This study drove at identifying the training program efficacy in developing the health life skills among sample selected from Kindergarten children. Study sample consisted of 60 children of both genders, ages of which are ranged from 5-6 years old. We have applied herein the pre and post dimension of health life skills scale; consisting of 28 Paragraphs among the study sample. The training program, which was prepared to measure the health life skills, has been applied to training group individuals. The collected outcomes referred to statistical significance differences in the study individuals’ performance, on health life skills scale, which are attributed to group, in the favor of experimental group. Moreover, the outcomes referred to differences of statistical significance attributed to gender in the favor of females. The collected outcomes have been discussed and further the study concluded some recommendations.

This research was carried out with the aim of examining the impact of communication training based on ‘from the child to mother approach’ on the communication of the mothers with their children attending mobile preschools. The sample comprised 80 children attending mobile preschool and mothers of those children. Two of the five neighborhoods served by the mobile preschool were designated randomly as experiment groups and the remaining as control groups. There were 33 children and mothers in the experimental group and 47 in the control group. The data was collected by General Information Form and Parent-Child Communication Evaluation Tool. During the course of the research, the Communication Training Program prepared by the researcher and based on the Child to Mother Approach was applied to the experimental group for two days in a week during eight weeks. In order to examine the impact of Communication Training Program on mother-child communication, t-test was conducted for both the independent group and the dependent group. Statistical significance was set at .05. As a result of the analyses, it has been determined that the Communication Training Program has a positive effect on communication between mothers and children and this effect is permanent. In line with the results of the research, suggestions for preschool education teachers, parents and researchers are presented.

The immediate and long-term effects of perceptual-motor training on kindergarten children (6 girls, 4 boys) were measured by the Gesell Copy Forms Test. A significant increase from the pretest to the first posttest was made by the experimental group but none by the control group ( ns = 5). The second posttest showed that these gains were relatively long-term rather than short-term.

"ABSTRACT. Introduction. The level of development of anaerobic capacity at footballers requires the achievement of sporting performance. Objective. The study analyses whether the anaerobic capacity is developed as a result of the participation of the athletes in a training program with small-sided football games. Methods. A group of 40 athletes aged 16-18 years old were grouped in two equal teams, named: experimental group (EG) and control group (CG). During the period of the study, which was between 5.01.2021 – 27.02. 2021, the two groups were exposed to different training programs: the EG in a smallsided football games training program and the CG in a classic way. The following technology was used: Hosand GT.a – to measure HR – and the WittyGateMicrogate2 system for timing of the stress sample. Subjects took the YYIRTL1 sample. SPSS program, variant 23 was used for statistical analysis of the data. Results. The results taken in the initial test (IT) between the two groups had no statistical significance in YYIRTL1 field sample was concerned, but there could be noticed significant differences in the final test (FT) for the parameter indicating the hold time in the anaerobic zone>81%HRmax (U = 67.50, N1 = 20, N2 = 20, twotailed p = .000336, d = 1.46). Conclusions. The study shows that the anaerobic capacity of subjects has developed through the implementation of an 8-week period program where small-sided football games have been used."

Objective: Many deaf adolescents tend to show more aggression, due to their less social and emotional skills. This also affects their self-evaluation and self-esteem. Life skills are related to the personal, intellectual, emotional, and physical development of an individual. The present study was done to examine the effectiveness of a life skills training program on improvement of the self-esteem and aggression control of deaf adolescents girls. Methods: This quasi-experimental study with a pre-test and post-test design using a control group Was done on 34 female deaf adolescents who were studying in first, second, and third grade of high school in Nezam Mafi High School, Tehran, Iran. Participants were selected using a purposive convenience sampling method and were randomly divided into two groups (experimental and control groups). The Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (SEI) and the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire (AQ) were used to collect data. The life skills training program was delivered to the experimental group in eight 60-min sessions. Results: The results showed that the eight sessions of life skills training program significantly increased self-esteem (P<0.001) and decreased aggression of the experimental group of deaf adolescents girls (P<0.001) while there was no change in the control group. Conclusion: According to the results, it can be concluded that life skills training should be considered as a method for improving the mental status of deaf adolescent girls. Since there may be less social experiences in deaf adolescents, a training program may help them to achieve more self-esteem skills and be more successful in social communications.

