Hypoxia plays a major role in limiting the construction of the high-altitude mine. Understanding the effect and the distribution of diffused oxygen supply at different altitudes is the premise for the design of a mine with oxygen supply system and the full utilization of oxygen resources. For the optimal design of an oxygen supply mode and ventilation system, a multi-component fluid model of the diffused oxygen supply of a single-head tunnel was developed. This study reveals the variation law of the average oxygen mass fraction at different altitudes. The relationship between the distance from the heading face and the oxygen mass fraction at each altitude was fitted. The results show that the distribution of oxygen mass fraction in a single head tunnel at different altitudes presents a similar trend of increasing first and then decline. In addition, the change of the average oxygen mass fraction with the increase of altitude is not linear, and the dispersion loss is larger in high-altitude areas. The largest oxygen enrichment area is distributed at the altitudes of 4000–4500 m. This study provides theoretical support for improving the hypoxic environment of high-altitude metal mines excavation work.

Abstract In this paper, a ε-Ga2O3 film/ZnO nanoparticle hybrid heterojunction deep ultraviolet (UV) photodetector is described for 254 nm wavelength sensing application. The constructed ε-Ga2O3/ZnO heterojunction photodetector can operate in dual modes which are power supply mode and self-powered mode. Under reverse 5 V bias with 254 nm light intensity of 500 μW/cm2, the photoresponsivity, specific detectivity and external quantum efficiency are 59.7 mA/W, 7.83×1012 Jones and 29.2%. At zero bias, the advanced ε-Ga2O3/ZnO photodetector performs decent self-powered photoelectrical properties with photo-to-dark current ratio of 1.28×105, on/off switching ratio of 3.22×104, rise/decay times of 523.1/31.7 ms, responsivity of 4.12 mA/W and detectivity of 2.24×1012 Jones. The prominent photodetection performance lays a solid foundation for ε-Ga2O3/ZnO heterojunction in deep UV sensor application.

The article is devoted to improving the methods for building throttle diagrams of gas-hydrodynamic measuring transducers of physical and mechanical parameters of fluids. The authors reviewed modern throttle transducers of various parameters, built on different diagrams, with different numbers and types of throttle elements, with different output signals. We established that the goodness of the measuring transducer is determined both by the structural diagram and the design characteristics of the throttle elements of a specific measuring diagram. The article proposes using structural synthesis with parametric optimization to achieve the specified characteristics of the gas-hydrodynamic transducers. The aim is to develop an effective method for building throttle diagrams of gas-hydrodynamic measuring transducers of physical and mechanical parameters of fluids using structural optimization of diagrams and to evaluate each dia-gram using parametric optimization methods with the appropriate criterion that quantifies the goodness of the measur-ing transducer. To achieve this goal, the authors analyzed the criteria and resources of structural and parametric optimization of gas-hydrodynamic transducers. In particular, the following resources of structural synthesis of measuring transducers’ dia-grams are analyzed: diagram order and throttle arrangement, type of throttles, output signals, supply mode of the transducer. Approaches to parametric optimization of throttle diagrams are offered: based on the mathematical model, one defines the objective function, forms restrictions on variable and fixed values, substantiates optimization parameters, chooses the optimization method. As a result of the research, the authors developed a technique for structural and parametric optimization of gas-hydrodynamic measuring transducers, making it possible to synthesize throttle diagrams and build mathematical models of transducers of specific parameters of the fluid with optimal characteristics.

Abstract Bursting development of the technological base of semiconductor quantum electronics determined the width of the domain for use of semiconductor lasers in optical-electronic measuring systems based on the optical methods of stream research. In order to improve the accuracy of such systems, it is proposed to use a simple technique for optimizing the supply mode of a single-mode laser diode, based on an analysis of the current dependence of its integral spectral parameter. It is shown that the optimal value of the pumping current appears when the radiation spectrum envelope line tends to match the normalized Gaussian curve within the width of the spectral line.
