In this scientific work, the My Creative Idea (MIC) program was created and developed in the Coteminas S.A. textile industry, distributed among the organization's units in the country with emphasis on the São Gonçalo do Amarante unit in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. The aim was to critically analyze the improvements of industrial-scale processes resulting from the creativity and innovation intrinsically incorporated and experienced daily in the program. Thus, the general objective of the work was to evaluate the improvements in the productive processes coming from an innovation program in a textile industry, considering as specific propositions with respect to calculating the gains with reduction of losses, cost of implementation of ideas and measure financial returns and evaluate employee satisfaction according to the program. Moreover, there was free access in the company to be able to collect valuable information that could formalize a robust database for later structuring of the document, as well as the application of action research in the form of questionnaires. Therefore, the results verified clarified and emphasized the program's aggregating character to the organization in a general way under aspects that approach the financial spheres, the quality, and the satisfaction and motivation of the employees involved in this whole scenario. I suggest continuing to work on a continuous improvement methodology to further enhance My Creative Idea over the years, as well as insert this method of work to units that have not incorporated this program into their business strategies.

This essay explores the complexity of the tension between what art fundamentally is, a unique work that expresses symbolic meaning, and the reproduction of that work. There are artists who harness reproducibility as a way to produce an innovation (a creative idea that has impact), enact entrepreneurship (connect work with an audience through a mediating structure), and work efficiently so that they can make the money they need to feed their art. But reproduction also feeds the capitalist urge to exploit the labor of the artist for financial gain, albeit sometimes to the benefit of organizations that themselves support artists or are part of the cultural fabric of a community. And, paradoxically, innovation itself can be obstructed by the very institutions designed to nurture it. Like everything else about the relationship between art, money, and entrepreneurial action, the concept of novelty and uniqueness is complicated. Examples are drawn from the visual arts.

Employees’ creative idea enactment is critical for organizational creativity assessment and innovation implementation. In the paper, we want to develop and verify a moderated chain mediation model to explore the impact of supervisor developmental feedback on the enactment of employees’ creative ideas, and to investigate the moderating role of psychological empowerment further. Hierarchical regression analyses of the multi-time data from 375 employees in China indicate that positive emotions and work engagement, respectively mediate the relationship between supervisor developmental feedback and employees’ creative idea enactment. Simultaneously, positive emotions and work engagement form chain mediation between supervisor developmental feedback and creative idea enactment. Besides, we find that psychological empowerment negatively moderates the relationship between supervisor developmental feedback and employees’ positive emotions, as well as moderates the chain mediating effect of this paper. The present study not only contributes to the literature on feedback and innovation, but also provides practical guidance on how to seek remedies to facilitate employees’ creative idea enactment from the perspective of human resource management.

Creativity involves thinking skills and thinking that conveys ideas, while critical thinking is thinking that assesses ideas. Creative thinking terminology also carries the meaning of thinking outside the box. The current scenario does not limit us to work, but rather become more creative in thinking of an idea. The creative idea in this artwork arose when a situation asked us to always stay at home, and barred us from going out looking for the material. The uniqueness in its process is the use of materials that replace canvas, acrylic or watercolor, and drawing tools. This is due to the difficulty in obtaining art supply sources due to the Movement Control Order (MCO/PKP) which is still in force. Referring to the scenario, why don't we look around to get an idea? What is the impact if we use existing materials around to be used as a medium? Have we ever considered taking such action when faced with this situation? Isn't that called creativity? Could this be what the New Norm means? This artwork has a back to the basic concept. When the new norm takes place, it is like a baby who needs to learn the norms of life. The abstract paintings created feature basic shapes such as squares and oval that we often see everywhere in our day. It describes the basic concepts as we begin to learn to draw. This is very much related to the new norm that we need to get used to and start from the basics. It’s not just about art, it’s about creativity.

Abstract Design fixation, which is a form of cognitive bias, is commonly reported to unconsciously occur when designers take the path of least resistance during the fulfillment of a design task. It’s thought to be easy and effortless. Nonetheless, the mental states such as mental effort and mental fatigue that accompany the occurrence of different levels of design fixation are still unknown. In the present study, an experiment using electroencephalography (EEG) was conducted to examine the mental effort and mental fatigue involved in the occurrence of different levels of design fixation during creative idea generation. Fluency, flexibility, the degree of copying, and the time spent generating ideas were used to evaluate the design performance and fixation level of each participant, and the task-related power changes of theta, alpha, and beta bands of participants with higher and lower levels of fixation during creative idea generation process were compared and analyzed separately. The comparison results revealed that participants with higher levels of design fixation made the less mental effort and showed higher levels of mental fatigue during the ideation process compared to those with lower levels of design fixation. These results provide additional evidence for the mental states involved in the occurrence of design fixation and could contribute to a deeper understanding of design fixation from the neuroscience perspective.
