The article reports on the new technology and equipment of vertical‑stack molding (VSM), created by OJSC “BELNIILIT” for the manufacture of vertical‑stack molds. The development is intended for the production of molds and cast blanks of oil, which are later used for the manufacture of piston rings of internal combustion engines. The difference between the above‑mentioned technology and traditional methods of VSM is the use of models without drafts. The development is export‑oriented and has a great economic effect for ring manufacturers due to the absence of drafts on castings, since part of the mechanical operations for their processing is excluded, the metal consumption of blanks is reduced, the production spaces required in this regard are reduced, the necessary labor supply is reduced, etc.OJSC “BELNIILIT” has successfully carried out experimental design and technological work on the new scientific and technical products creation, which are of great interest to the world manufacturers of piston rings. An industrial sample of a molding machine and a mold manipulator were manufactured.

When considering the creation of pumps with improved anti-cavitation characteristics, the results of an in-depth analysis of the problem of pumping viscous liquids at high temperatures are presented. On the example of the technological process of evaporation of sugar syrup on a film evaporator of the latest type, the problem of the occurrence of cavitation when pumping viscous liquids at high temperatures was revealed. After analyzing the existing machines used for the specified operating conditions, critical design and operating parameters were identified that affect the appearance of cavitation. Namely, the appearance of cavitation is influenced by the reduced diameter of the impeller inlet, the diameter of the impeller inlet, the number of blades, the width of the blades and the rotor speed. To study the level of influence of these parameters, a method of physical modeling was chosen, an experimental stand was designed and manufactured. Studies have been carried out on the operation of the pump with and without a reducer. The work with a two- and three-blade inducer is analyzed, the work with an open and closed impeller, with one and two-level blade system is investigated. As a result of the analysis of experimental data, the optimal design of the hydraulic part with a three-blade reducer and a semi-open impeller with a two-level blade system was chosen. In turn, this made it possible to reduce the compression of the flow at the inlet to the impeller without loss of energy efficiency; the angles of inclination of the inducer and impeller blades were synchronized. The experience gained made it possible to design and manufacture an industrial sample of a cantilever pump with an inducer and a semi-open impeller. Thus, allowing to solve the problem of pumping thick syrup on a film evaporating unit of the Teofipol sugar plant (Khmelnytskyi region, Ukraine), with a cavitation reserve of 1.5 m.

The aim of this paper is to improve the quality of superphosphate fertilizer resulting from the use of low quality phosphate rock by the use of additives as Illite clay, The use of Glauconite rock (green sand) and illite rock (green clay) in the abu tartur phosphate's region – new valley and mixing it with low quality phosphate rock (22%) for the production of fertilizers with higher quality and rich with the essential elements for plants (N, K) which aren't exist in low quality phosphate rock individually, an industrial sample test had been done and a mixed fertilizer had been produced (Elayte rock and low quality phosphate (22% ) as 1:1).

OBJECT. When developing DC test voltage sources to assess the insulation quality of high-voltage equipment, the task is to measure the leakage current flowing through the test object. METHODS. When solving the problem the authors proposed a technical solution for measuring the current flowing through the test when testing insulation with rectified voltage, which uses a precision resistor, an isolating amplifier, a 2-channel operational amplifier with a unipolar power supply, zero voltage drift, and an ADC of a microcontroller.RESULTS. The article in the course of the study of the stand of the circuit for measuring the leakage current flowing through the tested object when testing the insulation with rectified voltage, an experimental industrial sample was created, which makes it possible to measure the leakage current value in the range from 10 μA to 1000 μA. The use of the developed circuit for measuring the current flowing through the test object when testing the insulation with rectified voltage makes it possible to calculate the DC component of the voltage signal from the alternating signal and in real time, and, therefore, to quickly monitor the current in high-voltage circuits for continuous monitoring. CONCLUSION. So the introduction of this sample will make it possible, on its basis, to create a number of digital measuring microammeters that make it possible to measure the leak-age current in high-voltage test installations for testing the insulation of objects from 15 nF to 200 nF, in the leakage current measurement range from 10 μA to 1000 μA. The results obtained can be used in high voltage technology to study circuits for measuring the leakage current flowing through the test object when testing insulation with rectified voltage.

Health insurance is an important method of financing the increased costs of medical care. The high cost of health services coupled with the randomness of health needs and the inadequacy of personal savings is the principal reason for the importance of insurance as a means of financing health services. The aim of the study is the awareness about health insurance among unorganized industrial workers in Coimbatore. The study states that people are aware of insurance but probably unaware of schemes and types of insurance.

The possibility of simultaneous potentiometric and conductometric titration is considered for determination of the acid (A.N.) and amine (AM.N.) numbers of the amidation reaction mixture for technical fatty acids (F.A.) by diethylenetriamine (DETA). Interpretation of titration curves was performed on the basis of model mixtures for DETA and F.A. industrial sample. The obtained results indicate the possibility of determining A.N. and AM.N. values by sequential titration of one sample for industrial organic products and amidation reaction mixtures.

A novel light-sheet microscopy (LSM) system that uses the laser triangulation method to quantitatively calculate and analyze the surface topography of opaque samples is discussed. A spatial resolution of at least 10 μm in z-direction, 10 μm in x-direction and 25 μm in y-direction with a large field-of-view (FOV) is achieved. A set of sample measurements that verify the system′s functionality in various applications are presented. The system has a simple mechanical structure, such that the spatial resolution is easily improved by replacement of the objective, and a linear calibration formula, which enables convenient system calibration. As implemented, the system has strong potential for, e.g., industrial sample line inspections, however, since the method utilizes reflected/scattered light, it also has the potential for three-dimensional analysis of translucent and layered structures.

Despite its high toxicity, cyanide is used in several industrial processes, and as a result, large volumes of cyanide wastewater need to be treated prior to discharge. Enzymatic degradation of industrial cyanide wastewater by cyanide dihydratase, which is capable of converting cyanide to ammonia and formate, is an attractive alternative to conventional chemical methods of cyanide decontamination. However, the main impediment to the use of this enzyme for the biodegradation of cyanide is the intolerance to the alkaline pH at which cyanide waste is kept and its low thermoresistance. In the present study, the catalytic properties of whole E. coli cells overexpressing a cyanide dihydratase gene from B. pumilus were compared to those of the purified enzyme under conditions similar to those found in industrial cyanide wastewater. In addition, the capacity of whole cells to degrade free cyanide in contaminated wastewater resulting from the gold mining process was also determined. The characteristics of intracellular enzyme, relative to purified enzyme, included increased thermostability, as well as greater tolerance to heavy metals and to a lesser extent pH. On the other hand, significant enzymatic degradation (70%) of free cyanide in the industrial sample was achieved only after dilution. Nevertheless, the increased thermostability observed for intracellular CynD suggest that whole cells of E. coli overexpressing CynD are suited for process that operate at elevated temperatures, a limitation observed for the purified enzyme.
