Human nature consists of strengths whose possession has personal and interpersonal advantages. Among these are resilience, self-efficacy in the exercise of emotional regulation strategies (SEERE), optimism and subjective well-being (SWB), which can condition the expression of compassionate love (CL) towards the partner. Based on this, the objectives of this research were: 1) to identify the effect of resilience, SEERE, optimism and SWB in the CL towards the romantic partner and 2) to examine the differences in the variables mentioned by education and time in the relationship. To do this, we worked with 202 heterosexual couples from Mexico City who responded voluntarily, confidentially and anonymously. Among the results, positive and significant relationships were found between resilience, SEERE, optimism and SWB with CL towards the partner. Likewise, it was found that the higher the school level, the more resilience, optimism and flourishing; as well as differences by time in the relationship showing that CL predominates at the beginning of the relationship; while in later stages, more family support and SEERE in cognitive reappraisal are reported.

This study aimed to explore the mediating role of emotional regulation strategies in the relationship between emotional intelligence (EI) and subjective well-being (SWB) among Chinese university teachers, and evaluate whether effort-reward imbalance moderated the mediating effect of emotional regulation strategies. A total of 308 Chinese university teachers were recruited for this study. The results showed that emotional regulation strategies played a partial mediating role in the relationship between EI and SWB. Moreover, an effort-reward imbalance moderated the relationship between emotional regulation strategies and SWB. For individuals with more balanced perceptions, EI had a significant effect on SWB via cognitive reappraisal, while for individuals with more imbalanced perceptions, EI did not have a significant effect on SWB via cognitive reappraisal. These findings provide a better understanding of the effects of EI and emotional regulation strategies on SWB, which could provide interventions for promoting SWB among teachers.

The study examined whether self-compassion mediates the relationship between social support and subjective well-being, as perceived by athletes. It also investigated the structural relationships between these variables. Participants were 333 athletes attending high school or university. Structural equation analysis showed that self-compassion partially mediated the relationship between social support and subjective well-being. To test the stability of the model, a multiple group analysis was performed according to sex of participant and school level, and this demonstrated that the model had similar fit to the data regardless of group. The confirmation that self-compassion plays an intermediary role in the relationship between social support and subjective well-being demonstrates that self-compassionate attitudes can be fostered by social support, and that, in turn, has a positive effect on an individual’s subjective well-being.

Las personas construyen y mantienen vínculos emocionales a lo largo de todo su desarrollo vital. El modo de vincularse, es decir, el estilo de apego, es consecuencia de los modelos mentales de relación construidos durante las experiencias afectivas. Los individuos con apego inseguro informan de elevada ansiedad y/o elevada evitación al establecer relaciones interpersonales. Estas personas podrían beneficiarse especialmente del aprendizaje de estrategias adecuadas para regular sus emociones, y así, aumentar su grado de bienestar. El objetivo del presente trabajo es estudiar la relación entre el apego y el bienestar subjetivo en jóvenes españoles, contemplando la regulación emocional como variable mediadora. Participaron 126 jóvenes (61.9% mujeres) entre 19 y 26 años (Medad= 24.16; DTedad= 3.54). Se utilizó el cuestionario Experiencias en Relaciones Íntimas (ECR-S), la Escala Española de Meta-Estado de Ánimo (TMMS-24), la Escala de Satisfacción con la Vida (SWLS) y la Escala de Experiencias Positivas y Negativas (SPANE). Se realizaron análisis de correlación y de mediación mediante SPSS versión 24.0 y PROCESS. Los resultados indican que la regulación emocional media la relación entre la ansiedad de vinculación y el bienestar. La evitación de la intimidad no se relaciona con la regulación emocional ni con el bienestar. Se pone de manifiesto la importancia de potenciar el bienestar en la juventud a través de la educación emocional, especialmente en aquellos jóvenes con rasgos ansiosos en su estilo de apego. People build and maintain emotional bonds along their entire life cycle. The way of bonding, that is, the style of attachment, is a consequence of the relationship mental models constructed during their affective experiences. Individuals with insecure attachment report high anxiety and/or high avoidance in establishing interpersonal relationships. These people could especially benefit from learning appropriate strategies to regulate their emotions, and thus increase their level of well-being. The aim of this paper is to study the relationship between attachment and subjective well-being in young Spanish people, considering emotional regulation as a mediating variable. 126 young people (61.9% female) between the ages of 19 and 26 participated (MeanAge = 24.16; SDAge = 3.54). The Intimate Relationship Experiences questionnaire (ECR-S), the Spanish Meta-State of Mood Scale (TMMS-24), the Life Satisfaction Scale (SWLS) and the Positive and Negative Experience Scale (SPANE) were used. Correlation and mediation analyses were performed using SPSS version 24.0 and PROCESS. The results indicate that emotional regulation mediates the relationship between attachment anxiety and well-being. Avoidance of intimacy is not related to emotional regulation or well-being. The importance of enhancing well-being in youth through emotional education is highlighted, especially in young individuals with anxious attachment traits.

