The research subject is the algorithm of students self monitoring of their shooting training results and the scope of theoretical knowledge in firearms training which are recorded in a self monitoring diary. Students are offered to fill in the sections and columns of a self monitoring diary in accordance with the conditions and standards of exercises of the Firearms training guidelines of internal affairs agencies of the Russian Federation approved by the decree of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia of November 21, 2017 No 880. The research object is the fire discipline of persons being trained in internal affairs bodies of Russia with no prior service. Based on the results of the research of the peculiarities of professional training of internal affairs officers with no prior service, the authors formulate the main sections of a self monitoring diary and offer the variant of a diary design. A shooting results self monitoring diary was tested at firearms training and firearms grenade throwing skills improvement lessons in the course of professional training programs for privates, junior, middle and senior commanders of internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation.

In recent years, higher educational institutions of the Baltic countries have become more and more popular among Russian youth wishing to get higher education (or take a certain course of professional training) abroad. The article, covering the period before the onset of the coronavirus epidemic, highlights the education of Russian students in universities in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. It is noted that a significant part of the students from the Russian Federation come from the Russian regions bordering on the Baltic states. The appendix presents the opinions of Russian students about the learning process and the quality of education received in Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian universities.

The article discusses the norms of civil aviation legislation governing the training of commercial aircraft pilotsfor the purpose of sustainable development of the civil aviation of the Russian Federation. The analysis of ICAO standards and recommended practices in the field of professional training of flight crew members was carried out in order to: -research the practice of using the regulatory framework in the development and implementation of training programs for flight crew members of civil aviation of the Russian Federation; - identify of shortcomings in the regulatory framework in the field of professional training of flight crew members; - develop recommendations for improving the air legislation of the Russian Federation, taking into account the requirements of ICAO.

The article considers the directions of planning the individual trajectory of development of an employee of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation in fire and physical training, the specifics of existing training programs and training courses, and the possibilities of their application to employees. The training process is carried out according to the programs of advanced training of senior inspectors, inspectors of departments, departments, groups of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the regional and district levels for professional service and physical training of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation. Based on the sample programs, working training programs are compiled, according to which employees are trained.

The article considers the relevance of the introduction of the complex “Ready for Labour and Defence” (abbreviated as GTO in the Russian Federation, analyses how it encourages young people to practice sports. A comparative characteristic of the GTO standards that were in force in the USSR and of those that are in use in modern Russia is carried out. The correlation between the results of passing the standards for physical training and the GTO complex by cadets of education organizations of higher learning of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is revealed. The importance and significance of the introduction of the above-mentioned complex is proved. A comparison of the attitude of cadets of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and students of technical universities was made, which led to the conclusion that it is necessary to increase interest in passing the GTO complex not only among athletes and cadets of law enforcement institutions, but also among the youth of the country as a whole. Based on the results of a survey of one hundred and fifty people aged from 17 to 23 years, a study was conducted to reveal the affect of passing the GTO standards on young people’s desire to practice sports. The results of the survey presented in the diagram allow us to draw a conclusion that the «GTO» complex encourages young people to sport. The survey also revealed a number of current problems related to the inability to train and pass certain types of additional standards, as well as ways to solve them. The study was conducted to examine the opinion of young people about the GTO complex, as well as to determine the relevance and need to popularize this complex among the younger generation. The importance of keeping a healthy lifestyle and maintaining good physical shape through sports training is highlighted.

the relevance of the presented research presentation in the form of an article is based on the needs of modern society in the institutions of people's vigilantes, which by their direct participation in the recent past provided significant support to state law enforcement and human rights, as well as a symbol of the unity of society and the state. The article is devoted to the substantiation of the experimental program developed in the course of the dissertation research, which is aimed at improving the efficiency of the process of training people's vigilantes in educational organizations of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia on the basis of a practice-oriented approach. The program content has been developed by us based on the analysis of the present problems in the training of national guards in the educational institutions of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, on the basis of which we aim to further improve the training of representatives of public associations of law enforcement focus, on the basis of educational institutions of Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia, to conduct training of national guards on the basis of Federal law of 02.04.2014 No. 44- Federal law "about participation of citizens in protection of a public order", and The order of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia of August 18, 2014 N 696 regulating questions of preparation of national vigilantes to actions in the conditions connected with use of physical force, and first aid to citizens. In our research, we relied on a whole range of research methods, such as interviewing and observation, as well as methods of using independent assessments.

The article is devoted to the General characteristics of the competency approach introduced in the training of investigators as part of training in specialized educational institutions of the MIA of the Russian Federation. Recognizes the crucial role of the investigative unit of the MIA of Russia in the implementation of law enforcement, the investigation of crimes. The necessity of modernization of the system of professional training of investigators in the framework of specialized universities in connection with the constant complication of the tasks solved by these employees in the framework of their professional activities is substantiated. Such modernization is largely associated with the introduction of a competency-based approach that ensures the formation of the necessary set of knowledge, skills and personal qualities of students. This approach also makes it possible to objectively assess the level of training of a specialist in the framework of higher education. Attention is drawn to the existing difficulties of implementing the competence approach. The article points to the need for a uniform understanding of the terms "competence" and "competence", discusses modern approaches to the interpretation of these concepts. The analysis of the approaches to the definition of the types of competencies and investigative personnel of the interior Ministry, educated in government schools. The article also presents the authors ' opinion on the understanding of the forensic aspect of the formation of professional competencies of investigators of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
