The rapidly changing time has brought changes, including education, to every aspect of life. Education must constantly make changes to improve the quality of education as one of the formal educational institutions for the community. In this study the types of case studies are qualitative. Interviews and literary studies, field observations, and documentation were used for data collection techniques in this study. In this study, the analysis coincided with data collection on the ground. The investigator reduces data obtained in the field by analyzing the data, sorting each information by the focus of research and drawing conclusions in each direction. This study shows that improvements in the quality of education must be based on alternative management of schools. This promotes the development of the concept of quality management based on schools. This alternative management allows schools to be independent and regulated to improve the quality of education but still refers to national policies.

Improving the quality of education is a problem that is still experienced by many educational institutions. To improve the quality of education, institutions need a system to help achieve quality education quality. So this study aims to analyze the application of Total Quality Management in the school accreditation program as an effort to improve the quality of education. This research is a literature study by taking data from several books and literature. This data collection technique uses documentation techniques and data analysis techniques using critical analysis which is interesting from several research documents. The results of this study indicate that improving the quality of education is carried out by implementing Total Quality Management. Total Quality Management is carried out by continuous improvement, determining quality standards, changing culture, changing organizations, maintaining relationships with customers and focusing on customer satisfaction. and have a commitment to change.

The implementation of total quality management is applied to every educational institution as an effort to improve the quality of education. In this case, it is important to carry out management functions in each educational institution. This article discusses the implementation of total quality management in educational institutions to seek to improve the quality of education in achieving a quality standard in education. Every educational institution should show better quality and be able to compete. This is intended so that educational institutions continue to gain the trust of the public and stakeholders. To continue to get this, it must be improved continuously, both physically and non-physically. So as to make a quality educational institution and guaranteed quality. The Past

Entering the past decade, the issue of quality has always been the talk of the actual, especially in the context of education management. Recognized or not, the quality of Islamic education institutions are still largely under the quality of education in general. Various attempts have been made and many of the concepts that have been applied, but everything seemed not bring significant improvement. "Total Quality Management (TQM) or Integrated Quality Management (MMT) as an effort to improve the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions. Although at first the concept of MMT is only known in the industry, but the amazing success invite the interest of education experts, 3 to study it more deeply, formulate operational patterns of adoption, and to create a model in teknical to apply. This research was conducted in SMP Muhammadiyah I Depok Sleman Yogyakarta. Consideration is SMP Muhammadiyah I Gurgaon is one of the Islamic educational institutions (schools distinctively Islamic) 5 formal mission has always been to apply concepts of Quality Management (TQM). This study resulted in that SMP Muhammadiyah I Depok already implementing Total Quality Management in the management of education. However, the application of Total Quality Management in SMP Muhammadiyah I Depok can be said is not fully maximized, in the sense that there are still some things that need to be evaluated together.

Accreditation is an activity for evaluating the feasibility of a program in an education based on predetermined criteria. This accreditation is applied as an evaluation material and also controls the quality of education. However, even though the accreditation system has been developed and formulated in such a way, not many schools have been able to implement the existing instruments in the accreditation to improve the quality of their educational institutions. Many schools have not utilized the existing systems and instruments in accreditation optimally. Therefore, the implementation of accreditation in schools also requires an approach so that the process can run optimally. That approach is called by Total Quality Management (TQM). This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of this study found that accreditation in the TQM perspective contains the principles, among others: First, accreditation contains standards that are used as reference for implementation; Second, the school utilizes the assessment instruments that are in the accreditation to monitor the ongoing education services (monitoring and evaluation); Third, school accreditation is used to identify deficiencies in schools (deviations); Fourth, accreditation is used as a reference to continuously improve the quality of their schools.

Masa sekarang ini, pendidikan menjadi prioritas menanamkan nilai-nilai moral pada generasi di Indonesia, sehingga menjadi urgen menemukan cara bagaimana meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Oleh karenanya dalam meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan harus menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang mampu memecahkan masalah global dalam dunia pendidikan. Total Quality Management (TQM) adalah konsep manajemen sekolah dalam melaksanakan pendidikan serta diharapkan bisa memberikan perubahan yang lebih baik sesuai dengan pembangunan, tuntutan dan dinamika masyarakat. Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Mamba’ul Hisan Sidayu Gresik telah menerapkan empat konsep dalam TQM untuk meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan: pertama, mutu dalam proses penerimaan siswa di lembaga ini; kedua, kepuasan pelanggan yaitu memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik; ketiga, perbaikan terus menerus dalam rekrutmen guru yang berkualitas dan mempunyai keahlian lainnya dan setiap akhir semester melakukan evaluasi terhadap hasil kinerja guru, peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran; dan keempat, melibatkan seluruh komponen yang ada di lembaga pendidikan. Kata Kunci: total quality management, mutu pendidikan, madrasah Nowadays, education is a priority to instill moral values ??in generations in Indonesia. So it becomes urgent to find ways to improve the quality of education. Therefore, in improving the quality of education, it must create human resources capable of solving global problems in the world of education. Total Quality Management (TQM) is the concept of school management in implementing education and is expected to provide a better change in accordance with the development, demands, and dynamics of the community. Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Mamba'ul Hisan Sidayu Gresik has applied four concepts in TQM to improve the quality of education quality, first, the quality of the student admission process at this institution; second, customer satisfaction is to meet the needs of students; third, continuous improvement in the recruitment of qualified teachers and other experts and at the end of each semester evaluates the performance of teachers, improving the quality of learning; and fourth, it is involving all components in educational institutions.

