The article concerns the interests of socially maladjusted youth. Among others the social and demographic features of the pupils of the social rehabilitation facility were presented. Research was carried out to determine the differences between socially maladjusted youth and young people who do not conflict with the law in terms of the number of interests held, their type and commitment to implementation. It was established that among the surveyed boys from the Youth Educational Centre there is a great interest in craft professions such as: car mechanic, electrician, baker, construction worker, carpenter. In addition, the results of the research revealed the preferences of boys not socially adapted to perform in the future, among other things, the profession of teacher, social worker or educator.

In the article, I present the findings of a qualitative research study conducted in a juvenile rehabilitation facility for girls among teaching staff with different length of service. Data from group interviews with the teaching staff were analyzed. The study aimed to analyze the teaching staff's statements regarding their understanding of effects in the social rehabilitation of juveniles. The study covered seven focus groups. The conclusions from the study show that the teaching staff in the juvenile rehabilitation facility can identify the effects of the social rehabilitation process and equate them with desirable (prosocial) changes in the juveniles’ behavior - these changes are not always consolidated but identifiable enough for the teachers to be able to continue working on them, which is an effect as well according to the participants. The juveniles’ academic achievements and behavior changes relating to observing the rules of the facility and performing their duties are the effects of social rehabilitation listed most frequently by the participants. According to the participants, the effects related to changes in the juveniles’ developing personalities are more difficult to determine and need definitely more time to be achieved. The participants also point to the key role of the feedback on changes in behavior the juveniles are provided with, which promotes further, more complex changes, such as, for example, the juveniles’ higher self-esteem. According to the participants, Individualized Education and Therapy Programs are an important tool in their work and make it easier for them to identify the outcomes and set goals in ongoing interventions. The participants of the study are aware that numerous factors contribute to the effect of social rehabilitation work and it cannot be analyzed from the angle of individual indicators.

Abstract During 2020, weddings were profoundly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. During periods of lockdown few weddings could take place, and even afterwards restrictions on how they could be celebrated remained. To investigate the impact of such restrictions, we carried out a survey of those whose plans to marry in England and Wales had been affected by Covid-19. The 1,449 responses we received illustrated that the ease and speed with which couples had been able to marry, and sometimes whether they had been able to marry at all, had depended not merely on the national restrictions in place but on their chosen route into marriage. This highlights the complexity and antiquity of marriage law and reinforces the need for reform. The restrictions on weddings taking place also revealed the extent to which couples valued getting married as opposed to having a wedding. Understanding both the social and the legal dimension of weddings is important in informing recommendations as to how the law should be changed in the future, not merely to deal with similar crises but also to ensure that the general law is fit for purpose in the twenty-first century.

This study aims to explain the link between the social skills acquired within families and the resilience to the criminal act in young people living in disadvantaged neighborhoods in Abobo. The research was carried out in Abobo commune and involved 74 participants from different social categories. The collection of information relating to the object of study was based on questionnaire, interview and observation. The information collected was analyzed from a quantitative and qualitative point of view. The results of the study indicate that youth who are resilient to delinquency in the community are of all ages and both sexes. The study shows that the resilience to the criminal act in certain young people living in the precarious neighborhoods of the Abobo commune is explained by the ability to ask for help, self-control, development of a sense of autonomy and a projection into the future.

<p align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The main problem in this study was how the social significance of the existence of Desa autonomy regulation through the Law No. 6 of 2014. The existence of new regulation must be influence to desa’s order, especially in  local authority, Because of the local authority is the most important thing in local organization like Desa.The specific question tried to be answered in this study  whether the Law could serve, integrate, and organize the local authority in Desa. The result of this research indicate three points. First, local authority existing that called “hak asal usul desa” coexist with local community and desa government. Second, the field of local authority as organization the governance of desa, implementation of the building of desa, and commmunity development will blossom out in the future depend on the needs of local community.Finally, design of local authority based on the Law No. 6 of 2014 can integrate and organize the local authority, if the national government still commit and consist to recognize the local authority whatever Desa has.</em></p><p><strong><em>Kata kunci</em></strong><em>: local authority, local community, state law, recognition.</em></p><p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Masalah utama dalam studi ini adalah bagaimana implikasi  berlakunya UU No. 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa terhadap kewenangan desa. Kewenangan desa yang dimaksud adalah kewenangan desa yang berasal dari hak asal usul dan kewenangan lokal berskala desa, karena kedua bentuk kewenangan desa tersebutlah yang merupakan ruh otonomi desa. Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa desa tidak bisa diperlakukan sama sebagaimana memperlakukan daerah kabupaten, karena hakekat otonomi desa berbeda dengan otonomi daerah. Kabupaten dibentuk sebagai pelaksana desentralisasi, yang melaksanakan sebagian kewenangan yang diberikan oleh Pusat. Desa berbeda, karena memiliki kewenangan yang berasal dari hak asal usul, bukan pemberian dari pusat. Otonomi desa sudah ada jauh sebelum republik ini berdiri, dan meski didesain ulang berkali-kali melalui kebijakan pusat tentang desa , namun otonomi desa tetep eksis, salah satunya adalah dengan keberadaan kewenangan hak asal usul yang melekat pada status sosial kepala desa dan pamong desa , apapun nama dan penyebutannya, serta tercermin dari perilaku masyarakat desa yang menjunjung tinggi kehidupan sosial budayanya.Pada akhirnya desain tentang kewenangan desa diajukan sebagai bagian dari solusi, yang mencoba mewadahi dua konstruksi tentang kewenangan desa, dimana kewenangan desa eksisting masuk dalam “wadah” yang dikonstruksi UU No.6 Tahun 2015 tentang Desa, namun dengan semangat diterapkannya taat azas yaitu azas rekognisi, dimana pemerintah pusat dan daerahmengakui apapun kewenangan yang saat ini dilaksanakan oleh desa.</p><strong>Kata kunci: </strong>kewenangan desa, hukum negara,  hak asal usul desa, kewenangan lokal berskala desa, asas rekognisi.