Abstract Background Thalassemia have a negative impact on the patients' psychological health and sleep quality. This study aimed to determine the effects of a positive thinking training program on hope and sleep quality of patients with thalassemia major. Methods This randomized clinical trial was conducted on 78 patients with thalassemia major including 36 males (46.2%) and 42 females (53.8%) with a mean age of 25.56 ± 29.6 in Iran. Subjects were randomly assigned into experimental and control groups. Experimental group received 16 h training based on positive thinking materials published by Martin Seligman. Control group received only usual programs. Data were collected at baseline, as well as immediately and one month after the intervention, using Snyder’s Hope Scale and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Data analysis was performed using SPSS Software 18.0; statistical tests included the independent T-test, the Chi-square, Mann Whitney, and Friedman test. Significance level was set at 0.05 in this study. Results The experimental group had a significantly higher mean hope score compared to the control group immediately (45.38 ± 7.82 vs. 35.32 ± 5.54, P < 0.001) and one month following intervention (44.67 ± 3.47 vs. 35 ± .54, P < 0.001). Moreover, the mean sleep quality scores of the experimental group was significantly greater than that for control group immediately (5.35 ± 2.02 vs. 7 ± 2.4, P = 0.004) and one month after the intervention (4.23 ± 2.2 vs.7.02 ± 3.03, P < 0.001). Conclusion Since our training program on positive thinking improved hope and quality of sleep in patients with thalassemia major, we recommend the use of such courses as an important step toward promotion of hope and sleep quality among these patients. AbstractWorking memory (WM) is a fundamental cognitive function that typically declines with age. Previous studies have shown that targeted WM training has the potential to improve WM performance in older adults. In the present study, we investigated whether a multi-domain cognitive training program that was not designed to specifically target WM could improve the behavioral performance and affect the neural activity during WM retrieval in healthy older adults. We assigned healthy older participants (70–78 years old) from a local community into a training group who completed a 3-month multi-domain cognitive training and a control group who only attended health education lectures during the same period. Behavioral and electroencephalography (EEG) data were recorded from participants while performing an untrained delayed match or non-match to category task and a control task at a pre-training baseline session and a post-training follow-up session. Behaviorally, we found that participants in the training group showed a trend toward greater WM performance gains than participants in the control group. Event-related potential (ERP) results suggest that the task-related modulation of P3 during WM retrieval was significantly enhanced at the follow-up session compared with the baseline session, and importantly, this enhancement of P3 modulation was only significant in the training group. Furthermore, no training-related effects were observed for the P2 or N2 component during WM retrieval. These results suggest that the multi-domain cognitive training program that was not designed to specifically target WM is a promising approach to improve WM performance in older adults, and that training-related gains in performance are likely mediated by an enhanced modulation of P3 which might reflect the process of WM updating.

Early childhood is a formative period during which healthy habits are developed, including proper hand hygiene practices. The aim of this quasi-experimental study was to determine the effectiveness of a 4-week series of educational sessions that consider the cognitive developmental stage of children on increasing their knowledge and promoting hand hygiene practices. The intervention group (n = 33) observed the hand hygiene program, whereas another group served as the waitlist control (n = 20). Creative activities were planned for the illustration of hand hygiene concepts in terms of “right moments”, “right steps”, and “right duration”. Hand sanitizer coverage was evaluated using a hand scanner. After the intervention, the experimental group had higher knowledge level toward hand hygiene than the control group (p < 0.001). Significant improvements in hand hygiene performance at the left palm and dorsum (p < 0.05), right palm (p < 0.05), and overall hand coverage (p < 0.05) were observed in the experimental group. The study demonstrated that the knowledge and proper hand hygiene (HH) practice of children can be positively influenced by the use of an age-appropriate education program. The results of this study have implications for school health educators and parents for promoting HH practices among children at home and at the school level.

Aim: In this work, it is aimed that examining the effects of target-oriented circular training on biomotoric features by using a tennis ball throwing machine at 12-14 age tennis performance sportsmen for ten weeks. Method: This research was implemented on sixteen active licensed athletes who played tennis for at least four years in Ankara. The athletes were randomly divided into two separate groups as the experimental group (n=8) and the control group (n=8). After measuring the height, weight, and fat rate of the athletes, biometric tests were started. Flamingo balance, sit-reach, reaction time, five meters and twenty meters sprints, T-test, and standing long jump tests were performed, respectively. Athletes were get heated for ten minutes before the tests and they were given a trying chance. The best scores were recorded by repeating each test twice. In the statistical analysis of the collected data, IBM SPSS 19 package program was used. In repeated measurements, the results were compared by two-way ANOVA with intergroup, intragroup and post-training data. Results: As a result, between the experimental group and control group data; on averages of T-Test (p<0.139), visual reaction (p<0.001), Flexibility (p<0.024), Vertical Jump (p<0.022), Flamingo Balance right foot (p<0.046) and left foot (p<0.045) statistical significance was confirmed.
