The phenomenon of slums of the most negative phenomena which most cities suffer in developing countries and many of the major cities in the world to what caused this phenomenon of the burden of economic problems, social, demographic, environmental and security and others, as well as a distortion of the visual landscape of the cities due to lack of aesthetic values in design and engineering buildings, roads and services and its neighborhood, and different reasons and implications of the emergence of these gatherings and forms and results of its processors and from one country to another according to the reality and the level of each of them . This study addressed the statement and analysis of the phenomenon of slums in the province of Dhe Qar levels and find out the reasons and motives that led to the spread of this phenomenon and aggravated taken from data and statistics issued by the official authorities room for them in the light of the human geography curriculum that deals with the analysis and distribution of population phenomena and find out the reasons and the factors behind them. It was found through the study, said the size of the slum dwellers is closely linked with population size to eliminate Valemratb first numbers slums in the province are the same as the first rank in terms of population size and this applies specifically to spend Nasiriyah Center, which accounted ranked first, accounting for more than half of the slums occupied (56.3 %) were from the share, either the districts of al-Rifai and market the Senate has came second ranks third by (13, 11.5%), respectively, while it did not apply to the districts of Chabaish Shatrah where he finished Chabaish spend ranked fourth in the preparation of squatter registered ratio (10.2%) and numbers approximate what the case in the district of Suq despite a decline in its size and population Mqarndta with the rest of the districts, on the contrary spend Shatra, which held the last place in spite of its size and population high registered ratio (9%).

The visual landscape quality mapping of tourist attraction in Eka Karya Bedugul Botanical Garden. Eka Karya Bedugul Botanical Garden is a national and international reference to the ex-situ conservation of tropical mountain plant and botanical aspect service, environmental education, horticulture, landscape and tourisms. In order to provide tourism services, actual activities such as conserving and improving the quality of view are needed. The beauty of landscape view is not only determined by enviromental characteristic and landscape wealth, but it also is determined through the assessment of people from their perception over a landscape. The research aimed to map the visual quality landscape in Eka Karya Bedugul Botanical Garden and determine the best criteria of visual quality on natural landscape. The research methods used were surverys and visual assesments which include data collecting step, beauty assesment with scenic beauty estimation (SBE), and descriptive analysis about the determinant factor of visual quality on natural landscape. The beauty of the visual quality over the natural landscape was shown through the harmonic combination of landscape form elements. The visual quality over the natural landscape used were the unity of resources, well maintained natural landscape, and giving a lively effect resulted through the use of combining landscape form elements and design. There were seven landscape points that fall under the best visual quality landscape category, which were landscape number 18,32,33,34,37,38, and 40. The visual landscape quality points in Eka Karya Bedugul Botanical Garden need a regular and persistence maintainence to extend the longevity and aesthetic quality of the natural landscape.

Since the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment Project proposed the valuation of ecosystem services—defined as regulatory, provisional, ecosystem and cultural—the question arises as to the utility of such assessments for scenic landscape management. This author as well as others has looked at the issue of integrating ecological concerns with landscape planning. This article will be a comprehensive literature review and analysis of issues involved with utilizing ecosystem services of assessment of scenic/visual landscape quality as well as management implications. Special emphasis will be placed on the role of cultural ecosystem services.

Visual pollution (VP) is a visual landscape quality issue, and its most consistently recognized symptom is an excess of out of home advertising billboards (OOHb). However, the VP related research concerns landscape aesthetic and advertisement cultural context, leaving the impact of outdoor billboard infrastructure on landscape openness unanswered to date. This research aims to assess the visual impact of outdoor billboard infrastructure on landscape openness, precisely the visual volume—a key geometrical quality of a landscape. The method uses 3D isovists and voxels to calculate the visible and obstructed subsets of visible volume. Using two case studies (Lublin City, Poland) and 26 measurement points, it was found that OOHb decreased landscape openness by at least 4% of visible volume; however, the severe impact may concern up to 35% of visual volume. GIS scientists develop the proposed method for policy-makers, and urban planners end users. It is also the very first example of compiling 3D isovists and voxels in ArcGIS Pro software in an easy-to-replicate framework. The research results, accompanied by statistically significant proofs, explain the visual landscape’s fragility and contribute to understanding the VP phenomenon.

