In Indonesia, a large-scale social restriction policy or commonly known as PSBB has been implemented to further suppress the spread of this virus in Indonesia. The education sector is changing due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The government through the Letter of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 36962 / MPK.A / HK / 2020 concerning Online Learning and Working from Home to Prevent the Spread of Covid-19 as an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The Learning System has changed from face-to-face to online where this research was conducted at the Faculty of Public Health, the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta in 2021. The objective of this study was to determine student perceptions regarding online learning during the Covid-19 period. Descriptive research method design with a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. The sample in this study was four (4) students consisting of one second semester, one fourth semester, and two sixth semesters. This study wants to explore the phenomena experienced by students in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The variables studied include behavior, perception, motivation, action and some of them are grouped into learning impacts, physical linkages, infrastructure, and holistic Islamic practices experienced by students in online learning. The result from The impact of learning is that students feel less interested in learning, less effective, and less understanding. From a physical point of view, eye fatigue is felt, from facilities and infrastructure students feel signal barriers when doing online learning from parental support to support online learning and from Islamic practice in the learning process carried out by several lecturers, in terms of decreased motivation to learn students experience decreased motivation to learn, in terms of student satisfaction, they are not satisfied and want offline learning.

With the advent of computers in education, and the ample availability of online learning and practice environments, enormous amounts of data on learning become available. The purpose of this paper is to present a decade of experience with analyzing and improving an online practice environment for math, which has thus far recorded over a billion responses. We present the methods we use to both steer and analyze this system in real-time, using scoring rules on accuracy and response times, a tailored rating system to provide both learners and items with current ability and difficulty ratings, and an adaptive engine that matches learners to items. Moreover, we explore the quality of fit by means of prediction accuracy and parallel item reliability. Limitations and pitfalls are discussed by diagnosing sources of misfit, like violations of unidimensionality and unforeseen dynamics. Finally, directions for development are discussed, including embedded learning analytics and a focus on online experimentation to evaluate both the system itself and the users’ learning gains. Though many challenges remain open, we believe that large steps have been made in providing methods to efficiently manage and research educational big data from a massive online learning system.

UNSTRUCTURED While health care and public health workers are working on measures to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic, there is an unprecedentedly large number of people spending much more time indoors, and relying heavily on the Internet as their lifeline. What has been overlooked is the influence of the increasing online activities on public health issues. In this article, we pointed out how a large-scale online activity called cyber manhunt may threaten to offset the efficacy of contact tracing investigation, a public health intervention considered highly effective in limiting further transmission in the early stage of a highly contagious disease outbreak such as the COVID-19 pandemic. In the first section, we presented a case to show how personal information obtained from contact investigation and disclosed in part on the media provoked a vehement cyber manhunt. We then discussed the possible reasons why netizens collaborate to reveal anonymized personal information about contact investigation, and specify, from the perspective of public health and public health ethics, four problems of cyber manhunt, including the lack of legitimate public health goals, the concerns about privacy breach, the impact of misinformation, and social inequality. Based on our analysis, we concluded that more moral weight may be given to protecting one's confidentiality, especially in an era with the rapid advance of digital and information technologies.

ABSTRAK : Kepesatan perkembangan teknologi berdampak pada sitem pembelajaran termasuk pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh emergency remote learning terhadap motivasi belajar anak usia dini. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kajian literatur. Berbagai literatur tentang pembelajaran daring dihimpun dalam penelitian ini. Temuan penilitian ini yaitu, pembelajaran daring sebenarnya  dapat  membangkitkan motivasi  belajar  anak  dengan  syarat adanya dukungan dari orangtua dan pendidik, pemanfaatan media seperti  zoom  dan  lainnya  diperlukan untuk membuat pembelajaran agar lebih menarik dan pemanfaatan teknologi belajar  dalam  pendidikan  tidak  dapat  dilepaskan,  maka  perlu  adaptasi antara orangtua, peserta didik dan pendidik dalam pembelajaran daring. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengetahuan tentang dampak pembelajaran daring terhadap motivasi belajar anak usia dini. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah agar melakukan penelitian eksperimen dan penelitian tindakan kelas untuk mengetahui dampak langsung dari pembelajaran daring. ABSTRACT : The rapidity of technological development has an impact on the learning system, including early childhood. This study aims to determine the effect of emergency remote learning on early childhood learning motivation. The research method used literature review research. Various literatures on online learning were collected in this study. The findings of this study are, first, online learning can actually arouse children's learning motivation on the condition that there is support from parents and educators. Second, the use of media such as zoom and others is needed to make learning more interesting. Third, the use of learning technology in education cannot be separated, it is necessary to adapt between parents, students and educators in online learning. The results of this study contribute to knowledge about the impact of online learning on early childhood learning motivation. The recommendation for further research is to carry out experimental research and classroom action research to determine the direct impact of online learning.

