Background A recent increase in podiatric medicine fellowships has occurred as the field continues to progress. Research regarding selection criteria from a fellowship director's perspective for potential fellows is lacking. This study aimed to examine objective and subjective selection criteria that directors consider when selecting applicants for the interview and when ranking prospective fellows after the interview. Methods We electronically surveyed American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons fellowship directors with preselected criteria for granting applicants an interview and for compiling their ranking list after the interview. A Likert scale from 1 (most important) to 5 (least important) was used to prioritize each criterion, an average rating was calculated, and the results were placed in order of importance. Results The most important selection criteria for granting an interview were quality of residency program (1.985), a written personal statement of reasons for attending that fellowship (2.063), and publications/presentations produced as a resident (2.267). The most important criteria in completing the ranking order after the interview were assessment of applicant's personality (1.111), interview performance (1.173), and expressed interest in program (1.563). Conclusions Knowledge of the selection criteria that fellowship directors seek in applicants can assist those who desire to further their training. The selection criteria that program directors seek differed between being selected for the interview, which combined both objective and subjective criteria, and when compiling their rankings after the interview, which included only subjective criteria. Results show more emphasis on subjective selection criteria when directors select applicants for an interview and when ranking applicants after the interview.

Abstract Entrepreneurs usually work for long hours resulting in exhaustion, stress, and burnout. The prevalent symptoms of burnout are reduced levels of physical and mental energy, reduced job efficiency and diminished productivity. Therefore, it is important to improve the health of entrepreneurs. Gamification has a positive relationship with improvements in health and well-being as it influences positive experiences and satisfaction. This trial aims to study how 30-minutes of virtual reality game use via Kinect Azure and Oculus platforms 3-times per week, for 4 weeks, relates to differences in entrepreneur stress, burnout, subjective life quality, and downstream firm performance. We will recruit entrepreneurs over the age of 18 for the gamification analysis. Analysis of previous power using G*Power will determine the sample size. We will divide the participants into 3 groups, wherein Group A will undergo gamification on the Kinect platform, Group B will undergo the Oculus Quest intervention, and Group C will be the control group. We will conduct the study at two sites, one at the HuMen research. The outcome measures include a five-point Likert scale for measuring entrepreneurial stress, burnout-measuring scale (BMS) for burnout, five-point Likert scale for performance and SF-12 for Quality of life. Since current strains pave ways to future accomplishment, entrepreneurs' eudemonic well-being might particularly relate to forward-looking challenge stressors and burnouts. The results will provide an insight into how gamification could help entrepreneurs to deal with work stress and maintain high well-being.

Objectives: This study investigates the effect of electro-acupuncture on aphasia after stroke. Methods: A search of OASIS, NDSL, PubMed, Cochrane, and CNKI was executed between 4 January 2021 and 4 February 2021, with no limitation on publication year. Extraction and selection from the studies were made by 3 authors. The quality of the studies was evaluated using Cochrane’s risk of bias (RoB) tool. Results: 10 studies met the selection criteria. As the treatment site for electro-acupuncture, GV20 (Baihui) was used the most. In all studies, the region located on the head was used for treatment without distinguishing between acupoints and areas of scalp acupuncture, and the stimulation was organized into 3 conditions: speed, intensity, and time. The outcome indicators used before and after treatment focused on the evaluation of language function and the degree of aphasia. The results showed that using electro-acupuncture with speech rehabilitation therapy for aphasia after stroke was more effective than using speech rehabilitation therapy alone. Conclusions: In this review, electro-acupuncture for aphasia after stroke was found to have a significant effect compared to the previous treatment alone. However, because of limitations, information was not reliable enough. Additional research is needed to produce more objective evidence.

In the development of a system, quality assurance is needed. A system can be said to be of good quality if it meets the needs of the user. Quality can be measured from various points of view. One point of view to measure software quality is to focus on service management systems. To determine the quality of a system, it is necessary to analyze the quality of the system. The school library system at MTs Muhammadiyah 8 Ujungpangkah has implemented a lot of service management systems to support the process of activities in the library. However, it is not yet known whether the system is in accordance with the assessment standards or not.The author uses the ISO 20000 standard to assess the requirements for obtaining a certificate in the library application by conducting various analyses. This study aims to analyze the application of the library system with ISO 20000. The analytical research methods used include determining clauses, checklists, Likert scale, maturity levels, and fishbone diagrams. The references that I take are based on the results of the analysis of the writing team that I have made including graphs, diagrams, clause scores, checklist scores, Likert scales, maturity levels, and fishbone diagrams. Based on the results of the author's analysis, the school library application system at MTs Muhammadiyah 8 Ujungpangkah does not meet the ISO 20000 standard so that there is still much that needs to be improved in the library system. The Likert scale score is only 11%, while to meet the ISO 20000 standard the Likert scale score must reach at least 60%. The overall problem with this analytical assessment that results in the Library System application not passing the ISO 20000 quality standard is the lack of a Likert scale score and fishbone diagram. With fishbone diagram, the main root cause is found with organitation structure that is not clear to monitor the application working. The hypothesis in this study can be the basis for future research so that the application can meet the feasibility test of the ISO 20000 quality standard.

The bloom of banking and fintech companies in Indonesia is marked by the rapid growth of e-wallet users in recent years. The bloom is encouraged by the government by establishing the Gerakan Nasional Non Tunai program to promote cashless society among millennials who are already familiar with cashless lifestyle. There are many factors which attract people to use e-wallet, such as trust, usefulness, and promotion. This research aims to examine the effect of trust and perceived usefulness moderated by the promotion variable on consumers’ preference towards two e-wallet brands—OVO and GoPay. This quantitative research is conducted using Likert scale. The Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) method is used to examine whether each variable has different effect in shaping consumers’ preference. The samples used in this research are active users of OVO and GoPay who are currently living in Semarang. The ANOVA results show that trust, usefulness, and promotion does not have different effect in shaping consumers’ preference. However, they do attract consumers to use e-wallet. This research might be useful to help develop better quality of e-wallet service, security, and utility and build a perfect marketing strategy for banking and fintech companies.
