Purpose: Malaria remains to be among the primary causes of sickness, infirmity and cases of deaths and has continued to negatively affect health and socio-economic progress in the country. Rapid reporting of malaria cases could avert prospective epidemics which would lead to a high proportion of sickness and deaths. The study, therefore, sought to assess the determinants of malaria routine data reporting among health workers in selected health facilities in Trans-Nzoia County. Methodology: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted to evaluate the organizational, technical, and behavioral aspects that influence the reporting of malaria routine data among health workers. The sample size was 123 health facilities that were selected randomly based on their strata. Research tools that were utilized were structured questionnaires, focused group discussion, and key informant interview guide.  Chi-square (χ2) was used to test the hypothesis with a p ≤ 0.05 being considered significant. Findings: The findings on socio-demographic characteristics indicated that majority of the research participants were females 76(62.6%), had college education 85(69.1%) and 81 (65.9%) had worked in the health facility for 5 to 10 years. Most 76(61.8%) of the health facilities were Level 3 (Health Centres). There was significant relationship between level of health facility and malaria routine data reporting at (χ2 =9.999, df=3, p-value = 0.019). Other organizational factors that had significant association with malaria routine data reporting (p< 0.001) include inadequate budget, low staffing, poor ICT infrastructure and complex data management procedures.  In terms of technical aspects, limited training on technologies had significant relationship with malaria routine data reporting (p< 0.001). Regarding behavioral aspects, identified factors include lack of incentives and inadequate resources. Unique contribution to theory, practice and policy: The outcomes of the study provide proof for support, tactical organization, and collaboration in the health sector in Trans-Nzoia County as well as to the other developmental agencies working in the field of malaria control. The study recommends that the county government of Trans-Nzoia should provide adequate funds and ICT infrastructure to boost malaria routine data reporting. The county department of health with support from the national government through Division of National Malaria Program (DNMP )should consistently conduct in-service training, support supervision and data quality audits.

Dashboards are the ubiquitous means of data communication within organizations.Yet we have limited understanding of how they factor into data practices in the workplace, particularly for data workers who do not self-identify as professional analysts. We focus on data workers who use dashboards as a primary interface to data, reporting on an interview study that characterizes their data practices and the accompanying barriers to seamless data interaction. While dashboards are typically designed for data consumption, our findings show that dashboard users have far more diverse needs. To capture these activities, we frame data workers’ practices as data conversations:conversations with data capture classic analysis(asking and answering data questions), while conversations through and around data involve constructing representations and narratives for sharing and communication. Dashboard users faced substantial barriers in their data conversations: their engagement with data was often intermittent, dependent on experts, and involved an awkward assembly of tools. We challenge the visualization and analytics community to embrace dashboard users as a population and design tools that blend seamlessly into their work contexts

Abstract: This research is based on retention activities in a hospital that are still done manually. Storage activities that are still carried out manually greatly affect the performance of medical record officers because of the length of time it takes and also affects the storage of medical record files in the storage room. The purpose of this research is to create a retention information system. Where the design of this retention information system can provide information about the processing and reporting of retention carried out in a hospital. This retention information system contains data that supports the presentation of information needed by medical record officers. In addition, this retention information system helps make it easier for medical record officers to store medical record files quickly and accurately, as well as assist officers in the data reporting process. Data are collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. The results of this study indicate that this retention information system makes it easier for officers to do retention more quickly and precisely, especially in terms of data reporting.            Keywords: design; informations system; microsoft visual studio 2010; retention.

Everyday the MDN Building Shop has sales transactions but these transactions are only used as data reporting, MDN Building Stores do not manage sales transaction data and analyze a relationship between building material products purchased by consumers in the future. The purpose of this study is to process sales transaction data from consumer purchases by utilizing the Apriori Algorithm, one of the data mining processing methods. From the Apriori algorithm that will be used, it will find an association rule by finding the minimum value of support and confidence. The final result is that if the minimum support value is 50% and the minimum trust is 90%, then 10 patterns of consumer purchase transactions are obtained with 100% confidence. From the association rules, it was found that the transactions that occurred were the purchase of Knie In Grest, Tee in grest, gelam 10 x 12, thinner bottles, knie grest 3 in, waving aw pipes, speck gloves, 3 mm polywood, and 1 nail in a keris.

Politics are a fundamental part of human society, and as such, studies have been done to attempt to find ways to predict one’s political views, particularly for advertising purposes. In recent years, politicians and political movements have begun to employ the use of popular music or musicians to accompany their causes and advertisements. Studies have been done in the past to determine whether or not a correlation exists between politics and music, yet most have fallen short in data collection or simply did not achieve any results with correlation. This study attempts to go beyond previous studies by using more accurate data reporting with Spotify’s API, which allows for data collection from a participant’s entire listening history on the platform. All of the programming, survey questions, excel formulas and instructions can be found at https://github.com/ajlacognata/researchspotifyapp if you wish to attempt to replicate this study.
