Cemeteries are often included in typologies of green infrastructure features, but there has been little exploration of their role within a multifunctional network of green infrastructure. This paper uses national greenspace data to map the contribution that cemetery space makes to accessible greenspace England. In doing so we provide a more comprehensive and detailed analysis of the scale of cemetery space in contemporary settlements, finding that cemeteries provide around 4% of accessible greenspace and are particularly important in high-density urban environments. Focusing then on an in-depth analysis of an urban case study, we survey 11 cemeteries that provide accessible greenspace for neighbourhoods in Bristol, UK. This suggests that cemeteries are delivering, or have the potential, to deliver ecosystem services and therefore form an important component of green infrastructure networks, but at the same time also need to provide culturally sensitive space for burial and remembrance. Despite the rhetoric, planning policy for cemeteries is not consistent in articulating their role as green infrastructure. We highlight the opportunities for greater cultural, regulation and maintenance services to be delivered, but also the need for greater dialogue between the different players involved in the maintenance and delivery of cemeteries.

Abstract Laws and norms can change the production processes of an organization, with repercussions for the tangible and symbolic composition of its products. Based on this assumption of Cultural Studies, we seek to understand how the practice of cultural regulation by a group of small producers is (re)signifying the rennet cheese produced artisanally in the Agreste region of the Brazilian state of Pernambuco. We use discourse analysis to analyze interviews and documents such as the decrees and regulations that deal with processing dairy products in Brazil, as well as those governing the process of Geographical Indication, and compare the cultural meanings that have emerged in two spheres of regulation: the public and the private. Findings reveal governmental characterization of artisanal rennet cheese has been justified by a discourse of “quality” at both the state and federal levels. However, the regulation put in place in the private sphere of the Producers Association makes use of different arguments to construct the discourse of quality with respect to the same food.

This paper presents a model of business improvement management of the company's organizational system. This model is implemented through the developed structural and logical model of value management of the organizational system, based on the concepts of the World and Russian Quality Awards and the ISO 9000 series standards. It presents tools such as cultural regulation, rules of joint activity, motivation system, administrative regulation and evaluation of the implementation of concepts for improving the company's organizational system. The formalization of the management model, which takes into account all the factors influencing sustainable development, is a multi-stage mathematical model that works with a given tolerance to achieve the planned criteria in a continuous mode. The criteria for the development of the company's organizational system are formed based on the strategy and policy in accordance with the accumulated experience. Based on the analysis of the previous five-year development and modern capabilities of the company's organizational system, a strategic indicator of the degree of development is determined for each criterion. With the help of the proposed model, an assessment is made for: - integral indicators of the company's organizational system in relation to working with the consumer; - indicators of total leadership of the organizational system and its personnel; - indicators of the total use of the talent and creativity of the staff; - integral indicators of the flexibility of the organization's management. The proposed model of business improvement management of the company's organizational system allows to: - flexibly organize the optimal effective work of the company's organizational system, using the most relevant tools; - continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the development of the company's organizational system in accordance with modern concepts of business improvement.

Through centering the Florida Panhandle and using MTV’s Floribama Shore as an entry point, this essay articulates a Floridian-Southern identity. We organize this project around three themes that are heavily present in both Floribama Shore and our personal experiences as Floridian-Southerners: intra-regional tensions around religion, gender performances, and reproductive politics. Through layering our experiences among vignettes from Floribama Shore, we make visible the relationship between the consumption of popular media, the representations of Floridian-Southerners in popular media, the social and cultural regulation of hegemonic Southern deportment, and our own Floridian-Southern identity.

Researched is the role of traditional educational institutions in regulation of deviant behavior of young people. In social reality of young people, acts of deviant behavior are endowed with new semantic content. Previously unambiguously condemned behavioral acts associated with attitude towards the teacher, the relationship in the school team and the education system as a whole in modernconditions are interpreted ambiguously in youth environment. Meanwhile, basic foundations of universally significant norms, based on life-meaning values of the core of Russian culture, continue to be reproduced in social practices of Russian youth, thanks to mechanisms of self-regulation, that are based on mentality, archetypes, and habitus. The theme itself, the attitude to objects of education, understanding the meaning of their purpose, functions that they perform in society, are closely related to those key needs, that carriers of the cultural code have long invested in these objects. That is why in the social reality of young people hybrid forms of semantic relationship to universally significant norms begin to coexist. Young people more and more often determine for themselves, that behavioral acts should be considered appropriate for themselves, and which are deviating in the field of education.
