The purpose of the study is to examine and evaluate the impact the “flipped classroom” model-based learning environment accompanied by multimedia-based textbook entitled “English through Soft Skills” provides for the learning styles of the university students majoring in Economics. The study sought to identify tangible (seemingly measurable) and intangible (difficult to measure) gains the “flipped classroom” learning model brought to both students and instructors. A multimedia textbook “English through Soft Skills” was developed for the study. A multi method approach was used to gather feedback and quantitative methods were used to analyze the data. Specifically, Covariance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) software as SPSS AMOS and Textalyzer were used to process the students’ responses to survey questions. The results reported a shift in student preferences in learning, including a greater desire to engage independently with computer-assisted work, quicker problem solving, increased motivation to study, and improved time management and lifelong learning skills. Additionally, there was a shift in teaching approaches of the instructors, namely from a teacher-centered to a student-centered approach. The study may better inform building the learning process for the students with limited learning opportunities or studying the distance learning model. Despite the experimental group involving only the students majoring in Economics, this methodology could be applicable to teaching English for Specific Purposes to other majors, such as: Business, International Relations, Psychology, Law. The research is advancing the knowledge of integration multimedia tools into teaching, and specifically the use of multimedia textbooks in the “flipped classroom” settings to deliver Business English course to the students majoring in Economics

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, competence, compensation on employee performance and the impact on organizational performance on the employees of the Directorate General of Agricultural Infrastructure and Facilities. This study used a survey method by distributing questionnaires to employees of the Directorate General of Agricultural Infrastructure and Facilities. As the respondent. This research method uses quantitative methods with technical analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the AMOS version 22 application. The research sample used in this study were 158 respondents. The results showed that leadership style, competence and compensation directly had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Leadership style, competence and compensation directly have a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. Leadership style, competence and compensation indirectly have a positive and significant effect on organizational performance through employee performance.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to find out the level of influence of Islamic attributes and pull motivation to the satisfaction of Muslim tourists visiting Indonesia. Furthermore, this study may reveal where variables have a strong influence on the variable satisfaction of Muslim tourists. In addition, this study also wanted to know if Islamic attributes can influence the satisfaction of Muslim tourists with pull motivation as a moderating variable. Design/methodology/approach Using quantitative methods, this study analyzed the results of questionnaires that have been distributed to 200 Muslim tourist respondents who have visited Indonesia. To declare the hypotheses, the collected data were analyzed with structural equation modeling-partial least square using SmartPLS application version 3.2.7. Findings From this study, it was discovered that pull motivation has more effect on the satisfaction of Muslim tourists visiting Indonesia. Other results showed that both Islamic attributes and pull motivation simultaneously affect the satisfaction of Muslim tourists. Furthermore, Islamic attributes can affect pull motivation and pull motivation can also become an intermediary variable in bridging the impact of Islamic attributes on the satisfaction of Muslim tourists. Research limitations/implications The limitations of this study include the relatively small sample used and not yet taking foreign tourists as respondents. Besides that, you can also add several variables to complement this research in the future either as an intervening variable or a mediator variable. Practical implications To increase the satisfaction of Muslim tourists traveling to Indonesia, policymakers in Indonesia must further improve the facilities of the pull motivation aspect such as the cleanliness of tourist attractions, exotic locations and hygienic shopping centers. In addition, aspects of Islamic attributes must also be updated, such as aspects of adequate worship facilities and tourist attractions that apply the concept of halal for Muslims. Originality/value The originality of this study on the pull motivation variable as an intervening variable and adding the Islamic attribute variable in the case of Muslim tourist satisfaction.

In this article, the authors examine the impact of status orientations on consumer purchase preferences for foreign products, an emerging disposition in Vietnam. Both qualitative (in-depth interviews and focus groups) and quantitative methods (survey with urban Vietnamese consumers) were employed in this investigation. The results of structural equation modeling (SEM) provided empirical evidence for the positive influence of modern status orientation (MSO) on willingness to buy imported products. Traditional status orientation (TSO) was found not to be a predictor of willingness to buy. Consistent with the findings from literature, consumer ethnocentrism was negatively related to willingness to buy imported products. Implications for public policy and marketers pertaining to the emerging proclivity of status-seeking foreign purchase and the social motives underlying this phenomenon are provided.

