Abstract Stacking robot is one of the core equipment of automated warehouse, and it is also the main cargo access equipment. Stacking robot consists of three main parts: control system, measurement and servo system and mechanical system. With the development of computer control technology and logistics storage technology, stacker is widely used and its technical performance is getting better and better. At the same time, in order to meet the requirements of large-scale three-dimensional warehouse, its overall height keeps climbing. Automatic storage has become one of the symbols of enterprise modernization, and stable, reliable and practical stacking robot is the key. The stacking robot is the carrier to realize the flow of materials. It runs back and forth in the high-rise shelf roadway to store or take out the goods, so as to realize the flow of materials. The advantages of automated warehouse must be fully reflected by the stacker. As the most important handling equipment in the three-dimensional warehouse, the stacker requires fast, stable, safe, reliable and accurate operation. In this paper, the structure and system of the stacking robot for oilfield pipe products are analyzed.

The growing dynamism of the intellectualization and logistics of business processes is generating demands for updating the toolkit to assess the enterprise modernization performance and realize its innovative potential. It is argued that the evaluation of modernization efficiency and the design of enterprise innovative development strategies should rely on innovation and R&D trends and achievements. An in-depth study of the external and internal environment in which an enterprise operates helps to reveal the patterns and specifics in its innovation potential assessment paradigm. Thus, the framework to assess the enterprise innovation potential efficiency is based on its production, financial and investment performance evaluation. The consistency in modernization performance suggests following the principles of universality and comparability. Since the use of classical innovation efficiency indicators does not allow for considering the qualitative characteristics of modernization changes, a new framework to assess the modernization performance has been developed which is based on economic and mathematical analysis methods and is aimed at building an integrated index. The integrated index of modernization efficiency will help to determine the modernization potential level, the effects from a range of impact factors on the change of the modernization profile, as well as to reveal the trends of innovative development. This contributes to describing the proposed evaluation framework subject to initial enterprise modernization objectives and its strategic priorities for innovative development. Further research should focus on identifying specific methodological approaches to assessing the performance of modernization changes in line with the overall business strategy to enhance the enterprise innovative potential.

Problem of improving the strategic management quality at enterprise level (in particular its financial strategy formation and implementation) drastically increases under the recession conditions. It is highly important to take into account endogenous and exogenous factors influencing financial strategy formation, namely the issues raised due to need for modernization endemic to Ukraine’s real sector enterprises. The aim of the study is to determine financial strategy’s role in the context of the real sector’s modernization. The paper considers the problem of financial strategy development and implementation in the context of enterprise modernization in Ukraine. The author analyzes the problem of maintaining an enterprise’s strategic direction towards modernization though effective use of the financial strategy. The author studies the problem of financial management decisions’ nature in the context of enterprises’ innovative renewal. Based on the analysis of Ukrainian brewing industry enterprises, the paper provides practical recommendations considering financial strategy formation in the context of capital investment program implementation. Based on the evidence collected, the author arrived at a conclusion that different enterprises take different financial strategic decisions based on peculiarities of their external and internal environment. The author argued for the existence of a pattern concerning Ukraine’s real sector modernization issues, i. e. lack of a long-term focus, acute agency costs, weak interconnectedness of financing and operational policy. The author arrived at a conclusion that solutions to those issues are on both macro- and micro-level: firstly, state’s efforts to improve institutional environment, secondly, enterprises’ steps towards improving financing policy’s efficiency, thirdly, alignment of an enterprise’s financing policy and peculiarities of its exogenous and endogenous environment, which is highly important in the context of limited resources and uncertainty.
