In conversation with David Adamo's Africa in the Bible approach, which investigates the presence of Africa and Africans in Scriptures, this article conducts a synoptic search of the named and unnamed "African" women of the Torah and Nebiim with the aim of probing their socio-economic status. We ask, to what extent does a socioeconomic reading of the portraits of these women - from Hagar to the Queen of Sheba - afford us a glance into the lives of women in antiquity in the geographical location called Africa today, many of whom seemed to enjoy a great degree of social and economic independence? The social identity and status of these women may help to counteract some of the modern images of African women as victims of patriarchy under male power. The implications of the findings for African biblical hermeneutics of which Adamo is one of the foremost proponents cannot be over-emphasised.

AbstractBibliometric analysis is a statistical method that attempts to assess articles by their citations, analyzing their frequency and citation pattern, which subsequently gleans direction and guidance for future research. Over the past few years, articles focused on intrauterine adhesions have been published with increasing frequency. Nevertheless, little is known about the properties and qualities of this research, and no current analysis exists that has examined the progress in intrauterine adhesion research. Web of Science Core Collection, BIOSIS Citation Index, and MEDLINE database were searched to identify articles on intrauterine adhesion published from 1950 to October 2020. The 100 most cited articles were chosen to analyze citation count, citation density, authorship, theme, geographic distribution, time-related flux, level of evidence, and network analysis. An overwhelming majority of these 100 articles were published in the 2010s (35%). Citations per article ranged from 30 to 253. Chinese authors published the most papers in the top 100, followed by the USA, France, Israel, and Italy. The most salient study themes included operative hysteroscopy and adjunctive treatments for improving reproductive outcomes. The most common level of evidence was level II, and there was no statistical difference in the number of citations between the levels. The network analysis indicated that hysteroscopy, hysteroscopic adhesiolysis, infertility, and the reproductive outcome had a great degree of centrality in the 2000s and 2010s. In comparison, placental implantation had a great degree of centrality in the 2000s, and stem cell and fibrosis had a great degree of centrality in the 2010s. The value of IUA investigation has been gradually appreciated recently. Hysteroscopic adhesiolysis was continuously explored to achieve better reproductive outcome. Over time, the main focus of research has gradually shifted from complications to postoperative adjuvant treatment. Moreover, breakthrough progress is needed in underlying mechanism and early prevention of IUA.

Citation in academic writing used to demonstrate the authors’ knowledge to previous works in the same field of the study. Reporting verbs is one of the most fundamental components of citation in academic writing. This study investigated the frequency of the most used reporting verbs and their function in the Introduction sections of Master thesis written by Iraqi students. Francis (1996) verb groups and explanation were adapted to show the most used reporting verbs. The results show that the highest reporting verbs were found in using “Argue” group of reporting verbs, which suggest uncertainty or disagreement with the author’s line of argument. However, it appears that master students limited to much extent using Think group of verbs in writing the introduction section of their theses, this may be attributed to the master student’s tendency to use specific reporting verbs that did not allow to make a great degree of overlapping.

The SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic has emerged as one of the greatest problems of the 21st century worldwide. Efforts to fight this pandemic require a global co-operation and a multidisciplinary approach. An application of information and communication technologies (ICT) to a great degree contributes to fighting the pandemic as these technologies are one of the key services that assist patients, researchers, health institutions and other interested parties in different activities in an effort to fight the pandemic and its consequences. The present paper presents the features of certain mobile applications (apps) that are being used for different purposes such as: tracking patients, COVID-19-related warnings, keeping tracks of statistical data, organising life and business, etc. Aside from presenting the features of a certain number of applications, a review of technologies used for the development of these applications will also be presented. Furthermore, the paper addresses certain challenges that come along with the mobile technologies applications and offers suggestions for future research.

In this postulations we think about Surface Solid Dispersion and Oro dispersible tablet for upgrade of disintegration rate of valsartan. The medications having low solvency, the disintegration of these medications is rate constraining advance in their bioavailability in oral measurements frames. To defeat this number of innovations are accessible. Among them surface solid dispersion and oro dispersible tablets are two promising systems. Surface solid dispersion is a method for scattering at least one xing on a water solvent transporter of to a great degree high surface territory to accomplish expanded bioavailability and disintegration rates of insoluble medications, and oro dispersible tablets are one of the novel oral medication conveyance framework that break down or scatter rapidly in almost no time after situation in month without water.

