Measurements of the dynamic load of conveyor belts of identical strengths were used to evaluate and compare the data for belts with and without a support system. The goal was to identify the effects of the support system in terms of a relative amount of impact energy absorbed by a conveyor belt. A dynamic model was designed based on selected parameters of the impact process. Damage to conveyor belts, caused by the absorption of impact energy, was evaluated using the applied methods of mathematical statistics.

Mitra Home salted egg industry SANIA MSME is an MSME that engages in duck cultivation and the production of Smoked Salted Eggs. SANIA MSME was founded by a duck breeder group in 2008 in Kawedusan Ponggok Village, Blitar. Smoked salted eggs are known for their burnt/smoky aroma and greasy egg yolks. Smoked egg production is done manually using the use of smoking drums. These manual devices are only capable of baking 150 grains per day. Meanwhile, damage due to smoking with an oven drum can reach up to 15-20%. This can reduce profits by up to 20% per cycle of the smoking process. Damage occurs when users forget or are too late to lower the drum oven's temperature before it reaches temperatures of 1000C or more. The uneven heat can also result in a reduction to taste and greasiness of the egg yolks. Manual ovens take 7-10 hours at 80-900C to cook. From discussions with partners, it was discovered that they needed egg smoking ovens that feature thermoregulators and can produce even flows of smoke automatically. There is a need for technological innovation in the egg fumigation equipment category in the form of smart egg smoking ovens complete with thermoregulators and automatic smoke airflow systems. Smart ovens have the potential to increase productivity by 75% with a faster smoking process of 3-4 hours. The service method was carried out by way of producing a design for smart ovens, socialization and assistance in the use of the device, assistance in the production of smoked eggs, and program evaluation. The results of the mentoring activity suggested that the production of smoked eggs can increase by 70% with the level of cooking damage sitting at less than 10% and an improvement in the product's taste.

The outbreak of the present pandemic coronavirus (official designation COVID-19 or SARS-CoV-2) has a clear negative impact on academic and research activities. Issues created by such pandemic viz. loss of communication; shut down of school, college and universities; disruption of the formal learning process; damage of print materials, etc. provoke the transformation of the learning process from conventional to digital. A sophisticated & multitasking platform for online learning is the primary requirement of this transformation, which conforms to the 5A's of access, i.e., Availability, Adequacy, Accessibility, Affordability, and Appropriateness. It bridges the digital divide by ensuring equal access to the web for all. In this paper, the authors have conducted a comparative analysis between the most commonly used web-conferencing tools (viz. FCC, ZOOM, GTM, Join.me & Cisco WebEx) in India, both in terms of users’ & economic perspective. The Users’ perspective was determined by conducting a short online survey using a Google form questionnaire. The survey contains 450 respondents equally distributed among three sample groups, viz. Students, faculty members & library professionals. And the Economical compatibility is identified by solely using the tools & check their pricing & plans. After evaluation & comparison, the study identified that the tool FCC (Free Conference Call), can use by learners and educators as an alternative solution to the physical classroom. This is a dissemination or sharing platform and the most versatile and comprehensive free web-conferencing solution which can be used by academic institutions and educators for online classes. Besides, this paper also goes through a basic overview of 5 A’s of access and provides sufficient evidence that FCC meets all the five criteria of accessibility to clarify the judgment of its acceptance.

By using a fast dynamic loading method, six Chinese traditional style lintel-column joints were tested and studied, seismic performance indicators of the joints were obtained. Results indicate that seismic behavior of Chinese traditional style architecture with lintel-column joint was superior to contemporary beam-column connection,load-bearing capacity and dissipation energy capacity of specimens with viscous damper is superior to specimens without viscous damper. Compared with single lintel-column joints, dual-lintel-column joint had higher bearing capacity stiffness and fuller hysteretic curve. Dual-lintel-column structure form located in the outer eave column has a role similar to ring beam, which could enhance the overall performance of structure use. And a series of damage models were used to evaluate the whole process damage for 6 specimens. Furthermore, the results and proposals not only benefits to further development for Chinese traditional style structure, but also has reference value to the design, construction and research of Chinese traditional style structure.

In the process of oilfield development, the reservoir can be polluted by well cleaning, pump inspection and other operations. And that will lead to a long recovery period of oil well production after operation, and even the production is difficult to recover. In recent years, unplugging transformation and other technologies have been researched and applied, and certain results have been achieved. However, there is a lack of systematic evaluation and analysis on the applicability, advantages and disadvantages of various technologies. For this reason, the application effect of the existing technology is systematically analyzed and evaluated in terms of the formula of unplugging agent, unplugging process, damage mechanism, oil-water well relationship, production layer and other aspects by means of combination of geology and engineering. The adaptability of this technology is obtained, and it is used as the principle of well selection for subsequent technical application to further improve the effect of measures.

Abstract Purpose of the study. To evaluate changes of bands nuclear neutrophils level and their dynamics parameters during treatment in patients with acute alimentary pancreatitis based on repeated measurements and taking into account the severity of the course. Materials and methods. Seventy patients with acute alimentary pancreatitis were examined, who treated in Surgical Department of Vinnitsa Regional M. I. Pirogov Clinical Hospital. Average age was 45,4 ± 13,87 years. Severe pancreatitis was found in 34 (48,57%) people, in 25 (35,72%) – moderate, 11 (15,71%) persons had mild forms. The severity of the disease was assessed using the Atlanta classification (2012). To achieve aim of study the repeated measurements of the stabs neutrophils levels were performed for all patients. Statistical analysis was performed using STATISTICA 13. Results. The significant difference between the stabs neutrophils values identified in patients with acute alimentary pancreatitis was proved, taking into account the severity of the course, both during the primary measured (p = 0,04), during treatment (p = 0,004), and after its completion (p < 0,00001). The significant increase of stabs neutrophils level associated with increasing severity of acute pancreatitis, as in the primary treatment of patients (τ = 0,23, p = 0,005), with determination during treatment (τ = 0,31, p = 0,0001) and after its termination (τ = 0,49, p ≤ 0,00001) was determined. When comparing the indexes of stabs neutrophils determined by repeated measurements, a rapid and continuous decrease of their values was found, as a whole in the group – by 3,76 times, and in the groups with a mild course of the inflammatory process – 6,75 times, the average degree of severity – in 5,11 times and severe forms – 3,05 times. Conclusions. High informativeness of evaluation stabs neutrophils level and their dynamic during repeated measurements in patients with acute alimentary pancreatitis taking into account the severity of the course has been proved. Keywords: acute alimentary pancreatitis, stabs neutrophils level, inflammatory process, damage to the pancreas, acute pancreatitis of alimentary genesis.

This study presents a two-dimensional ordinary state-based peridynamic (OSB PD) modeling of mode-I delamination growth in a double cantilever composite beam (DCB) test using revised energy-based failure criteria. The two-dimensional OSB PD composite model for DCB modeling is obtained by reformulating the previous OSB PD lamina model in x–z direction. The revised energy-based failure criteria are derived following the approach of establishing the relationship between critical bond breakage work and energy release rate. Loading increment convergence analysis and grid spacing influence study are conducted to investigate the reliability of the present modeling. The peridynamic (PD) modeling load–displacement curve and delamination growth process are then quantitatively compared with experimental results obtained from standard tests of composite DCB samples, which show good agreement between the modeling results and experimental results. The PD modeling delamination growth process damage contours are also illustrated. Finally, the influence of the revised energy-based failure criteria is investigated. The results show that the revised energy-based failure criteria improve the accuracy of the PD delamination modeling of DCB test significantly.