Annotation: The article discusses the current state of quality management systems in universities of Kyrgyzstan, their main characteristics, and also offers some recommendations for improving the quality management of education based on the QMS. Special emphasis is placed on the premises of the formation of a quality management system in the conditions of development of the higher education system of the Kyrgyz Republic. It is noted that until now there are no regulatory documents regulating the choice of one of the models of the quality management system in higher education. Educational institutions have the right to choose a model for the formation of a quality management system. The authorselected the main problems of the current state of education quality management in higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic. Based on the analysis, were proposed specific ways and directions of work in order to improve the quality of education based on quality management. It is emphasized that in modern conditions the introduction of a quality management system guarantees the quality of education and increases the competitiveness of universities.

This study aims to examine the analysis of the quality and quality of education in islmaic educational institutions in MAN 2 Yogyakarta. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are done by interview, observation and documentasion. The results showed that; 1). To achieve the vision, mission and objectives of the Madrasah, the principal plays an active role in assisting and communicating to teachers and staff in realizing the vision and mission of the Madrasah by realizing knowledgeable, charitable and noble personality; 2). MAN 2 Yogyakarta has excellent academic and non-academic achievements; 3). Graduates or graduates of MAN 2 Yogyakarta are able to compete with other Madrasah to continue in Indonesia’s best universities, such as UGM, UNY, IPB, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, and Jendral Sudirman University; 4). To be a superior Madrasah, MAN 2 Yogyakarta is still not superior enought, that is because there are some facilities and infrastructure that have not been fulfilled properly.

Islamic boarding school is the oldest educational institution by the nation that participated in creating literate society. In the midst of this globalization era, Islamic boarding schools maintain both classical and modern education and teaching systems. In educational institutions need to pay attention to the quality management of education in order to improve and develop educational institutions for the future. The reality that we get in guaranteeing the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools is that there are many obstacles that must be resolved. With this the author intends to examine several management systems or quality management based on Islamic boarding schools. This study used qualitative research methods. This research is specifically directed towards descriptive qualitative research design. Trying to solve the problem based on the data concerned with the concept of quality management based on Islamic boarding school. The concept that has been prepared in the management of education quality in Islamic boarding schools is oriented to improving the quality of education by referring to the values ​​of Islamic boarding schools / Islamic society that have been entrenched among Indonesian people, by using tools, techniques and philosophies to create quality education in order to achieve educational goals.

While the formulation of the problem is how the actualization of quality improvement management based on madrasah, what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in actualizing the management of quality improvement based on madrasah. Based on the formulation of the problem, the purpose of this study is to describe the actualization of quality improvement management based on madrasah, and to describe what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in actualizing the management of quality improvement based on madrasah. In data collection methods through observation, interview and documentation, with informants. While to analyze the data using qualitative descriptive technical analysis, that is to describe and interpret the data that have been obtained so that will describe the actual reality in accordance with the existing phenomenonThe result of the research shows that the actualization of management of quality improvement of education can be implemented well, because madrasah is basically the existence of madrasah from, by and for society and it is time for madrasah based quality management is applied in madrasah to improve education quality Actualization of madrasah based quality improvement management as a national policy, firstly do program planning and situation analysis to know the target to be achieved and do SWOT analyst to know how far the readiness of madrasah in order to improve the quality of education After MPMBM planning is completed by giving birth to the program that must be implemented, the head of the madrasah performs the division of workload by providing a proportional portion to each individual or group. In evaluating the head of the madrasah perform regular evaluations every week and any problems From this it can be understood that the supporting factor in actualizing the management of quality improvement based on Madrasah Madrasah is the compactness and high morale spirit of the existing elements ranging from head of madrasah to employees, and completeness of existing infrastructure.