This article explores how children and young people from agro-pastoral societies in southern Ethiopia imagine their future. Children and young people who have not been going to school, as well as students in rural and urban areas, imagine their future differently. Their visions of the future can be located on a continuum between a future life as agro-pastoralists on the one end, and life in town with a job as an employee on the other. Where a person’s vision is located on this continuum depends on the influences he or she has experienced from school and town life. My analysis shows how, through the influence of schooling, young people’s concept of time shifts from a cyclical one, concentrated on the reproduction of the social world, towards a linear one, focused on personal and “national” development.

This chapter explores the experiences of families enmeshed in child welfare systems. Stories of pain, hurt, betrayal, and violence are told to professionals everyday. However, a key theme of this book is a concern that the language and theoretical and practice tools available to them are impoverished and increasingly inadequate. This is partly due to the inadequacy of a model that translates need to risk routinely, colonises a variety of sorrows and troubles within a child protection frame, and has abandoned or lost a sense of the contexts — economic and social — in which so many are living lives of quiet desperation. The chapter draws on a number of studies conducted by the authors, in particular a detailed study of families and their experiences of welfare services; and an enquiry on the role of the social worker in adoption, ethics, and human rights, which looked at the perspectives of birth families, adoptive parents, and adopted young people.

The commitment to analyze, interrogate and articulate the meaning of youth violence in a geopolitical arena, that is reorganizing global relations through appeals to fear and diverse rhetoric of security, acquires a crucial importance. This is particularly the case as certain categories of young people are demonized a priori and as the violent acts attributed to them are presented in an extremely simplified version. The immediate effect is the fuelled anger of the so-called public opinion and the emergence of the propitious environment for the implementation of authoritarian solutions that are detrimental to democracy and human rights. The mara represents the perfect portrait of an extreme threat and unfortunately, its members actively participate in the dissemination of their own myth, in which fiction and reality intermingle to certify that post-apocalyptic prophesies do take place on those meaning-inscribed bodies that advance ominously upon both real and symbolic territories as living testaments to the fragility of the social order that we have created.

Even though the crimes committed by children and adults are the same, however different forms of treatment need to be taken. Especially for children in Papua with all kinds of limitations and shortcomings they have. For this reason, special treatment or special treatment is needed for children in conflict with the law. This study aims to hope that in the future the form of handling restorative justice will be put forward in dealing with criminal cases committed by children. The article considers the organization of psychological and pedagogical work with freshmen. Specifically, during student life, young people are further socialized in the system of relations in the new social adult environment. In this regard, young people must be actively involved in the educational process in higher education, successfully cope with the requirements for learning, and gain a set of necessary competencies that can be successfully applied in practice in the future. The main freshmen's problems are outlined a new system of education; another mode, load and requirements; new social role; relationships with classmates and teachers; problems in the social and household plan; independent living in conditions for out-of-town students. The analysis of the scientific literature allowed us to conclude that a significant potential for solving the problem of students' adaptation in a higher education institution is social advertising. Thus, by social advertising, we mean information of any kind, disseminated in any form, which is aimed at achieving socially useful goals, the promotion of universal values and the dissemination of which is not for profit. The role of social advertising as an important condition for students' successful adaptation on the example of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education of Uman State Pedagogical University has been revealed. Already implemented forms of work at the faculty are: 1) annual competition of student and pupil scientific works «Family from A to Z»; in the nominations: scientific works; social projects (implemented or designed); social advertising (print, photo or video); 2) competition «The best social poster»; 3) Competition of social advertising in the form of short video works; 4) Festival of student creativity «Social worker of the future» in the framework of the social project «Make a dream come true». Thus, it can be argued that social advertising plays an important role in the students' adaptation, their formation as future professionals. Students master the necessary skills and abilities, which include the ability to work in a team, establish contacts, manage their time properly, show leadership qualities and persuade the interlocutor.