The concept of uniqueness can be an important critical tool. But as related to architecture, buildings, or the entire architectural and visual landscape of the city it appears frequently in many different contexts. One can state that describing objects in public space and even entire urban complexes in terms of uniqueness plays a marketing role – it increases the tourist attractiveness of the area – as well as socio-cultural role, because it helps to strengthen the city and build its community’s sense of identity. Indicating these goals or the intention to create uniqueness in the region of Łódź draws attention to another, more fundamental theoretical-linguistic issue, namely, what it means that something is unique. Taking into account etymology, theoretical approach, as well as possible values attributed to ‛uniqueness,’ I will consider main terminological problems with the notion. Bearing in mind these basic theoretical-linguistic issues, I will consider whether there are unique objects in the city of Łódź and the region. Trying to answer this question I will review phenomena and objects that could be considered as unique. Identifying possible uniqueness of the places and objects located in public spaces of the region of Łódź, I will consider what can create a unique panorama of urban space in Łódź and its region, and on what scale this uniqueness can be considered in order to avoid the feeling that in some sense everything is unique, or nothing is, because it imitates or resembles existing solutions, ideas in other cities of Poland or Europe.

The current research deals with the study of extrapolating the visual scene in the design of internal spaces on the grounds that design is a language whose context must be understood in order to access the meanings and connotations through its design symbols in order to extrapolate that visual scene. Extrapolation of the visual landscape in the design of interior spaces)? Therefore, the aim was to reveal the role of extrapolating the visual scene in the design of spaces, and the first chapter included the importance of research, the need for it and its terminology, while the second chapter included a detail of the theoretical framework on which we relied and which consisted of two studies, and through these investigations indicators were reached for the theoretical framework that pour In the topic of the research, which helped in arriving at the method of research methodology adopted in the third chapter, which included the research procedures, while the fourth chapter included a review of the results, the most prominent of which was that there is a relatively verified expression of the identity of space as requirements in extrapolating the visual scene of the first model. The function of the design visual scene was related to a reciprocal interaction between the function of space and the identity of the place, to accommodate extrapolation according to the nature of its priorities that acquire the appropriate space form.

The article contains the results of the visual and aesthetic assessment of the square at the opera house. In the world of single-tone structures, similar facades, repeated details, it becomes an important criterion for maintaining the physical and psychoemotional state of a person. Urbanized space negatively affects health, undermines the nervous system, disharmonizes brain activity. A perspective direction is the visual and aesthetic assessment of the environment. This assessment is necessary to determine comfortable places of rest for residents. The method of Fedosova S.I. took the basis in the work. Local landscapes were chosen taking into account the maximum concentration of people, or in transit places. There are several ways to approach the study of visual and aesthetic assessment, but they do not offer a single methodology. Each is aimed at identifying certain characteristics, does not give a generalized analysis of different types of landscapes. The aesthetic landscape should include territories with unique properties that distinguish it from others. Aesthetic assessment is perceived by people with a degree of subjectivity, this pattern consists of various factors: ethnic canons, preferences of age groups, and the level of educational censorship. The essence of the study is the assessment of the aggressiveness of the visual fi eld. A grid was superimposed on a photograph with a local landscape. On the obtained plane, the aggressiveness coeffi cient was determined, the proportion of cells with two or more repeating elements was calculated. The study was conducted in the early spring, with cloudy weather and precipitation in the form of wet snow. The degree of aggressiveness at the study site varies from 0.12 to 0.44. The results obtained demonstrate that the square at the opera house is comfortable for the rest of citizens.