At present, the hotel business is dealing with increasingly competitive competition. Creative marketing methods are developed to anticipate the competition. The implementation of creative marketing programs is a form of new strategies in the hotel industry. This study aims to prove the impact of the novelty and meaningfulness of creative marketing programs on hotel performance. The study is conducted with quantitative methods using primary data through a survey of owners/hotel general managers in Palembang city. A total of 75 questionnaires are distributed to the owners/hotel general managers. The number of questionnaires used in this study is 65 (87%). Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis using Warp PLS version 5.0 software is used to test of hypothesis. The results of the study indicate that the novelty and meaningfulness creative marketing program has a positive effect on the hotel's performance in Palembang city.

This study will examine the relationship between the impact of service failure and service recovery on customer satisfaction and loyalty. The research objective was to determine the effect of service failure can be up to customer loyalty. The object of this research is customers who use expedition services located in Jakarta. This research method uses quantitative methods using a questionnaire measuring instrument. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. To analyze the data using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis tools with Lisrel. The results of this study conclude that, first, service failure affects service recovery. Secondly, service recovery affects customer loyalty. Third, service recovery affects customer satisfaction, and the last fourth of customer satisfaction also affects customer loyalty.

A survey based design in research is followed due to numeric and accurate description of paradigms covering attitudes and opinions of the respondents. The purpose of survey research is to gather data from groups of people by utilizing a questionnaire. A questionnaire was designed for B school students titled “Perception among B School Graduates about the importance of Soft Skills Training in enhancing Employability Competency”. It was to analyze the impact of soft skills training on the employability competency of B-School graduates. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to establish convergent validity, discriminant validity and internal consistency (reliability) of the above questionnaire before conducting the survey. Convergent validity ideally connotes to the measure of constructs to be theoretically related and actually is related. Discriminant validity on the other hand denotes the distance between items, and that they should not be too closely related to one another. Convergent validity is proven when constructs that are similar respond to one another, while Discriminant validity is said to exist if we can sufficiently differentiate two of the dissimilar constructs. Reliability refers to the confirmation of the instrument to be free from errors. Structural Equation Modeling was used to establish internal consistency, which indicates how well items score when it comes to the test of consistency against one another. The main purpose of this study was to evaluate and test the validity and reliability of the research instrument used to analyze the impact of soft skills training on the employability competency of B-School graduates

This study aims to analyze the learning model of municipal students. The approach used in this study is a quantitative correlational study with an ex-post facto design and path analysis. The instrument used is a questionnaire and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with WarpPLS 4.0 statistical software to analyze the data. The results show that there are positive and significant effects of self-confidence on learning motivation, and the effects of learning style are also positive and significant on learning motivation. There is a positive and significant effect of parent encouragement on learning motivation. The effect of student’s self-confidence on learning motivation also shows positive and significant. The impact of learning motivation on learning outcomes is significantly positive. While the impact of self-confidence on learning outcomes also shows positive results. The effect of parental encouragement on learning outcomes. This study aims to investigate the impact of parental career behaviors on undergraduate student’s career exploration and the mediating role of career self-efficacy. In the literature it is suggested that some social and individual factors facilitate students’ career exploration. Therefore, parental career behaviors and career self-efficacy is considered as predictors of student’s career exploration attitudes within the scope of the study. In this respect, data which are collected from 405 undergraduate students having an education on tourism and hotel management field by the survey method are analyzed by using the structural equation modeling. The results of the study indicate that parental career behaviors which are addressed support; interference and lack of engagement have a significant effect on student’s career exploration behaviors such as intended-systematic exploration, environment exploration and self-exploration. In addition, it has been found that one of the dimensions of parental career behaviors addressed as a lack of engagement has a significant effect on career self-efficacy levels of students. However, research results indicate that student’s career self-efficacy has a significant effect on only the self-exploration dimension. On the other hand, career self-efficacy has a partial mediating role between lack of engagement attitudes of parents and career exploration behaviors of students.

The study purpose is to analyse the impact of training, competence, motivation and leadership towards performance either directly or through job satisfaction as a mediator variable. As many as 55 staff are considered as respondents in this research, and census method is used as the sampling method. Primary data in this study were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Likert Scale. Secondary data are obtained from the organization structure Sukamandi Apparatus Training Centre (BDA), performance appraisal, staff attendance, information system and personnel management. Structural Equation Modeling Analisis of Moment Structures (SEM-AMOS) is used to process and analyze data. This study shows staff with high education, competence and leadership have a significant effect on performance, While the job satisfaction is significant in mediating the influence of training, competence and leadership on performance. Next on the employee with low education, training, competence, motivation and leadership have a significant influence on performance, while job satisfaction is significant in mediating the effect of competence and leadership on staff performance.   Keywords:  training, competence, motivation, leadership, job satisfaction, performance