Corona virus or covid 19 is a dangerous virus that attacks the human respiratory system. Corona virus able to change the order of almost all of life’s joints in the world of education. In order to break the chain of the covid 19, goverments introduce a pattern of long range learning by means online learning. Application of this learning model certainly brings its own impact to students. The puspose of this study is to know the impact students are experiencing class 5 country primary school Pandawei during the online learning system. The method used was qualitative research methods with data collection techniques thrugh interviews and observations. The analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive. The main find of this research is increased students study habits using this online learning methods because the students are becoming accustomed  with technology so they’re easier discovering additional information about the lesson materials received search school.

Changes in behavior and normal habits during the Covid-19 pandemic are a challenge faced by any part of the world. A sudden change in habit will certainly have a very significant impact on some circles such as students. Changes in the learning system that were previously carried out offline and changed suddenly online certainly have an impact on the readiness of students to prepare themselves. This study aims to examine the impact of quantitative changes in learning habits from offline systems to online systems by using questionnaires distributed throughout the capital city of Indonesia, namely DKI Jakarta. All of these studies were carried out comprehensively and massively to obtain valid and actual data. Several analytical methods are used such as validity tests, ANOVA tests, and Likert scale tests which are useful for (1) ensuring all data is in good Validity, (2) analyzing and drawing some conclusions from changes in student behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic. From the results of the study, it was found that 47% of students living in the capital city of Indonesia already understand the dangers of the Covid-19 pandemic, the online learning system that has been carried out can become a new habit as much as 54%, the problem that hinders students during this pandemic is Mager (lazy to move) by 36% and the most popular learning system during the pandemic was online learning together with teachers by 68%. (2) analyze and draw some conclusions from changes in student behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic. Perubahan kebiasaan secara mendadak tentu akan berdampak sangat signifikan terhadap beberapa kalangan seperti kalangan pelajar. Perubahan sistem belajar yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara luring dan berubah tiba-tiba secara daring tentu berdampak pada kesiapan pelajar dalam mempersiapkan diri mereka masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak perubahan dari kebiasaan belajar yang berubah dari sistem luring menjadi sistem daring secara kuantitatif dengan mengunakan kuisioner yang disebar ke seluruh wilayah ibukota Indonesia, yaitu DKI Jakarta. Semua penelitian ini dilakukan secara komprehensif dan masif guna mendapatkan data yang valid dan aktual.  Beberapa metode analisis digunakan seperti uji validitas, uji ANOVA dan uji skala Likert yang berguna untuk (1) memastikan seluruh data dalam valitidas yang baik, (2) menganalisa dan menarik beberapa kesimpulan dari perubahan perilaku pelajar selama pandemi Covid-19 ini berlangsung. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pelajar yang tinggal di Ibukota Indonesia sebesar 47% sudah memahami bahaya pandemi Covid-19, sistem belajar daring yang telah dilakukan bisa menjadi kebiasaan baru sebanyak 54%, masalah yang menjadi penghambat pelajar selama pandemi ini adalah Mager (malas gerak) sebesar 36% dan sistem belajar yang paling diminati selama pandemi adalah belajar daring bersama-sama dengan guru sebesar 68%.