A number of studies have shown the relationship between emotional regulation difficulties and subjective well-being. Reappraisal is considered a form of emotional regulation better than suppression. However, suppressing emotional expression increases the activity of physiological responses which actually harms the human health in the long run. Early age children still have difficulty in regulating their emotions, and this is likely to affect their psychological well-being if not properly managed . This study aims to examine the relationship between emotional regulation difficulties and subjective wellbeing in children aged 6-7 years. Study participants (N = 55) were children in their early childhood who were transitioned from kindergartens to Gorontalo elementary school. Data were obtained through questionnaires using an Emotional Regulation Checklist / ERC (shiedls & ciccheti, 2003) and subjective welfare questionnaire. Based on data analysis using Pearson product moment correlation test, the researcher found that the correlation coefficient (rxy) is 0.408 with p = 0.000 (p < 0.01). This indicates that there is a significant negative relationship between the variable of the value of emotional regulation difficulties with subjective wellbeing.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between psychosocial factors and subjective well-being among rural elderly persons. A broad range of psychosocial factors (such as mastery, social support, and perceived health) and measures of well-being (such as positive and negative affect and life satisfaction) were employed in bivariate correlation, canonical correlation, and multiple regression analysis. The findings show significant relationships between subjective well-being measures and psychosocial factors that are concomitant with other populations, both elderly and general.

Introduction. Modernization of education highlights the role of educational organizations' psychological characteristics in promoting the development of innovative management styles used by educational organization managers. Aim: to analyze the relationship between educational organizations' psychological characteristics and the types of educational organization managers in relation to their attitudes to change. Methods. K. Freilinger and I. Fischer "How Do You Feel About Change?", V. Siegert and L. Lange "How Is Your Organization Developing?" (modified by L.M. Karamushka), V.O. Rozanov "Assessment of Job Satisfaction", G. Perue-Badu Subjective Well-Being Scale (adapted by M.V. Sokolova), and a questionnaire-passport developed by the author. Results. The empirical research conducted by the author found positive and negative statistically significant relationships between the three groups of psychological characteristics of the educational organization (intra-organizational, organization-and-staff interaction relevant, and organizational-functional) and certain types of educational organization managers in relation to their attitudes towards change. Conclusions. The findings can facilitate the development of innovative management styles used by education organization managers.

Adolescence is a period of tension as individuals begin to recognize the environment and recognize the people in surroundings. Nevertheless in Adolescence on broken home families. Adolescence need emotional regulation to know what they felt, and what they thought and able to evaluate the emotions experienced so as to act rationally not emotionally. So, it is possible if the adolescence with broken home family with high emotional regulation will have a high subjective well being. This study aims to determine the relationship of emotional regulation with subjective well being in teenagers on broken home family. The approach in this research is using a quantitative correlational. Moreover, the number of the subjects in this study were 100 teenagers who had divorced parents in age-range 13-21 years. The purposive sampling technique is used to gain the data. The researcher collect the data using Likert model scale. Then, the researcher used product moment correlation as the data analysis method. The research has uncovered that there is a positive significant relationship between family functioning and psychological well-being in divorced family teenagers, which is shown by probability value 0.000 <0.005
