Improvements on overdetermined problems associated to the $ p $-Laplacian

<abstract><p>This work presents some improvements on related papers that investigate certain overdetermined problems associated to elliptic quasilinear operators. Our model operator is the $ p $-Laplacian. Under suitable structural conditions, and assuming that a solution exists, we show that the domain of the problem is a ball centered at the origin. Furthermore we discuss a convenient form of comparison principle for this kind of problems.</p></abstract>

The use of meeting protocols at the stages of its life cycle

The article is devoted to the issues of automation of servicing the meetings activities which include its preparation, holding and real-time recording. The article proposes a method for conducting and record-ing meetings, regardless of the meeting topic, its language and area of use. The formation and applica-tion of the meeting protocols in the proposed method differs from previous solutions. The meeting pro-tocol is formed from the initial protocol and is displayed in a compact and convenient form on the ad-ministrator's control panel as a meeting plan that can be adjusted and supplemented under the adminis-trator’s control. During the meeting the administrator can change the agenda presented in the meeting plan. In the course of the meeting, its plan and a corresponding text document known as «a protocol» are synchronously supplemented by the objects of discussion that are flexibly constructed during the discussions and were described in previous works. The text document – «protocol» – is formed both at the beginning and during the meeting, and can be used on any PC in the local network regardless of the time and the day when the meeting is to be held. The proposed approach can be used to conduct unreg-ulated ad hoc meetings in SM systems. Owing to the capabilities of the proposed software shell, a «cur-rent» application for the meeting servicing is created from the text documents prepared for the current meeting. The proposed method can be applied in various fields: education, medicine (including tracking of epidemics), military, etc. Moreover, each unique application without the participation of a program-mer will be created from the texts prepared by an appropriate specialist, and the applied method will en-sure the synchronization of the protocols of various processes. In terms of its capabilities, the proposed method for the meeting servicing is comparable to a popular system Meeting King, but this method, in its turn, allows people to conduct and record meetings in any language, and use it to support and log other processes as well.

ORDER IN THE SYSTEM OF NORMATIVE LEGAL ACTS: GENERAL THEORETICAL ASPECT

Аннотация. Статья посвящена исследованию системы правовых актов, в частности такой его разновидности как приказ. Отмечается, что правовые акты играют особую роль в процессе упорядочивания общественных отношений, посредством которых закрепляются определенные правила и требования как для всех граждан, так и для определенного круга лиц. Важное значение уделено процессу управления, который осуществляется посредством издания таких правовых актов органов управления как постановления, приказы, распоряжения, правила, инструкции и положения. Наиболее удобной формой выражения воли должностных лиц является приказ, с помощью которого возможно решение ежедневно возникающих вопросов в государственном управлении, а также утверждение им иных форм правовых актов (положения, инструкции, правила). Однако, отсутствие характеристики приказа в действующем законодательстве ведет к тому, что его относят к локальным актам, не обращая внимание на его нормативный характер. В статье проводится анализ дефиниции «приказ», выявляются его признаки, специфика применения в различных сферах. The article is devoted to the study of the system of legal acts, in particular of such a variety as an order. It is noted that legal acts play a special role in the process of streamlining social relations, through which certain rules and requirements are established for all citizens and for a certain number of persons. The importance is given to management process which is carried out by means of the publication of such legal acts of governing bodies as resolutions, orders, orders, rules, instructions and provisions. The most convenient form of expression of the will of officials is an order, by means of which it is possible to solve daily issues in the public administration, as well as to approve other forms of legal acts (regulations, instructions and rules). However, the absence of a characteristic of the order in the current legislation leads to the fact that it is classified as local acts, without paying attention to its normative nature. The article analyses the definition of "order," identifies its characteristics, specifics of application in various spheres.

Is it possible to give a more precise formulation of the criterion of maximal accretivity for one extension of nonnegative operator?

The conditions being necessary and sufficient for maximal accretivity and maximal nonnegativity of some closed linear operators in Hilbert space are announced. The following problem is proposed: write down these conditions in more convenient form (one of the admissible variants is indicated).

The question about the identity of an emigrant, and about his homeland is a difficult question for him, however, mostly emigrants are in favor of Polish identity, and they point to Poland for their homeland. However, while exploring this issue, it can be noticed that with the passage of years in exile, the answer is not so unambiguous and the most convenient form of response for an emigrant would be to opt for two homelands and for two identities. Poland is becoming a country of sentimental and real journeys while Italy becomes a country where one has a job, a home, a family. The identity of Poles who emigrated to Italy is influenced, among other things, by the time of emigration, the influence of Polonia, the external aspect connected with the character of the society in which emigrants reside, as well as the main motive of the trip. For many purposes in continuum mechanics it has been found useful to decompose the deformation gradient into two factors, which result from some elastic process through which destressing is achieved at a material point. There is an essential rotational non-uniqueness in these factors; however, some subfactors are uniquely defined. In particular, a certain unique right stretch tensor is identified, which serves as a convenient independent variable for describing the anisotropic elastic response of a solid from its evolving stress-free intermediate configurations.
