The process of sulfation products neutralization in the production of surfactants is not basic, but at this stage the positive effects obtained at the stage of sulfation of organic matter with sulfur trioxide gas are fixed. To preserve the degree of sulfation obtained, it is necessary to carry out the neutralization process under conditions precluding the occurrence of hydrolysis in an acidic medium. The neutralization reaction takes place with a high heat release of about 40 kJ / mol. Analysis of the literature data showed that the neutralization process is not well covered. Little data and hardware and technological design of the process. The process of neutralization in industrial conditions is carried out in apparatus with mechanical turbine mixers, to remove the heat of the exothermic reaction, the paste from the neutralizer is fed into a water-borne heat exchanger and returns to the neutralizer again. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal technological parameters of the process of neutralization of sulfate products and the development of a mathematical model of this process. The results of experimental studies of the process of sulfation products neutralization with an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide are presented. During the research, the influence of technological parameters on the quality indicators of neutralization products was determined, the main of which is the degree of sulfation. The optimal technological parameters for carrying out this process in a reactor with a stirrer under laboratory conditions were found. Based on the data obtained in the basis of this process, the use of a continuous-action reactor with a turbine mixer and with a combined heat exchanger. For the transition to an industrial reactor-neutralizer, a mathematical model has been developed, which makes it possible, by means of mathematical modeling, to correct technological parameters in industrial conditions.

The article deals with the application of the Gaussian distribution for calculating the concen-tration of pollutants. When using the principle of superposition, we have the opportunity to obtain models for calculating the concentration of impurities from a point source of continuous action, in-stantaneous areal and instantaneous volumetric sources. The obtained standard deviations make it possible to assess the effect of air turbulence on the dispersion of pollutants. The first Gaussian model allows one to obtain a diffusion model of a local small-scale space and make predictions, then, based on the Gaussian model of the study, a modified model is obtained for other reliefs and weather conditions. Therefore, the modeling accuracy and applicable conditions are difficult to cope with the needs of large-scale complex meteorological conditions of air quality models.

Introduction. The unit of continuous action for the formation of the underlying layer is designed to increase labour productivity in the construction of roads and other objects, for the construction of which it is necessary to remove the upper layer of soil. For loosening of soil in the unit used bit-like working bodies. Often, disc working bodies are used to cut the soil. Therefore, the expediency of using passive discs in road-building technical means, in particular, in the unit of continuous action for the formation of the underlying layer of highways, is of practical interest. Despite the large number of works, a detailed analysis of the operation of passive disks was not made. Therefore, in order to compare the energy costs for cutting the soil with passive discs and chisel-shaped working bodies, it is necessary to make a theoretical analysis of the operation of passive disks. Analysis of the energy costs of the disk ripper cannot be carried out without having the approximate values of its geometric, kinematic and dynamic parameters. The method of research. As part of a continuous unit to form the underlying layer of roads, each disc would be clamped with soil on both sides and carried out clamped cutting. Therefore, a disk ripper is adopted for analysis, aggregated with a separate energy device. On the basis of the constructive layout, rational geometric parameters of the disk ripper are revealed. The method of calculation of its kinematic and dynamic parameters is developed. In particular, the method of determining the weighted average circumferental velocity of the disk, the angular velocity of the disk and the circumferental velocity of the point on the edge of the disk blade is considered. The modes of cutting the soil by various parts of the disk are considered.Results. On the basis of the developed technique, the dependence of the minimum diameter of the disk on the depth of soil development was revealed. The moment of resistance of the soil to the rotation of the disks is calculated. The horizontal and vertical component of soil resistance to the front disc carrying out clamped cutting and subsequent discs carrying out semi-clamped cutting of the soil are determined. The necessary thrust force of the energy device for cutting the soil with a disk ripper and the dependence of the thrust force of the energy device for cutting the soil on the depth of soil development were revealed. The performance of the unit, including the power device and the disk ripper, is calculated.Conclusion. Since as part of the unit of continuous action for the formation of the underlying layer of roads, the disks will carry out clamped cutting of the soil, for preliminary loosening of the soil with disks, it is more expedient to use a separate unit, including an energy device and a disk ripper. On the basis of the theoretical studies carried out, the necessary thrust force of the energy device for cutting the soil and the total traction force necessary to move the disc ripper were revealed. The performance of the unit is calculated. To compare the energy costs for cutting the soil with passive discs and chisel-shaped working bodies, it is necessary to make a theoretical analysis of the energy costs for the operation of passive disks.

Abstract Most studies contributing to identify the brain network for inhibitory control have investigated the cancelation of prepared–discrete actions, thus focusing on an isolated and short-lived chunk of human behavior. Aborting ongoing–continuous actions is an equally crucial ability but remains little explored. Although discrete and ongoing–continuous rhythmic actions are associated with partially overlapping yet largely distinct brain activations, it is unknown whether the inhibitory network operates similarly in both situations. Thus, distinguishing between action types constitutes a powerful means to investigate whether inhibition is a generic function. We, therefore, used independent component analysis (ICA) of EEG data and show that canceling a discrete action and aborting a rhythmic action rely on independent brain components. The ICA showed that a delta/theta power increase generically indexed inhibitory activity, whereas N2 and P3 ERP waves did so in an action-specific fashion. The action-specific components were generated by partially distinct brain sources, which indicates that the inhibitory network is engaged differently when canceling a prepared–discrete action versus aborting an ongoing–continuous action. In particular, increased activity was estimated in precentral gyri and posterior parts of the cingulate cortex for action canceling, whereas an enhanced activity was found in more frontal gyri and anterior parts of the cingulate cortex for action aborting. Overall, the present findings support the idea that inhibitory control is differentially implemented according to the type of action to revise.

Skin cancers are increasing at an alarming rate, and detection in the early stages is essential for advanced treatment. The current segmentation methods have limited labeling ability to the ground truth images due to the numerous noisy expert annotations present in the datasets. The precise boundary segmentation is essential to correctly locate and diagnose the various skin lesions. In this work, the lesion segmentation method is proposed as a Markov decision process. It is solved by training an agent to segment the region using a deep reinforcement-learning algorithm. Our method is similar to the delineation of a region of interest by the physicians. The agent follows a set of serial actions for the region delineation, and the action space is defined as a set of continuous action parameters. The segmentation model learns in continuous action space using the deep deterministic policy gradient algorithm. The proposed method enables continuous improvement in performance as we proceed from coarse segmentation results to finer results. Finally, our proposed model is evaluated on the International Skin Imaging Collaboration (ISIC) 2017 image dataset, Human against Machine (HAM10000), and PH2 dataset. On the ISIC 2017 dataset, the algorithm achieves an accuracy of 96.33% for the naevus cases, 95.39% for the melanoma cases, and 94.27% for the seborrheic keratosis cases. The other metrics are evaluated on these datasets and rank higher when compared with the current state-of-the-art lesion segmentation algorithms.

Rational use of natural resources, and the involvement of wood waste generated in the logging and wood processing industry in the production of new products useful for society and the economy, is an urgent task of modern production. The use of wood flour of various fractions does not allow the most complete binding of the polymer to wood particles, since the cellulose polymer has a high polarity. This problem can be solved by soft contact thermal modification, as a result of which there is an increase in strength indicators and a decrease in the degree of water absorption. Thermomodification leads to a decrease in the hydroxyl groups of cellulose, which contributes to an increase in the binding with the polymer, its deeper penetration into the pores of the modified crushed wood particles. The paper presents a technology that allows to obtain composite paving stones from thermally modified flour, thermoplastic polymers with chemical additives and modifiers, continuous action.
