Peer teaching is a strategy that allows the students to teach the new content to each other, and they must be accurately guided by instructors.     The researcher proposes that the use of students peer teaching  may promote students' achievement  and ensure the engagement of all the students in the learning process. Therefore, the researcher employs it as a teaching method aiming at investigating its  effect on Iraqi EFL students' achievement in the course of Library and Research Work .      The study hypothesizes that there is no significant difference between the students' achievement who are taught library and research work by students peer teaching  and that of the students taught by the traditional way. The experimental design of the study is Parallel Groups, Random Assignment, posttest. Each group consists of 35 students, chosen randomly from the Third Year Students at the Department of English in the College of Basic Education. Both groups were matched in terms of their age and parents' education. The experiment was fulfilled in the first course for 15 weeks during the academic year 2016-2017.       The same materials were presented to both groups. This included   units from Writing Research Paper by Lester D. . Post-test was constructed and exposed  The t-test for  independent samples was used to analyze the results and it is found out that there is a statistical difference between the two groups in their achievement because the calculated t- value 2.635 is bigger than the tabulated t- value which is 2.000, and also shown the superiority of the experimental group. The results indicate that the experimental group, who was taught Library and Research Work by peer teaching   was better than the control group, who was taught according to the traditional way. So, the null hypothesis is rejected. Finally, some recommendations and suggestions are presented in the light of the study findings. to a jury of experts to verify its validity and it was administered to both groups.

The purpose of this study is to examine the efficiency of a group counseling program based on psychodrama in improving self-awareness and reducing tension among tenth grade students in Qalqilia City and examining the nature and the direction of the relationship between self-consciousness and tension, the sample of study consisted of (20) students whom were distributed randomly equally to two groups the first is an experimental contains (10) students and the second is a control group contains (10) students in light of a tension variable, they are drawn out from (152) students in governmental schools who obtained the highest stress scale for the current study, a counseling program has been built based on the principles and methodology methods of psychodrama which contained (13) sessions, the current study used a measure of self-awareness and tension before and after the program. The researcher used the semi-experimental design to verify the validity of the two instruments they were presented to a group of specialized consultants. The stability coefficient was then calculated using Cronbach Alpha, where the stability value of the self-awareness scale was 0.81 and tension scale was 0.90. The mean and standard deviations were calculated and the Shapiro-Wilk test was used to examine the normal distribution probability of the variables of self-awareness and tension. The results revealed in the non-moderate distribution of individual responses to the two variables. The Mann-Whitney test, the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, and the Spearman Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient test were used. The results showed differences between the experimental and control groups in the post-test of self-awareness and stress measures and for group members this is an indication of the effectiveness of the psychodrama -based counseling program in improving self-awareness and reducing stress among tenth grade students in Qalqilia city and the absence of differences in experimental group members between the tribal and remote testing methods of self-awareness and differences in group members for testing between the two pre-test and post- test of stress. The researcher recommends that self-awareness and stress in the adolescent group should be addressed through the psychodrama -based counseling programs.

Ghana abounds in indigenous resources but little mathematics has been conceptualised. The study therefore applied the four trends of real mathematics education on five main Ghanaian indigenous materials. The design was quasi-experimental non-equivalent groups of experimental (80) and control (70) students. The experimental group was taught with the four trends and the control with the traditional approach. The researcher used teacher-made test instruments through the standard psychometric techniques and tagged them as pretest and post-test scores. Both tests were similar and given to both groups before and after the treatments. The results show that the main indigenous Ghanaian materials were signs/symbols, artefacts, instruments, tools and technologies, and signs/symbols being the most significant. These results were then applied to the teaching and learning of mathematics at the senior high school levels. The researcher therefore recommends that students should be allowed to use indigenous mathematical ideas, concepts, generalizations and thoughts processes

Emotional competence (EC) is important for children’s social adjustment and sustainable development. The present study designed a school based emotional competence learning (ECL) program and examined its effectiveness with 56 Chinese preschoolers aged 5–6. A quasi-experimental design was employed to examine the impact of the ECL program on young children’s EC. Two upper Kindergarten classes (Daban) for children aged 5–6 were randomly assigned as experimental group (n = 31, 42% girls, Mage = 68.31 months, SD = 3.75) and control group (n = 25, 44% girls, Mage = 68.16 months, SD = 3.77). The experimental group was engaged in a 15-week ECL program, whereas the control group had similar duration courses without emotional competence training. All the children were administered the Test of Emotion Comprehension, Expression Identification Task, and Emotion Regulation Strategy Inventory before and after the intervention. The results indicated no significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the pre-test. In contrast, the experimental group outperformed the control group in most EC components in the post-test. Meanwhile, the experimental group demonstrated greater increases in EC components. The findings suggest that this ECL program has strong potential as a school-based, structured program for enhancing children’s emotional competence. The educational implications of these findings are discussed.

Recently, there have been a lot of studies examining the effect of the application of flipped classroom model. However, most of the studies focused on students’ achievement without much regard on cognitive styles. This study was aimed to investigate the effect of flipped classroom model on Indonesian EFL students’ writing achievement across cognitive styles (i.e., field dependent and field independent). It involved 58 university students from two intact classes which were divided into experimental and control groups. Both groups were given a pre-test and a post-test to know their writing achievement before and after treatment. The results of the study revealed that the mean score of the students from the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the students from the control group (p < 0.016). This study also uncovered the significantly different interaction of students from each cognitive style.