The rhetoric of decline, which had largely disappeared from political life by the late Antonine period, came back in the middle third century as political instability prompted new emperors to discredit the final emperor of the dynasty that preceded them. The lack of long-lived dynasties between 235 and 285 meant that many new emperors and imperial pretenders emphasized how the failings of their predecessors had brought Rome to a crisis point. Each deployed the rhetoric of restoration; the separatist regime of Postumus did so to a great degree. The restorations these new emperors promised often claimed significant numbers of victims, ranging from the Christians persecuted by Decius and Valerian to the soldiers and civilians killed in Aurelian’s wars to reunify the empire in the 270s. Christians like Cyprian also used rhetoric of decline to speak about persecutions, though Cyprian focused on moral deterioration within the Christian community.

Accuracy and safety of tank guns are dependent a great degree on the condition of its gun bore. Many parameters affect accuracy and safety and have strong and complex interdependencies. While it is extremely difficult to monitor all these parameters during battle conditions, it is also essential to enhance the accuracy of the gun by measuring and compensating these parameters. Among all, bore wear and bore centreline are predominant factors. The surface characteristics of the bore also are indicative of potential accidents/deterioration, which should be monitored continuously. Hence, condition monitoring of tank gun bore characteristics in near real-time is an impending need with huge potential for enhancing the combat effectiveness of tank formations. This paper analyses various bore parameters affecting accuracy and safety and proposes a comprehensive condition monitoring method that uses vision camera, thermal camera and mechanical profiler. This integrated approach provides enhanced accuracy in measuring surface characteristics of tank bore that has been partially validated.

A tubo-ovarian abscess (TOA) is a complex mass of infectious etiology in the adnexa forming as a sequela of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). If the abscess ruptures, there is a risk of life-threatening infection. Thus, it requires great degree of suspicion for the correct diagnosis followed by prompt evaluation and treatment. This case is reported with the aim to describe the unusual presentation of TOA without a significant history of PID and the unconventional way of TOA drainage.

Central Vigilance Commission is the apex integrity institution of the nation. It was formed by the government on the recommendations of the Santhanam Committee by way of a Resolution on 11 February 1964. Over the period, unparalleled services have been rendered by the Commission to the nation in the field of anti-corruption. However, a far more important role played by the Commission is that it has grown from strength to strength, while many other institutions of national importance kept falling apart during this time. Its functioning has instilled a great degree of trust amongst the common public, and needless to say that this trust is the life blood of a democracy. The Commission is however, faced with an uphill task of fighting corruption raising its head in view of a fast-developing economy in a society which is becoming complex day by day. The Commission is an institution which will be looked up to in the decade to come. Its functioning will be closely scrutinised and criticised. Though much has been written and recorded on the Commission, a perspective about the Commission from the angle of historical Indian world view and statecraft is not available. This is a curious gap in the body of knowledge as the Commission’s formation draws a lot from ancient Indian world view and statecraft. The article attempts to bridge this profound gap in the literature relating to the Central Vigilance Commission.

Abstract Background: Bibliometric analysis is a statistical method which attempts to assess articles by their citations, analyzing their frequency and pattern of citing phenomenon. Through the analysis, some guidance can be extracted for future research directions. Over the past few years, there have been articles published in mounting numbers focused on intrauterine adhesions. Nevertheless, little is known about the properties and qualities of these researches. No existed analysis commits to reflecting the progress of researches in intrauterine adhesion. Methods: Web of Science Core Collection, BIOSIS Citation Index and MEDLINE were searched for the identifying articles released from 1950 to October 2020. Articles concerning about Intrauterine adhesion were determined. Subsequently, the 100 most cited articles were chosen for analysis of citation count, citation density (citations/article age), authorship, theme, geographic distribution, time-related flux, level of evidence, and network analysis. Results: An overwhelming majority of the certain 100 articles were put out in the 2010s (35%). Citations per article ranged from 30 to 253. China possesses the most papers among the top 100 papers, followed by the USA, France, Israel and Italy. The study theme that most highlighted were operative hysteroscopy and adjunctive treatments for improving reproductive outcome. Level II is the most common level of evidence, and there is no statistical difference in the number of citations between the levels. The network analysis connoted that hysteroscopy, hysteroscopic adhesiolysis, infertility, and reproductive outcome had a great degree of centrality in the 2000s and 2010s, while placental implantation had a great degree of centrality in the 2000s and stem cell and fibrosis had a great degree of centrality in the 2010s. Conclusions: We conducted a bibliometric analysis of the top 100 most cited articles in the literature on intrauterine adhesions. It is worth noting that hysteroscopy and hysteroscopic adhesiolysis were long-term concern in the field of intrauterine adhesion researches. As the elapse of time, postoperative adjuvant treatment has gradually become the hot spot of researches. However, there are only 9 experimental articles among these 100 articles, showing the lack of breakthrough progress in the field of intrauterine adhesions at the mechanism level.
