is an agricultural country, 60-70% of the population lives in rural areas, and agricultural insurance should have a considerable market. Farmers’ agrarian insurance cultivated the coffee trees that are currently underdeveloped and challenging.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of investment returns, premium income and claims for the growth of assets life insurance at the Financial Services Authority. The population in this research are life insurance companies on the Financial Services Authority at period 2014-2017. The analyze technique used is multiple linier regression.The results of calculations with the F test of 7.168 with growth of assets 0.000 means that simultan investment returns, premium income and claims affect the growth of assets. The results of calculations with the t test of the coefficient of investment returns of -3,294 with a significance level of 0.001 smaller than 0.05 then there is the effect of investment returns on the growth of assets, the value of the premium income coefficient of 4,564 with a significance level of 0,000 less than 0.05 then there is an influence of premium income on the growth of assets, and the claims coefficient value of -3,617 with a significance level of 0,000 less than 0.05, there is an influence of the claims on the growth of assets.

The future of sharia insurance in Indonesia is very bright. Rapid economic growth, rising savings rates and the development of the middle class economy bodes well for the Islamic life insurance industry. Sharia life insurance in Indonesia registered in the Financial Services Authority Institute totaling 52 companies. Of the many companies in this study only took 6 (six) companies in the 2013-2018 period. Researchers took in the company PT. Panin Daichi Life, PT. Central Asia Raya Life Insurance, and PT. Life Insurance Manulife Indonesia, PT. AIA Financial, PT. Prudential Life Assurance. In 4 (four) companies have fluctuating report results that are not directly proportional to investment. But the company PT. Sun Life Financial Syariah between funds of Ujrah participants and investment returns always increases. Based on the above background, the formulation of the issue is taken as follows: 1. How is the influence of Tabarru funds' on investment returns in Islamic insurance companies in Indonesia for the period 2013-2018 ?. 2. How is the effect of ujrah on investment returns in sharia insurance companies in Indonesia for the period 2013-2018 ?. 3. How big is the influence of tabarru funds' and ujrah on investment returns in sharia insurance companies in Indonesia for the period 2013-2018? The research objectives are: 1) To determine the effect of Tabarru funds' on investment returns in sharia insurance companies in Indonesia for the period 2013-2018. 2) To find out the effect of ujrah on investment returns in sharia insurance companies in Indonesia for the period 2013-2018. 3) To determine the effect of Tabarru funds' and ujrah on investment returns in sharia insurance companies in Indonesia for the period 2013-2018. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. From the results of the calculation of the simultaneous regression coefficient test (F test) it was concluded that the tabarru funds variable (X1) and the Ujrah variable (X2) simultaneously affect the investment return on Islamic insurance in Indonesia. This can be seen from the simultaneous test (F test), namely the value of Fcount <Ftable (69.945> 3.28) with a significance value of 0.000> 0.05. As the coefficient of determination test (R2) obtained a value of 0.798 which means it can be concluded that the influence of Tabarru funds and Ujrah on investment returns is 79.8% while the remaining 20.2% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

AJB Bumiputera 1912 Meulaboh is an insurance company that has been established for decades until now, it still remains one of the insurance companies that are in demand by the people of Meulaboh. Many products offered by the AJB Bumiputera 1912 Meulaboh is expected to increase the number of life insurance customers and it is is one of the strategies used in the process of increasing the number of insurance customers. As for the results of the study, AJB Bumiputera 1912 followed several stages, namely offering superior products to prospective customers, insurance product price quotes that are tailored to all layers of prospective insurance customers, promotion of insurance products to various prospective insurance customers, the selection of office locations that are very appropriate in the center of Meulaboh City, the selection of employees who work is carried out with a variety of processes in accordance with the applicable operational standards in AJB Bumiputera 1912 throughout Indonesia.

Purpose Despite extensive studies on predictors and antecedents of organizational commitment, empirical research studies on the impact of workplace spirituality on organizational commitment remain scarce. This study aims to examine the impact of the dimensions of workplace spirituality on agents’ organizational commitment in Islamic insurance (Takaful) industry in Malaysia. Design/methodology/approach This study used a positivist research approach, comprising a quantitative basis of enquiry, and gathered data via survey questionnaires. In total, 600 questionnaires were distributed and finally 395 usable cases were selected for analysis. Pearson’s correlation and stepwise multiple regressions analyses were used to analyze the data. Findings The findings indicated that spirituality in the workplace has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. The relationship between each and every component of workplace spirituality and organizational commitment was found to be substantial, positive and significant. The study findings will enable Islamic insurance companies to understand the importance of spirituality in the workplace and will further improve their function and performance by way of enhancing employees’ spirituality in the workplace. This study suggests developing more spiritual training, workshops, lectures and seminars on spirituality at the workplace which will help employees of takaful operators and agencies cope effectively with life problems, reduce stress, boost loyalty and enhance organizational commitment. Originality/value This study raises awareness on the importance of spirituality in the workplace and investigates the influence of its components to enhance organizational commitment, which will ultimately contribute to improving and sustaining human well-being and organizational performance.

Objectives: COVID-19 pandemic has affected public health to a large extent. The rapid contamination of the disease has necessitated social distance and lockdown. Musculoskeletal discomforts are the most common complaints among routine medical complaints. Restraints caused by the pandemic and psycho-social effects have caused such complaints increase. In the present study, the aim is to determine whether there is a difference between the Musculoskeletal System Discomforts of the people before and during the COVID-19 pandemic and to reveal the factors affecting such a difference. Material and Method: This study was carried out in descriptive design. In the study, the study group consisted 1138 people living at different cities of Turkey who accepted to participate in the study. As the data collection tool, the personal information form prepared by the researcher and the “Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaire (T-CMDQ)”, which was developed by Cornell and translated into Turkish by Erdinç et al. who also tested the validity and adaptation of the questionnaire, were used in the study. The test method conducted in computer environment was used as the data collection method. In the study, decision of the ethics committee was taken for the non-interventional practices (Dated 2020 with no. 06). Paired Sample t-Test statistics was used for data comparison in the study. Significance level was accepted as p <0.001. In the study, Cronbach alpha value of the total score of Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaire was found as 0.92. Results: It was determined that there was a statistically significant difference between the total mean scores of the participants before COVID-19 and during COVID-19 (p <0.001). There was a statistically significant difference between the total mean scores of the participants regarding the pain level before COVID-19 and during COVID-19 (p <0.001). Conclusion: During COVID-19, it is determined that there is a decrease in the frequency of feeling pain, aches, and discomfort in body regions, but an increase in the severity of the emergent discomforts.

This research is conducted in order to assess the effect of competency, motivation, and communication on employee’s performance (case studies at Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang West Bandung Regency) partially and simultaneously. There are many factors that affect the employee’s performance, but this research is only limited to the factors of competency, motivation, and communication. The researcher used primary and secondary data. The research approach used is quantitative approach which the samples are 55 civil servants which is assessed by 5 Heads of Fields and 2 Heads Sub-Division. Before analyzing, all research validity and reliability instruments are examined. After the data are valid and reliable then analyzed by using classical assumption test, partial test (t test), and simultaneous test (F test) helping by IBM SPSS version 23 software. The result of analysis showed that competency, motivation, and communication variables are affected positively significantly and partially to the employee’s performance. Competency, motivation, and communication variables simultaneously affected positively and significantly about 54,3% and the rest is about 45,7% affected by other variable that is not observed in this research.
