The paper treats the problem of nests of interpreters i.e. multiple levels of interpretation of programs. The goal of the paper is to expose a control structure which models the important characteristics of such nests. Using a comparison with the Burroughs B6700 philosophy, a more general system model is introduced. There are two major results - a new type of control structure, and the conclusion that generalized nests perforce require retained environments.

This paper investigates stability and stabilization of discrete systems with probabilistic nonlinearities and time-varying delay. New characters of the nonlinearities, the probability of the nonlinearities happening between different bounds, are used to build new type of system model, which can help us make a full use of the inner variation information of the nonlinearities. With the help of the new characters, new system model is proposed. Then, sufficient conditions for the mean square stability of the system can be obtained by using the Lyapunov functional approach and linear matrix inequalities technique. An example is proposed to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method.

Transition to digital technologies in management of power industry at all levels – an inevitable consequence of the technical progress which has generated opportunities for diversification, decarbonization and decentralization. Thus it is necessary to recognize that digitalization in power industry is NOT automation, and first of all creation of new business models, services and the markets with a support on possibility of digital economy. In this article questions of transformation of architecture of power industry, and also the main restrictions are considered: absence in regulatory base of new opportunities for consumers; general system inefficiency; impossibility “to legalize” appearance of new subjects (active consumers and prosumers, operators of micropower supply systems and aggregators of the distributed power objects, various service organizations), and also to deregulate the relations between them, to standardize interaction interfaces with EEC, to transform the energy markets. In article it is offered for transition to new digital power to make corresponding changes to the legislation: to enter new type of participants of the market (the active consumer, an active power complex), operated intellectual connection carrying out the standard with the electrical power system, completely responsible for management of the power supply and thus having the minimum regulatory restrictions on organizational model of the work; to improve rules of functioning of trade systems for creation of the markets of the distributed power providing an effective exchange of goods and services between traditional participants of the markets and participants of new type; to enter possibility of application of technologies of the coordinated management of the distributed sources and consumers of energy, systems of storage of energy, means of regulation of loading (“aggregators”) for the purpose of increase of efficiency of their use and participation in the electric power and power markets, including rendering system services and performance of other functions in these markets (the pilot project of such system is realized under the leadership of the author of the present article by subsidiary PAO “Lukoil” “Energy and gas of Romania”); to increase technological and economic flexibility of conditions on reliability and quality of power supply, creation of possibility of a choice by the consumer of conditions of power supply necessary for him and the account them in cost; to enter the accounting of the opportunities given by “new” decisions, at an assessment, formation and implementation of investment programs of the adjustable companies (including introduction of a technique of an assessment of investment projects at possession cost on all life cycle of the decision); to replace cross subsidizing of the population by industrial consumers with mechanisms of address social support and / or with system of restriction of volumes of consumption on reduced rates (“соцнорма”); to refuse further deployment of system of subsidizing of power supply of one regions at the expense of consumers of other regions (as it leads to growth of inefficient power consumption in the subsidized regions, not provided with available generation and infrastructure); to change norms of technical regulation, norms of design on the basis of new technologies; to make changes to programs of development of the infrastructure organizations of power industry taking into account trends of diversification, decentralization, decarbonization and a digitalization; to provide possibility of stimulation, including tariff, implementation of regional programs (pilot and regular), aimed at the complex development of power industry on the basis of new approaches, technologies and the practician, and also the hi-tech companies of small and medium business providing development.

In this paper, the design scheme, technical route and system structure of the interactive marine incinerator operation training system based on Web3D are proposed based on the study of the marine engine room simulator project. The virtual reality technique, visual C# and IE real-time interaction technology are introduced to the marine incinerator operation training system and the development thoughts of the interactive marine incinerator operation training system based on Web3D are elaborated based on the 3D modeling optimization and real-time interaction technology. This study is a new type of marine engineering training mode, it can better meet the STCW convention in Manila amendments on incinerator equipment management requirements.

We study a reliability system subject to shocks generated by a renewal point process. When a shock occurs, components fail independently of each other with equal probabilities that are random numbers drawn from a distribution that may differ from shock to shock. We first consider the case of a parallel system and derive closed expressions for the Laplace-Stieltjes transform and the expectation of the time to system failure and for its density in the case that the distribution function of the renewal process possesses a density. We then treat a more general system structure, which has some very important special cases, such as k-out-of-n:F systems, and derive analogous formulae.

With the development of modern industry, the consciousness of quality monitoring increases rapidly. The requirements to the dimensional control and profile monitoring of the products including the mechanical, optical and electric ones become higher and higher. New, non-contact and convenient instruments are needed to enable people to evaluate their products. A new type of dynamic active confocal probe is developed in this paper. The key point of this new method is that the displacement measurement of the vibrating lens located on the tuning fork is converted to time difference measurement, which is much simpler and assures higher accuracy in measurement. System structure and improvement, electric circuit and signal processing system are discussed. Experimental studies of the probe performance and analyses of the experimental results are presented.

This article presents a new micro-feed mechanism, whose main transmission component is the nut–rotary ball screw pair. The screw and nut are driven by two motors, and they rotate in the same direction, with their movements enabling micro-feeding. The main contribution of the micro-feed mechanism is to avoid the inevitable low-speed nonlinear creeping phenomenon caused by the inherent properties of traditional electromechanical servo system structure, thus realizing high precision micro-feed. In this study, the motion state of the working ball is analyzed using the principle of differential geometry, the friction at the contact points is calculated, the balance equation for force and moment is established, the influences of the screw and nut on the kinematic parameters of the ball at different velocities and the differences in the motion states of the ball in different drive modes are studied, and the mechanical efficiency of the dual-driven ball screw mechanism is calculated. The potential applications of the new micro-feed mechanism and the results of numerical analysis can be applied to advanced technology fields such as robotics, suspensions, powertrain, national defense, integrated electronics, optoelectronics, medicine, and genetic engineering, so that the new system can have a lower stable speed limit and achieve precise micro-feed control.

Force-Reflected Telepresence Teleoperation system has been widely used. Generally, force and torque sensors are installed on the robot to realize haptic perception. Control commands and force-reflected information from the robot are transmitted by communication link, such as internet. However, this structure not only brings difficulties of installation and commissioning, but also reduces the system flexibility and makes control more difficult. And it is prone to interfered in microenvironment. This paper presents a new type of energy transfer method to achieve it by power line instead of internet between the Master-slave Manipulators. This method achieves the consistency of force-reflected without using sensors to measure the conditions. In practical application, it requires to design an energy managed controller to insure the stability and obtain precision in synchronization between the master part and slave part. This paper gives the theory, the system structure and control method of force telepresence teleoperation based on power line.

A new type of self-bearing motor that uses Lorentz-type forces to generate both bearing force and motoring torque has been developed. The motor stator is of slotless construction with four three-phase windings. The motor rotor is constructed of 16 surface mounted permanent magnets (PM’s). The main advantage of the design is that it eliminates the tradeoff between motoring torque and bearing force with PM thickness as found in previous designs. This paper presents the dynamic model for the self-bearing motor and illustrates how the model is integrated into the overall system model of the motor test rig. The dynamic model is validated against experimentally measured transfer functions with good agreement between the two.
