The use of stone veneer in the creation of furniture facades and interior interiors is an innovative field. Today, stone veneer kitchens are very popular not only among well- off, but also among average consumers. Stone veneer is easy to maintain, and at the same time it can withstand relatively high mechanical and thermal loads. These indicators are especially important for kitchen furniture. You can decorate with stone panels not only residential premises, but even more so the premises of bars, restaurants, administrative offices, halls of hotels and hotels, etc. Stone veneer has a large number of shades, in addition, stone veneer with lighting looks very original and advantageous. This is important for the author’s interior design. In recent years, stone veneer is becoming more and more popular in the design of premises, not only because it has a large color range, but also because it is in the middle price category.

Sustainable and green materials have been studied in dye and pigment productions to reduce their environment impacts from being produced and applied. Although natural dyes are an excellent choice to move from agrowaste, some improvements must be made before they are applied given their poor fastness. One way of improving natural dye properties is their adsorption into nanoclay structures to give hybrid pigments. This work used tubular halloysite and laminar laponite to adsorb and stabilize natural copper chlorophyll. With a statistical design of experiments, we observed interactions between synthesis factors, such as pH, ionic strength, and surfactant or silane modification. Cool hybrid pigments with high TSR (%) values and a wide color range were obtained by using dispersions with only distilled water at room temperature. Successful chlorophyll adsorption on both nanoclay surfaces took place by XRD and DTA analyses. The maximum natural dye absorption for both nanoclay types took place under acid conditions, pH 3–4, and in the presence of mordant. The TSR (%) improved by the silane pH interaction, and halloysite hybrid pigments obtained higher TSR values than the laponite ones. Finally, a wide chromatic green color range was obtained with the surfactant modification in both nanoclays, and the color fastening was also improved in the hybrid pigments application. The samples generated with 10% of hybrid pigments from both nanoclays and an Epoxy bioresin, show higher colorfastness than the sample with the natural chlorophyll, due to the nanoclays–dye interaction and protection.

Abstract Oxonitride pigments belong to the inorganic yellow, orange and red colorants. They were developed to complement the yellow, orange and red color range. Oxonitride compositions that are interesting for pigment uses crystallize in perovskite, chalcolamprite and spinel structures. The most suitable compositions for pigment purposes are most probably LaTaON2 and CaTaO2N. The synthesis of oxonitride pigments is technically difficult and takes place using a solid state-gas reaction. The pigments are characterized by excellent optical and application characteristics in particular regarding brilliance and color strength, strong hiding power, good dispersibility, light fastness and temperature stability.

Color and pigment analyses are not required by the majority of olive oil marketing standards. However, it is a basic attribute that is highly associated, by most consumers, with the idea of quality. In this study, we aim at providing a fast non-invasive method for routine analysis that can be used on a large scale in the laboratories of olive oil analysis starting from pigment quantification and color range measurements. A selection of 172 virgin olive oil samples obtained in Tunisia between 2018 and 2019 were used for this purpose. Chlorophyll and carotenoid contents were analyzed using a UV spectrophotometer standard method while color range was measured using digital images taken under controlled conditions. All samples showed high significant differences in chlorophyll and carotenoid contents (p <0,01) confirming that the visual selection of the set of samples was satisfactory for this study. Chlorophyll content varied from 3,0 to 28,3 ppm for samples SM137 and SM96 respectively, while carotenoids oscillated between 0,7 and 6,2 ppm for SM138 and SM100 respectively. Principal component analysis using chlorophyll and carotenoids contents along with RGB-CYMY color measurements showed a higher significant correlation P<0,05 between pigment contents and Red, Green, Blue and Yellow colors. Bivariate tests suggest that although color and pigments are correlated, color range assessment using digital imaging may represent a more sensitive method to discriminate olive oil according to cultivar, geographical origin, maturation index and year of harvest.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the influence of the properties of the range of colors (long-wave, medium-wave, and short-wave) on a person`s feelings, his or her psycho-emotional perception, and consider these features in the design-projecting of jewelry. Also, to create further prospects for expanding the consumption of such jewelry in both domestic and foreign markets. Methodology. To conduct research, a set of general scientific approaches was used, in particular: visual-analytical, system-informational, modern methods of analysis of mechanical systems, and the method of classifications. Results. The features of the influence of color properties on the psycho-emotional perception of every person have been revealed. The designs of jewelry have been developed using some specific color ranges that will create an attractive, festive atmosphere, to identify a wider and more effective application of these features. Scientific novelty. Specific features of the influence of color and a certain color range on the formation of the appropriate psycho-emotional mood of a person have been identified, which must be considered in the design-projecting of jewelry. The variants of effective use of special properties of the color range of an enamel covering have been proposed to increase the consumers` interest in new developments of jewelry in both domestic and foreign markets. Practical significance. Practical recommendations and options for using the appropriate color range of enamel covering that can create certain psycho-emotional feelings (good mood, creative inspiration, passivity, indifference, aggression, etc.) have been proposed to extend the application of enamel coverings in the creation and development of various types of jewelry.

И. Балтера. In the article on the material of Boris Balter’s story a significant fragment of the writer’s coloristic picture of the world was reconstructed: the color range that he used to visualize the most important text spaces was revealed, the color dominants were established, their functional potential was described, as well as Balter’s specifics of color painting; some parallels with K. Paustovsky’s color style of writing were established too.
