ANALYSIS OF MAN-PORTABLE SYSTEMS INTERCEPTING MINIATURE UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES
Keyword(s):
A huge improvement in technology of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), usually called drones, and their wide both civilian and military use has been observed recently. For it new countermeasures are undertaken to prevent air space violation in the vicinity of airports, critical infrastructure and mass events. Drones used to smuggle substances through the borders and to the penitentiaries are another threat. This paper presents the state of art in the systems dedicated to capture the miniature UAVs, and evaluates the methods used up to now, and points out the most perspective directions for drones’ neutralization systems.
