In northern Vietnam, the Tien Hai area is considered a high potential area of coal deposits. Twohundred fifty-six geochemical coal samples of 13 cores in the Tien Hai area investigate coal seams andcoal deposits to identify the correlation of coal seams. According to the statistical method and clusteranalysis of geochemical samples, the results indicate that the Mg, V, As, Ca, Zn, Cr, Co, K, Na, Sr, Fe,Ge, Re, U, Mo, Th, and Ga elements are good indicator elements of the major and trace elements in coal.Most of them comply with the normal or lognormal distribution rules. Besides, the Yb, Sc, Ho, Er, Tm,Lu, Y, Tb, Pr, Dy, and Sm elements are also good indicator elements for rare earth elements in the region.Therefore, the selected elements are used to identify the correlation of the coal seams in the Tien Hai area.Based on the similarity degree between studied objects, the results of grouping boreholes in coal seamsshow that the correlation of coal seam TV2-11 is suitable and acceptable, the coal seams TV3-6a, TV3-6b, and TV3-6c can be grouped into the coal seam TV3-6. These results present that the models can helpstudy geochemical coal samples and identify the correlation of the coal seams in the Tien Hai area.Additionally, the statistical analysis shows a remarkable degree to determine the correlation of the coalseams. Geochemical coal data can help to evaluate the indicator elements of the major, trace elements,and rare earth elements in coal seams and coal rashing of adjoining and pillar rocks in the Tien Hai area,northern Vietnam.

Models and assessment methods of anthropogenic risk are analyzed at this article, general basis of mathematical approach for risk analysis is disclosed. Based on multivariate statistic methods, algorithm of analysis for Siberian territories safety is formulated, it allows to define acceptable level of risk for each territorial group (cities with population density more than 70 000, towns with population less than 70 000, and municipals areas).

Nutrients play an essential role in many metabolic processes whose deficiency or excess can be harmful to the plant itself and through the food chain to both animals and humans. Medicinal plants used in the food and pharmaceutical industries can be contaminated with increased concentrations of heavy metals. The plant species Seseli rigidum and Seseli pallasii from the Balkan Peninsula are used in traditional medicine and spices in the diet, so it was necessary to determine the mineral composition to ensure their safe application. In this work, the mineral composition was determined in medicinal species of the genus Seseli using inductively coupled plasma with optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Two multivariate statistic methods –principal component analysis (PCA) and hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) were applied to distinguish samples regarding their mineral composition. The mineral composition of both studied species is following the literature data. The results obtained using multivariate statistics methods agree and distinguish certain parts of the tested plants based on the highest content of micro, macro, or trace elements.

The present study treated the taxonomic diversity of the cereal leaf beetle (Oulema spp.) community subservient to several cereal fields (barley, durum wheat and oats) in Eastern Algeria. From April to June, which is the appearance period of these insects, the leaf beetle fauna was weekly sampled using two trapping techniques: entomological net and sight hunting method. Spatiotemporal alpha and beta diversity of this community were evaluated by several ecological indices: Shannon index, Simpson index and equitability. The multivariate statistic test (GLM) was used to assess the variation of the different diversity parameters. Catches totaled 1144 individuals belonging to the genus Oulema and four species: Oulema melanopus, Oulema cyanella, Oulema duftscmidi and Oulema gallaeciana. The highest abundance of the leaf beetles was recorded in oats with 569 individuals (49.73%), followed by barley (390 individuals, 34.09%) and durum wheat (185 individuals, 16.17%), whereas the most speciose field was barley (4 species), followed by oats (3 species) and durum wheat (2 species). The most abundant species was O. melanopus with 746 individuals (65.20% of the total). The spectrum of occurrence ranked constant species first, followed by common and very accidental species. GLMs demonstrated that diversity of cereal leaf beetles Oulema spp is highly related to cereal field type.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of patient perception about professionalism, efficiency, patient safety and access of service to patient satisfaction at Inpatient Bhayangkara TK II Hospital Medan. The type of research used in this study is an analytical survey (explanatory research) with Cross-Sectional Study study design. The number of samples in this study were 54 patients who got service at the inpatient installation. Sampling technique by Accidental Sampling. The result of this research shows that the result of bivariate analysis to select multivariate analysis modeling candidate is statistically tested by using chi square test found that from the four variables all entered as multivariate modeling candidate. Then from the result of multivariate statistic test, it was found that p value (Sig) of professional variable (p = 0,024), efficiency (p = 0,025), access (p = 0,022) and patient safety (p = 0,048) which is significant to patient satisfaction at Inpatient Installation of Bhayangkara TK II Hospital Medan. The conclusion of the research shows that there is influence of service quality of inpatient installation which consist of profession, efficiency, access to service and patient safety to patient satisfaction. It is hoped that this research can make an actual input for health workers and the hospital. It is recommended that health workers carry out their duties according to the work SOP. Improve internal communication so that cooperation between health partners can run well in improving service quality and patient satisfaction.

It isn’t easy to define whether a stock return is determined by a certain factor or exchange day. There were many researches that proved that some influenced stock returns. There were also many researches gave facts that stock returns were caused by specific exchange days, such as week day effect. This research tries to track this logic. We tested the impact of gossips—thatspread out through social media—tostock return and persistence of theimpact. To anticipate the impact of exchange days, this research also included them as control variables. Multivariate statistic technique and combined with event study were used as analysis technique. The result suggests that the gossips in social media don’t show significance to influence the stock return, and no persistence to exist. The conclusion is that gossips in social media can’t be used to determine stock returns.

Perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) diberi tugas untuk memberikan pelayanan umum kepada masyarakat atau public service obligation (PSO) yang berorientasi sosial dan memperoleh laba, yang kinerjanya perlu ditingkatkan. Informasi Risiko yang akurat, lengkap, dan pada waktu yang tepat, akan memberikan sinyal awal untuk mengkritisi minimal 2 (dua) aspek yang mempengaruhi masa depan BUMN terkait dengan kebolehjadian terjadinya risiko dan dampak yang diakibatkannya, sedangkan Informasi Modal manusia sebagai aset Perusahaan untuk membangun kapabilitas dan sikap tenaga kerja, penguatan organisasi, yang pada akhirnya akan menentukan keberhasilan pencapaian tujuan BUMN. Hasil penelitian dengan metoda descriptive statistic menunjukkan bahwa Informasi Risiko belum mencukupi dalam memberikan pengaruh nilai tambah bagi Perusahaan pada level Unit Bisnis; Informasi Modal Manusia belum diterapkan sesuai harapan Unit Bisnis; Keputusan Manajemen belum dilaksanakan secara tepat; dan Kinerja Unit Bisnis belum tercapai sesuai dengan target yang ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian dengan metoda multivariate statistic menunjukkan bahwa Informasi Modal Manusia lebih berpengaruh daripada Informasi Risiko dalam mempengaruhi Keputusan Manajemen; Keputusan Manajemen lebih berpengaruh daripada Informasi Modal Manusia dan Informasi Risiko dalam mempengaruhi Kinerja Unit Bisnis; uji variabel intervening pengaruh Informasi Risiko melalui Keputusan Manajemen berpengaruh signifikan pada Kinerja Unit Bisnis; dan Informasi Modal Manusia melalui Keputusan Manajemen berpengaruh signifikan pada Kinerja Unit Bisnis. Pencapaian Kinerja Unit Bisnis paling signifikan dipengaruhi oleh Informasi Modal Manusia melalui Keputusan Manajemen sebagai prioritas utama untuk ditindaklanjuti.