For more than a year, the way people work and learn witnessed dramatic changes on the back of the Covid-19 pandemic. While workers were supported and provided with trainings and a variety of sources of information, students did not benefit from the same ‘privilege’. In Romania, students had to adapt to online learning system since March 2020. To properly assess the impact of online learning on students’ health (both physical and mental), the authors conducted a study on students at Politehnica University of Timisoara. As part of this study, subjects were assessed using ‘Rapid Office Strain Assessment’ (ROSA). While some of them learn in ergonomic conditions, there are others exposed to high postural risk (primarily generated by use of inappropriate furniture). This assessment is part of a larger ergonomic intervention focused on educating students on the importance of creating ergonomic conditions at home with the aim to improve quality of life.

Objectives: Exposure to radiology in undergraduate medical education is often restricted by other curriculum demands. Designing an effective radiology elective for medical students who choose to supplement their education can be challenging as it is often a passive observership-style elective. In this study, we examined the impact of incorporating an online learning platform and electronic book into radiology electives to stimulate active learning. Materials and Methods: We enrolled 23 students who pursued a 2-week diagnostic radiology elective at our institution. Their radiology knowledge prior to the elective was assessed using 2 pretests. Students had opportunities to work with radiologists to review clinical imaging, attend academic rounds, and learn from the online learning resources. Their knowledge after the elective was assessed by readministering the 2 tests as “posttests.” Students also ranked their perception of the elective experience and educational resources on a Likert scale from 1 to 5. Results: There were statistically significant increases of 13.4% ( P < .0001) in mean test 1 scores and 6.8% in mean test 2 scores ( P = .001). Students also had favorable perceptions of the radiology elective experience and rated the electronic book (median score: 5 of 5) and online learning platform (4.5 of 5) as valuable educational resources. Conclusion: The implementation of an electronic book and online learning platform improved knowledge in radiology and resulted in positive student perceptions of the elective experience. This supports the use of online resources to facilitate independent self-learning for future radiology electives.

AbstractObjectiveThe aim of this study was to enhance public health preparedness for incidents that involve the large-scale release of a hazardous substance by examining factors likely to influence public responses to official guidance on how to limit their exposure.MethodsAn online demographically representative survey was conducted in the United Kingdom (n = 601) and Poland (n = 602) to test the strength of association of trust in authorities, anxiety, threat, and coping appraisals with the intention to comply with advice to shelter in place following a hypothetical chemical spill. The impact of ease of compliance and style of message presentation were also examined.ResultsParticipants were more likely to comply if at home when the incident happened, but message presentation had little impact. Coping appraisals and trust were key predictors of compliance, but threat appraisals were associated with noncompliance. Anxiety was seen to promote behavioral change. UK participants were more likely to comply than Polish participants.ConclusionsSuccessful crisis communications during an emergency should aim to influence perceptions regarding the efficacy of recommended behaviors, the difficulties people may have in following advice, and perceptions about the cost of following recommended behaviors. Background: Availability of data on health and its determinants at the local area level is a prerequisite for developing interventions and public health campaigns locally. Collecting self-reported data by means of telephone interviews may rapidly provide relevant data. The reliability of such data may be questioned. In this study, we sought to compare exact similar questions addressed by a recent telephone survey with a previous large scale and very comprehensive population health survey (The Nord-Trøndelag Health Study 2006-08 – HUNT3), conducted a few years earlier in the same geographical region. This was done in order to examine the reliability of telephone interviews as a method to provide data on health and determinants to enable municipal authorities to get a sufficient overview.Methods: One rural and one urban municipality covered by HUNT3 using paper questionnaires were resurveyed through computer assisted telephone interviews. The weighted results for 34 dichotomized variables were compared using chi square tests.Results: The comparison of results between the rural and the urban samples and HUNT3 involved 68 chi square tests, 25 of which (38%) displayed significant differences. The ability of the telephone survey to replicate the results from HUNT3 was only moderate, but with differences between survey themes. Comparability was poor for adverse life events and mental health factors, fair for behavioural and risk factors, and skewed for general health and life satisfaction. The replication was good for reports on the less sensitive and subjective theme of cultural participation.Conclusion: The comparability of the data differed between themes. The differences may be ascribed to mode effects and to some extent the time lag between the surveys. Because replicability on issues that may be more embarrassing or stressful to recall appears to be poorer, and the more subjective self-assessments of health and well-being appear skewed, it is reasonable to conclude that there is an interviewer effect in the telephone survey. The use of a questionnaire through mail or web to monitor public health in municipalities should be considered as an alternative.
