The aim of the present study is to identify the effect of Quranic teaching methods on the teaching skills of students of Arabic language departments in Islamic sciences faculties. The two researchers used the partial control experimental design for the control and experimental groups. In light of this design, the department of Arabic language at the University of Babylon was intentionally chosen as the research sample from the research community, which is represented by the faculties of Islamic sciences. The number of the research sample members reached (72) male and female students distributed between two populations (A, B), with (36) male and female students for each of the experimental group and the same for the control group. The two researchers prepared two tools for this research. They were represented by the achievement test in teaching skills consisting of (30) objective paragraphs of the type of multiple choice with three alternatives, and a note card. The experiment was applied in the first semester of the academic year (2019-2020). After applying the research tool and analyzing the results obtained by the two researchers Using the (SPSS) program, the results showed the superiority of the students of the experimental group who study according to the Quranic teaching methods over the students of the control group who study according to the usual method.

The current research aims to know the effect of the double-entry magazines strategy on the acquisition of literature and texts for fifth literary grade female students. To achieve this, the researcher chose Baghdad Governorate / Al-Rusafa First Education Directorate / Balqis Preparatory School for Girls to be a field for applying the research experience. The researcher relied on the experimental design with partial control for two equal groups (experimental and control) with the post test for achievement. The experimental group and (28) controls in the control group. After the researcher identified the scientific material that she will study in the experiment, she formulated the behavioral objectives, and their number reached (60) behavioral objectives. The researcher was statistically rewarded between the two groups of the experiment (the study sample) using the T-test for two independent samples and the chi-square (K2), in the variables of chronological age calculated in months, the academic achievement of the parents, the intelligence test for (Raven), and the previous year's grades for the Arabic language. (fourth literary grade), before conducting the experiment, and there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in these variables. In order to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher prepared a test to measure the achievement of literature and texts, consisting of (30) test items, the validity of which was extracted by presenting it to a group of experts and arbitrators, and to analyze the results, the researcher used the T-test to treat the results of the experiment statistically. At the end of the experiment, the researcher concluded that the students of the experimental group outperformed the students of the control group in achievement, and the differences were statistically significant between the students of the two groups (experimental and control), and in favor of the experimental group at the level of significance (0.05).

The present study is an investigation to study the influence of genre-based instruction on Iranian EFL learners’ descriptive writing. After applying an OPT, 60 out of 80 Iranian EFL M.A. male and female students from two Azad universities in Tehran, Iran, were selected as the main participants of the current study. The qualified participants were randomly divided into one experimental group and one control group each with 30 learners. The experimental group had the genres based instruction on descriptive writing. The treatment was given in 16 sequential sessions about 30 minutes at the beginning of each session. The control group received no special treatment and it was taught based on traditional methodology of writing instruction. At the initial stage of the experiment, to estimate participants’ knowledge at the beginning of the study, a pretest on writing performance was run to all participants. In this test, the two groups must write two compositions about the same topics. At the end of the study, a posttest was applied to check the participants’ descriptive writing after having instruction. The participants’ scores on the pretest and posttest were compared to estimate the degree of participants’ progress within the group, and also the scores of the two groups were compared with each other to measure the function of instruction. The analysis of the results presented that learners in both groups had the same ability but learners in experimental group outperformed than learners in control group and it was concluded that genres based instruction as treatment worked well. The findings of this study are useful for learners to improve their writing skills. Another significance of this study is to build learners’ confidence to echo their voice in the international educational contexts and to publish their articles in famous worldwide journals.
